I've been to this antique mall many times. It is housed in an old school for the town, and is a unique historic building itself. There are lots of unique items. We've bought several pieces of furniture and other items. It's a wonderful place just to visit also. We went on a Friday in a rainstorm and it was almost empty. It you like antique and collectibles, this is a must stop destination. The town itself is wonderful and has the Steamboat Warehouse restaurant and many historic homes. It's one of the oldest towns in Louisiana.

If you are like me and like to find out of the way hole in the wall places to eat, then this is for you! The Old Schoolhouse Cafe is wonderful!! Old fashoned hamburgers with hand-made hamburger patties and a side bag of chips. It was one of the most succulent hamburgers that I have ever had. As the cafe is tucked away in the back of an antique mall, it has a definite throwback in time feeling. The cafe is equipped with 4 booths, big enough only for 2, and 5 tables.

You can find some great deals here... 😉 but you can also find price gouging on new stuff that some are trying to pass as vintage... & let's talk about the cafeteria... awesome food. We enjoyed every bite, & the staff is down home goodness.

As a local, I find myself coming back to this place several times a year, often dragging along friends and family from out of town to check it out. Whether I’m just casually wandering through the rooms, grabbing a bite to eat at the café, or on a mission to track down that one special piece, every visit is a blast filled with cool discoveries.It's not far from the interstate making it super easy to swing by. The Old Washington Schoolhouse isn't just some antique shop—it's an experience that's worth coming back to over and over again. With all its stuff to check out, the old oaks, and the historical significance of the buildings (the old gymnasium is too cool), it's like finding a hidden gem for anyone who digs old-school charm.

Neat place for antiquing. Variety of antiques, collectibles, crafts. Friendly staff. Although we did not eat there it was nice to have an on-site cafe. Bathroom dirty/needed attention. Three trashcans totally full.

Very good. There are two stories of antiques of all kinds that are in an old schoolhouse and school gym. It's a good place to go junking.

Not as interesting as hoped. The building itself was well preserved from its school days however the merchandise for sale was ridiculously priced. If your looking for a deal this isn't where you'll find it. Also go as soon as they open at 9 because by 10 it's to hot to breath in most of the building.

Neat venue for antique/thrift store. We did not eat at the cafe, but it is neat that it is there. One bathroom, by cafe' was stinky and three trash cans needed to be emptied.

Great place to visit if you have a day to leisurely browse. This is an old school in South Louisiana so it tends to get hot.The only way of cooling is window air conditioners and fans. You will get very hot so dress accordingly. We had a nice day of looking,my husband bought some coins. The gentleman who sold them to him was extremely knowledgeable. We will be returning when we have time to browse the area in the gym.

They had so many things are very every kind of anything you're looking for. Some really good deals if you know what you're looking for. Anything a good flea market has to offer. Definitely worth the time to go and check it out. there's more than one building and so many rooms on different floors.

This schoolhouse and gym, filled with amazing antiques, will keep you busy and shopping for hours! Just when you think you've seen all of the booths, there are steps leading to more! It's literally, the most fun antique-shopping experience I've ever had! The property and the building are quaint and Hallmark-like. When you go, plan to stay awhile, lose track of time, and remember the times when furniture was made with quality and care. If only these pieces could talk!

I really enjoyed looking through the old school house and you could definitely plan on spending at least an hour perusing if you’d like. This place truly has some unique finds. It’s like walking through history. I’m deducting a star because of the storm damage. A few of the rooms on the top floor seemed musty like they don’t get good airflow and are slightly damp. A few rooms were also closed on the top floor to repair the storm damages so I didn’t get the full experience.

Love the building itself. The flea market is big and normally full. But as times are and supplies are limited it is here as well. Keep in mind it will be a hit or miss BUT with all the square footage and areas with stuff you are bound to find something.

Had a great time! Nice selection and the people were very friendly. They have a huge annual yard/bldg sale in a couple of weeks so we'll be returning for that. Even had lunch in their cafe. Good old fashioned cheeseburger and chocolate malt. Haven't had a real malt in years and it was fantastic!

I work here so I'm going to brag, of course. I love this place. I can truly say I love my job and I've been told it shows. If you're looking for a wonderful shopping experience, this is your place. Bring your appetite with you. Our Cafe has hamburgers that can't be beat, varieties of other hot and cold sandwiches, drinks and yummy desserts. Over 40,000 square feet of shopping. The antique fair was so awesome,lots to see,and friendly,fun atmosphere. The school house itself has booths that have had the same merchandise for years. Needs some new stuff and freshening up but nice location.
