NOT IMPRESSED.went to the garden department to get something to splice my water hose back together and they were baffled, never heard of such a thing sent me to the plumbing department to get a barb fitting and hose clamps which would hang up on everything at their prices would have been as much as a new water hose one cashier back there takes FOREVER didn't see a self checkout option overall unskilled employees who arent aware that water hose splices are a thing,5/8 hose Clamps for 250 each one slow checkout and I wont be back.

Getting supplies for the freeze. courteous, helpful staff and plenty of supplies available for purchase. Even though the store was very busy with many customers, they had plenty of checkout registers open so the line moved swiftly...waited maybe 1 minute! Recommend Stine for all your home and garden needs!

Found what I needed easily and they had a lot of the supplies. Employee asked if I needed help. Every check out register was open. They do not ask their customers to self check out like big box stores.

Still my favorite hardware store. The manager over flooring was as helpful as ever and the man that cut my carpet went above and beyond to male sure I got what I needed from lumber also and made checking out and loading easy.

We grab nuts, bolts, and, washers for a project I need to finish for the cashier to say go take a picture of the SKU. It is so irritating and a waste of time, either she doesn't know how to do her job or she's lazy.

They only get 4 stars because most of the staff are above and beyond. Their selection of merchandise definitely leaving so much to be desired. I don't think I have ever walked out of that store with even half of what I went in to find. Their fastener department is a joke. Prices are hard to figure out. Some items seem like a steal while others are so overpriced I might faint. Really, the only reason I even continue to go in is to bring my pup to see the wonderful employees!

Stine has some of the best lumber at affordable prices. It is stored indoors and you can drive right up to what you want to load it easily. The rest of the store is well laid out, clean, and stocked with high quality products. The specialty hardware section is the biggest I have ever seen. The outdoor equipment section is very good also. The only weakness I find is in the plumbing and electrical supplies. They are fairly basic and could have more variety. Otherwise, Stine is one of my favorite hardware and lumber stores.

Excellent customer!! Love this store! Ordered a heater, but they discovered it wasn't in stock. Staff went above and beyond to find a comparable heater for me. They found one and i never had to leave my vehicle. Young lady was so nice to me--I purchased two heaters!

I absolutely adore Stine Home & Yard is Walker! The store is clean, the employees are kind, their bathrooms smell clean and they’ve got great prices and if you see something another store is selling at a lower price, they price match! To top it off they’re family/locally owned and operated!

This is long overdue. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I bought a lot in this store, now I'm done. It was my first time to return an item and the associate was rude and had many questions. He even told me that restocking fee should be charged. Worse, he even told me that customers should be educated. Please go somewhere else. This store has the worst customer service.

My wife went in and was on a budget and this wonderful lady in the flooring department Mrs. Lona helped her stay under budget while getting everything she needed. She was happy to answer all of her questions! If you need flooring this lady knows what she is talking about go see her!!

Went to Stines in Walker, La. Ran into a small problem with pricing of an item. Mis priced. Heath, a manager, was called. Was professional and courteous and took care of the problem. Another reason to shop local and family owned stores instead of the big box stores.

Had to run out 24 hours before a major hurricane to grab a new generator when ours took its last breath. The store had just received five truck loads of generators and there was no chaos! Employees were at the entrance directing people where they needed to be. We were in and out in under 20 minutes with our new generator and they even had a crew out front loading them up. Saw a manager bringing water bottles out to the employees working out front in the heat. This store is on a whole different level with customer service and satisfaction! Run with precision and it shows!

Bought a generic 6500 but was defective.took it back and exchanged for another without any problem. This one ran about two days and bit the dust. Took it back expecting some blowback but I could not have been more wrong.they credited by purchase without any problems.this store cares about customers and will be my go to place all the time

Stines is a great store. Unlike the big box stores like Lowe's and Homedepot, there are plenty of knowledgeable staff who are eager to help. 90% of the times I go there, they have exactly what I went looking for. A few times I've just gone on the perchance visit just in case. Pricing is always in line with surrounding competition. Just can't say enough really. Go see for yourself.

I run a small business cleaning houses and they always have the supplies I need and the staff at the checkout counter are always very nice. Easy to get in and out quickly.
