This really isn't the best time for me to write a review for this particular Dollar Store. Although, in years past, I was a frequent shopper at this location, I rarely come here since I no longer live in Westlake. Considering my experience here tonight, I am happy that I now shop at the Dollar Store on Beglis. Tonight as my friend and I were trying to check out here, the clerk was extremely rude. He interrupted a private conversation between my friend and myself and interjected himself into it. He called us ignorant and I realize right now that everyone is under a lot of stress but he was so rude that I walked away leaving everything in my shopping cart. I really needed the medicine and pet food etc that I was attempting to buy. But as bad as I needed everything, there was no way I was going to spend my money somewhere that the customer is treated in this manner. As we were leaving, the manager on duty could clearly see how upset we were. She inquired about what the problem was and we told her how we had just been treated and she immediately got on her phone to report him. I am usually very understanding but this was the worst I have ever been treated by someone in customer service. From my experience, it isn't normal to call your customers ignorant. I can't even say that maybe age played a factor because this man was middle-aged. He clearly should have known better but he just didn't care. I will not be going back to this location as long as he is employed there.

Clerk was very rude when I ask to use the ladies room. She said it was put of order...lol. Yet minutes before she announced loudly to the 2 ladies stocking that she had to go. I watched her walk to the bathroom. I had to leave an entire buggy of item to go home! Thank God the other store uptown is back open.

Dollar General is almost across the street so very handy when ya dont wanna go to walmart a little more expensive but the convince is awesome

I started using digital coupons and found that I always have a problem with them being applied to my bill. Now the button on the keypad isn't there. I asked about it and the nice cashier said that it's invisible. He got a manager and she said that we need to unbag evening and start all over. Bottom line, don't waste your time with digital coupons at dollar general store. Shop somewhere else!

Didn't have everything I needed, but had enough. Store was neat enough & well-stocked. Nice staff and have self-checkout. Would recommend.

Dgs seem like they are everywhere but you always seem to get different service. This was a particularly nice DG, very clean and organized. The lady who was there was very attentive and know exactly what she had and where it was

I enjoy shopping here almost every day. It's convenient and close by. Especially love their Holiday Decor. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

2 DG locations in the tiny town of Westlake and one is great the other is this one. Very rude employees, always out of the most simple items I need. This one is slightly closer my house but after tonight I'll never come back. Internet says closes at 11pm get her 9:50 thinking I've got plenty of time. 10pm the cashier dude is yelling at me that the store is closing. Outside of public life, growing up if another guy speaks to you that way we would be fist fighting. Not a great experience. Samson St DG. Beautiful!!

The lady working the register was not friendly at all. Had to wait on her to finish putting stuff under the counter before she even waited on me. The store had alot of carts with boxes that needed to be put up. Which was kinda a pain trying to go down isles with a buggy.

The biggest dollar general ive ever seen down here ! They have everything you need. Plus they have the cutest home decor,little gils clothing .. clean very friendly employees..

Not people friendly. Saw someone try and be a good samaratin. Dollar general employee was a douchebag and the Westlake cop in line confirmed that Westlake hates everyone that is not local. Dollar general does not care about you. I will not spend another second of my life with these jackass'sYour management should be ashamed of the way you treat people. If your own mother needed help what would you do.
