Best sausage in Louisiana hands-down! If you talk to Brenda, they will even make a special order for your sausage. Ask them to use whatever spices you like. During the winter I order sausage that is nitrate free and that uses only table-salt. They will only make it that way when the weather is cold. I believe that is much healthier.

The people are okay. The prices are a little expensive. They offer great meat in the meat department and they also offer other services like hunting and fishing licenses. cast iron pots, and very sturdy mops and brooms, and other items.

The store might be a little dated, however, the staff is courteous and it has a real mom-and-pop feel to it.They do have fresh cut meat and most stocked items you would expect from a grocery store.
