Sulphur Animal Control not only rescues the lost or found animals but does their best to find homes for all. Animals are up for adoption, after the waiting time. I first moved to this Community in 1999 from Corpus and have had many dealings with the various staff members over 20 years. If you have a problem, they will help you resolve it, aka one of the neighbors who had dogs who would attack us as we tried walking to/from our vehicles.They help reunite the lost with the owners. I don't know why the other 2 reviews are so low. I appreciate what they do for our community and the assistance they provide.

These people haven’t helped my poor neighbors at all. Their dog has been attack about 7 times by the pitbull next door that busts through their fence. Every time animal control comes out it’s a different story and nothing is being done about it. My neighbors dog has a tube in their throat. What does it take?!!!!

I have called 2 times this week about a stray hanging around my house and was told everytime that someone would be out first thing in the morning and no one has showed up. Now the poor dog is probably going to have to ride this storm out outside. Not real happy about how they conduct business. The guy who answered the phone had an excuse why they didn't show up every time I called.

so i had to call the pound twice because we had some really sweet stray dogs wondering around and every time we let our dogs out to use the bathroom, our dogs would get defensive because it was their territory. the lady didn’t even let me finish talking and hung up on me and by the time she got here she only took one and she left the other one to some young kids who were already being rough with him.

I adopted a sweet little girl Chihuahua that needed TLC and I am happy to have found her. Thanks to all of staff and especially Eli for making this experience a happy one for me and my new tiny best friend.

Called in about a possible hurt dog walking along the highway that I spotted more than once on different days. Dispatcher told me they didn't see the dog when they were out the day prior. I had just seen the dog 2 mins before I called. She got annoyed with me. What's the sense of calling animal control when there is no compassion for an animal in need?
