Everyone here from the doctors, techs and front desk are so great! I bring both of my dogs here and know they are in the best care. They treat my dogs like part of their own families and are always supportive and helpful with any questions and concerns. I’ve been to a few other animal hospitals before and this one by far is the best. Thank you so much for always taking such good care of my girls!

Dr. Hannah and staff where amazing and truly caring to a new puppy and nervous new dog mom. Even followed up the next day, called to make sure miss Daisy was back to normal. I know my girl will have a great experience in future visits.

I had to put my 2 Great Danes down and it was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. The Vet and staff were amazing through it all. They explained everything perfectly and was compassionate through the whole process. There are no words to describe how grateful my boys and I are of the Vet and her assistant for taking the time to comfort us as we had to say goodbye bye. They showed my fur babies so much love with us as we held them.Thank you to everyone here. I highly recommend this place.

The best vet clinic around! Dr. Hannah and her staff is the best!!! My Jax boy loves Goin see Dr. Hannah. All I have to do is say her name and he gets so excited. With all the problems we have had w/Jax, Dr Hannah has worked hard keeping him alive and thriving. Thanks to Dr. Hannah and ALL of the staff for makin a visit so easy, clean and comfortable!!

Love love love the staff. From the time I called in my concerns until the end, they were on top of things. I have a dog that is 9 years old. Never had any health issues at all. I came home from vacation a few weeks ago and noticed blood everywhere. Like a dateline crime scene. I thought maybe she had a bad period bc she is getting older. I started noticing she wasnt eating but drinking alot. She had gained a ton of weight in about a two week period of time. So i thought maybe she was pregnant bc why else would she gain weight if she wasnt eating, right. Then my little dog peanut looked at me like "please help me", that look you get if you have ever put a dog down :(. So i called my sons vet which is walker south (this vet) and before i even came in i was told what it could be and i needed to come in right away. They worked me in. ThANK GOD bc she had closed pyometra. Look it up! Its a uterine infection that cant get out of the body so the uterus fills with pus and it usually ruptures within 24-48 hours. That fat i saw was my little girl turning into a doggie bomb. My dog is only around 12 lbs so she is small. The uterus of a dog this size should be the size of a sausage or half dollar on each side. When they opened her up, there were two mini football sized uterus walls. I know, I saw the picture. They saved her life. If it werent for the initial call that diagnosed the symptoms correctly on the phone and the vet telling me the same thing when I came in, even before the tests, I would have thought she was pregnant and waited it out only to have my dog die a horrible death. Im not sure which vet did the surgery but Dr. Quincy assisted and helped me with her after the surgery which happened just a few days ago and has called and checked on my dog several times. Such a lovely person. Everyone really truly acts like they care! Super impressed. First time ever there. I will be honest i have been going to another vet clinic for my other dog, Domino for 16 years, prior to him passing last year, and they had started changing in the way they treated me and Domino. Actually made me feel bad because i didnt want to put him down. He had a bad cough but had had it for a year or more and the medicine was working and he was eating and drinking and wagging his tail. No other symptoms but the cough which was fluid around his heart. So i knew his time was limited. But to me, the medicines working, my dog has life and im not about to take that away unless he starts having other symptoms and cant function. Well, they took him in the back to "get bloodwork", kept him a long time and when i questioned it, they were very cold and just acted weird. My dog died the very next day! I just felt like they forced it since i didnt want it. Cant prove that, its just a feeling i got immediately when it happened based off their responses and attitudes and lack of concern or care that they showed. Wont name the vet on this post but it was on greenwell spgs road. So there was no way in heck I was about to bring Peanut there. Thank God my son referred me to Walker South Vet!!! Its not always about just taking care of the animal, but the way you make the pet owner feel, to me is crucial!

The entire staff is wonderful and caring! They were able to see my dog last minute on the Saturday of a long weekend. They took their time with her and were able to diagnose her and provide her with treatment. Even though they closed at noon and we didn’t get there until a little after 11, they never rushed us and provided her with such great care. Cannot recommend them enough! My other pup was already a patient of theirs but now this pup will be too!

The staff was so kind! Not only did they give me advice over the phone but squeezed me in last minute and treated me and my cat so well. She is doing so much better now and they really helped when I was working with a small budget too!!

I would recommend this Vet to anyone who loves their pets as if they are a part of your family, it’s so hard to find a clinic that will help you and listen to you instead of just assuming they know what the issue is! I have always used Walker Animal Hospital since they first open with John Varnado. Always had great experience for new puppy, yearly check up, if they were sick, and if we had to put the fur baby down. They are very caring and sympathetic I have always recommended them. Heather has been at the front desk as long as I can remember. Heather is awesome. Never had a bad experience.

Always lovely treatment here. They worked me in for an emergency visit for my cat when I thought he had a UTI and they are my regular vet for my dog. They're very kind and wonderful people. They give very fair prices and before services are rendered, which is nice to be aware of the cost beforehand.

Walker Animal Hospital is truly the best vet office I’ve been to. I have taken all three of my pets there over the course of about 5 years. From simple checkups to helping ensure a practically newborn kitten on death’s door would survive, they have been nothing but kind and helpful. I have never once felt as if my pet and I weren’t cared for whilst being seen.Over the years, I’ve gone to them for just about anything, from boarding my cat with separation anxiety (who I was told never left an employees arms while they were open so that she wouldn’t cry or be upset) while out of town to helping making sure my next cat wouldn’t lose his eye to an infection, finally to multiple visits making sure a month old kitten found on the side of the road wouldn’t die of dehydration / damage from starvation or even parasites which needed to be removed.Walker Animal Hospital truly cares greatly about not only the animals they take care of, but the people as well. I will continue going to them for help and telling anyone I know with pets to do so as well.

Amazing vet. We first brought our older dog to be evaluated for bloody urine and skin allergies. They quickly got to the bottom of the issue and got her on medication to clear up the urine and decrease the itchy skin. We then had a stray cat that had gotten hit by a car in front of our house. My husband brought her in to be seen and Dr Hannah lovingly assessed her, diagnosed a fractured hip, and told us how to care for her to get her back to running and jumping. I trust Dr Hannah with all our animal needs.

Everyone that we have worked with is kind and knowledgeable. They are great with our girls, who deal with both anxiety and allergies, and go out of their way to dot all the i's and cross all of the t's. We feel both seen and heard and never leave appointments with lingering fears or concerns that things were not properly dealt with. We have never felt rushed and, at the same time, are always seen quickly. Even the front desk staff goes out of their way to be pleasant and incredibly helpful when we call with questions or worries. I use to see Dr. Vornado, when he retired I was left with my daughter's boxer & say Dr. Sibley, great person. I just adopted a dog & he needed to be seen that day. Dr. Prescott was amazing. She was very informative and friendly. I would highly recommend her. Unfortunately, the receptionist was rude and difficult for me to get an appointment. Even after arriving for my appointment the receptionist was rather short and not friendly at all!

PERFECT EXPERIENCE ! We brought out cat in for observation / treatment after a series of seizures during the night . The pre-visit phone call , the arrival experience , the personal ' touch ' during his check-out / treatment and the following visit were all first rate !While waiting during his observation / labs / treatment we observed many customers come and go and all appeared to be pleased and satisfied with Walker Animal Hospital .From this short but exceptional experience we highly recommend Dr. Leslie , Assistant Kaitlan & Heather up front and the remaining staff of this clinic / hospital .

Love that they have Vets on site on Saturday. Also happy to see a female Vet to take care of my dog. He has always been around females and sometimes gets anxious when a male takes care of him. A husband and wife are groomers and she comes by herself to groom Bandit because of this. She does all things and we have no problems. Your Vet, so sorry I forgot her nam, was very good no problems. Also her assistant was great! Thank you so much for having good people on staff.

On 01/09/24 was our first visit. We came to Walker Animal Hospital because we found that they do Acupuncture. Dr. Quincy performed Acupuncture on our dachshund after checking her out for disc issues. She was very thorough and extremely compassionate. She is wonderful and so are the rest of the staff! Highly recommend WAH!
