I’ve been going to coreil for almost 2 years for my dogs and it has been a struggle every time. Almost every time I go in the blonde older lady, Vicky, is there at the desk and immediately makes me want to turn back around. I’m not even entirely sure why she works there when she very obviously doesn’t care for her job or the animals that come in. She’s rude every single time without fail. I brought a kitten in that I found bleeding out of his head a few weeks ago and was extremely close to having a panic attack with tears streaming down my face. She stood there and stared at me like I was dumb with no sympathy at all until she was told to take the kitten. Thankfully a friend referred me to Town & Country where they are much sweeter. Hell will freeze over before I return back to Coreil and deal with Vicky’s poor attitude.

I stopped in from traveling with my toy aussie who was ill and their staff promptly stopped and cared for her. We will return if ever that direction

This is hands down the best vet around. Super affordable and they always throw in extra stuff. My puppy went in for his first visit for shots and the dr threw in free worm/ flee meds and even clipped his nails for free. They are so nice and always work with you on prices. I have been using them for over 10 years and it is the only vet my family uses. Doc saved 3 of our animals from parvo even one with only a 15 percent chance of living.

Dr. Armand Coreil and his amazing vet tech Bridget have cared for all of our animals the past 20 years. We’ve had roughly 40 dogs over the years and about 12 cats, and I can personally attest to the professionalism and integrity of their work at all times. This is definitely the best place to take your animals if you truly love and care about them and want them to have the best care.

A decent place for routine visits, teeth cleaning, And Yearly shots. Definitely not a vet recommend for any other issue because in our experience the staff is Not knowledgeable or thorough enough for any issue that is not routine checkup. Had a dog with congestive heart failure, And all they did was put him on IV and tell us nothing they can do. Went to anotherVet in Opelousas, and they Thoroughly examined him with blood work and xrays. They put him on a daily medicine. He was back running and playing. No issues again. Don’t recommend for any serious matter. My dog would be dead had we not gone to a more knowledgeable and thorough vet.

I always get great service when I go there but I think because it's an emergency animal hospital their prices are a little higher than everyone else in town. I have one other go-to veterinarian and that is 45% at least cheaper than this place but everyone here is friendly experienced knowledgeable and they carry a wide variety of specialized pet foods

My puppy had parvo at 10-12 months old and I brought her to Coreil’s they treated her for 3 days monitoring her...My dog is Now going on 3 yrs old so it’s safe to say that they are great at wat they do the staff is very kind,and friendly...Keep up the good work
