They told us that our dog was just scuffed and was fine and didn’t have any broken bones or internal injuries from a truck hitting her and the apparently had internal bleeding and winded up dying days after the vet. It felt like they didn’t care and just wanted us to give them money and leave. This came from Macey, the vet herself. I know people make mistakes but they didn’t even barely have her for an hour if that before they said she was fine. I feel partially responsible because I recommend that vet. all they wanted was the money for the X-Ray and time spent with the dog. If your okay with bad and lazy work and your okay with a dead animal, perfect place!

Thank you for taking care of my cat now she is still in my life even though she had lost all of her babies when I got her home I gave her a baby off of one of the other cat and she loves it she takes real good care of it that's her baby now

This place misdiagnose my girlfriend dog, which wind it up dying three days later and misdiagnosed a coworkers dog which one it up dying a week later. Unless you want poor service, and the death of an animal, go to Rapides parish.

When you walk in and do not know them, do not expect to be greeted professionally or provided with good customer service. Expect to wait, unacknowledged, as the staff giggles and carries on personal conversations while leaning on counters. My first time here, I was looking for a specific dewormer. The woman at the front was about to sell me a medication when the vet stopped her. He told her that one was incorrect and sold me a different medication that was far more expensive. After getting home and applying it to my cats, a quick Google search revealed the medication on the company site. This medication did not cover my specifically requested need that both the staff member and vet were aware of. I had to hunt down a store that sold the correct medication after vet business hours. I wonder how many unsuspecting clients have had the same misfortune. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. The second visit, I brought my kitten for a scheduled neuter and while the procedure seemed to go okay, I again experienced an unprofessional staff. The third and most recent visit, I again experienced the personal conversations and giggling. They didn't seem to fully listen to my cat's situation and went right for expensive blood work that turned out not to be the problem. Me being a concerned pet owner simply agreed assuming this vet was appropriately trained. When I picked my cat up they had broken my hard plastic and metal pet carrier and laughed and giggled rather than apologize and take responsibility. It was to the point where it could have harmed my cat who was inside as metal bars were on top of him when I saw it. The vet couldn't give me an explanation as to why a simpler solution to his problem wasn't looked at first. She made it clear she hadn't a clue what could be wrong other than the worst case, and most expensive scenario. Hundreds of dollars later and minus my pet carrier, I wouldn't recommend this clinic to my worst enemy. I will actively recommend against anyone I care about taking their pets here. I certainly hope another clinic opens up to offer some much needed competition. As for me, I'd drive to another state before coming here again.

The vet seems to know his business but the support staff are rude and unfriendly particularly the blonde that woman that thinks she is better than everyone. She is horrible and she should not work at a veterinarian hospital.

Took very good care of our morkie. Was ready for her the minute she went into labor and for the emergency c-section. Couldn't have asked for better care.

They were so kind when I had to put my old dog down last winter. They are always very good with my boxer/border collie mix, he is a very large chicken. I can usually get in and out with short notice. Staff is great!

Great walk in clinic for shots for my yorkie. Coverage for him to see the vet and get yearly shots are expensive. Pineville and Alexandria is much cheaper but i would rather take him local if it was cheaper. Some even have payment plans for shots so that shots are kept up to date. This would be nice for our local vet.

Brought my dog in to be spayed. Were sweet and patient with. Took the best care of her. Work was so good there's barely a scar. Also didn't over charge me. Awesome vet and now my dogs only vet.
