Pharmacy is a joke. My wife has auto refill on an important medicine with them. I always have to fight because it's never ready when needed. This causes my wife pain and discomfort for days until it is filled. Their answer? We don't auto refill name brand medicine. Why allow me to auto refill if you don't do it. Then it causes billing issues if I try to fill elsewhere because they literally are holding my order hostage. Despise this Walgreens. And yes the pharmacy reps are mostly rude.

Waited 15-20 mins in my car trying to speak with someone on the phone about bringing my meds outside at the top of stairs and hand it to me because I have issues with their stairs. They told me give my license to the security guard and he'll bring it to me. Guard come out and says i have to go in and sign for it! What Spence does that make?Meds that I have received several months and followed the instructions that they requested. So because I can't walk up the stairs I can't receive my meds cause they understaffed and inconsiderate of peopleshealth issues.s they need my sthey need me to sign

This is by far the WORST ran pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of using. I tend to give the benefit of the doubt when I have poor experiences at places because I understand that things happen but this place has been subpar for MONTHS. I've had to wait to pick up my prescription (after leaving it the night before to be filled) every single time I've gone. Not just 5 or 10 minutes but for well over an hour. Every. Single. Time. Night or day. Rain or shine. I can not fathom how it has been allowed to continue to be this poorly ran for this length of time. I suggest anyone who needs a pharmacy to go to CVS. Or Walmart. Literally ANYWHERE but this place.

This morning we waited for two hours for medication for both my children (11 months and almost 4 year old). We left after frustration of how slow they were being and having two sick kids with us. We tried to have the medication switched to CVS (which they were super helpful and fast over there.. unlike Walgreens) but they were out of the eye drops my 11 month old desperately needed. My husband and I decided to head back to Vacherie and have a friend go pickup the kids medications for us. My friend spent another two hours in Thibodaux waiting around for medicine for my children. Upon her arrival they acted as if they never heard of my children (we had literally been checking on there medicine all morning ...while we sat in the car) & like they had no idea why she was there. I asked her to give the phone to someone who was working and a lady said “very rudely” that she can’t talk on a phone. I told my friend to put me on speaker phone. I told them to stop acting so dumb as if they don’t know what and who she was there for... the lady proceeded to say they no longer had the information bc it was sent to CVS (which is another lie). CVS never received anything from Walgreens... BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO SLOW!! The after hours actually sent it to them and WALGREENS (and had actually sent it to WALGREENS TWICE because they lost it). Anyways, about an hour and a half of my friend waiting they tell her that they did not have our Insurance information (another lie) because we have used them in the past - multiple times and that they needed to have it to process everything. I sent them information to her and we thought we were good to go. She leaves about 30 minutes later because it took them that long to get everything still.... at this point I’m just thankful we have medicine on the way! When my friend gets here... (she obviously didn’t know what all she was getting, it was just a favor for me) I open the bag and we have a prescription for my 11 month old that wasn’t even prescribed to her and the dosage was the SAME AS MY ALMOST four year olds antibiotic he received. The eye drops both my children received were correct but the antibiotic for my son was STILL IN A POWDER FORM ... (see pictures attached) and the antibiotic that they somehow prescribe my daughter without a prescription was also in powder form. WHEN BOTH BOTTLES CLEARLY SAY WHITE LIQUID. I then called Walgreens to ask how I was charged and gave a prescription for my child that wasn’t even prescribed to begin with and they tried to blame it on the After Hours Clinic when all the paperwork that they have and that I have clearly only STATES an oral antibiotic for my almost four year old. I asked to guy working in the pharmacy for a corporate number or to be connected with the corporate office because they must have trash men working in there Pharmacy and he hung up the phone on me.I had to then call the after hours back for the tenth time today, if not more to reconfirm what I was supposed to give my children and the correct dosages / information. I then asked what to do with this powder because I was not trusting Walgreens again with medication for my children. The Dr. over at the After Hours asked me to bring all the medicine and paperwork I was given to her office, so she could look at everything and MIX the antibiotic herself at the clinic. She even stated she has never in her life heard of a pharmacy messing up this terribly (she knows this whole situation being that we had to play phone tag all day)! So my husband or I are about to have to go back to Thibodaux to fix a HUGE mistake this pharmacy made. I was never offered a refund for the wasted $30/40 medicine I was given that was NEVER even prescribed to start with but that wasn’t my main concern. My main concern is that they obviously have people working in that pharmacy who have no idea what they are doing and giving medicine to the public! What if I would have gave my daughter unknowingly the dosage for a four year old and her body have some type of reaction being she’s not even ONE???

The pharmacy is understaffed and extremely slow. Was waiting for a half an hour for one script...the script was ready..the pharmacy wasn't ready to check me and the other 6 people in line anytime soon...I've used the Walgreens in Houma which is significantly faster...not by a little...by A LOT!

Greetings all,My husband went to fill my son’s medication that we have gotten here for the last couple years for 25.00 with a redeemable coupon from the pharmaceutical company. He was informed the medication would be over 70$ this time because Walgreens would/could not apply the coupon because they have a new company policy that will not allow them to fill coupons that “don’t go through automatically” (ie they have more leg work to make sure the coupon is applied) My husband explained it was no problem 4-6weeks prior and they said this was a company wide change and to “complain to corporate” if he had a problem. ( What great customer service! ) The best part is my husband drove across the street and got the RX filled for the usual 25$. Guys, don’t give your business to people who don’t want to help you with the cost of your medications. Medications cost too much for people to be so cavalier in the way they handle processing of these complex issues. If walgreens doesn’t want to help you, go somewhere that will. ( CVS across the street!!!!! Great customer service that will work hard to get you the best prices on your medications and open 24hrs!!! )

Seriously THE WORST walgreens ive EVER been to. Anytime i go to pick up a perscription i always have to wait 5-10 minuites just for someone to ask if i need help. Even if there are 5 workers there, most of them seem to be too busy bullshitting and laughing with each other than to help customers. So tired of this place.

Always WAY to slow! Never has anything ready when they say they do. Never calls to say prescriptions are ready like they say they will. Drive through is for people who don't have time to get down but you'll spend more time in the drive through than inside even if you're the only one there

Pharmacy is atrocious, waited 40 minutes to have some lady to be mean to me. Got 2 stars instead of 1 because the guy inside was cool. Go somewhere else for your drugs.

I been sitting for over 30 min script ready he took 2 people before me when they came after meCalled to get appointment on hold for over 25 min spoke with robot then live person gonna tell me I have to call another number. Disorganized staff. No one gets in hurry.Have use Walgreens in Midland Texas & Arlington Texas these store were very friendly and quick. Then come back home to see how this store functions. SAD

Upon entering I glanced in the ceiling looking for the pharmacy I told my son pharmacy to the back, when the cashier volunteered that it was 17 minutes till the pharmacy closes and they won't fill my baby's meds I proceed im at the pharmacy and the young boy approach me and tells me with aggravation that he doesn't know if the pharmacist will fill it while waiting for confirmation I witnessed at least 4 vehicles get turned away to another location and or a pick up the next day with attitude I heard the pharmacist tell the young boy he will do it but next time so this is what I interpreted it was close to closing time so they always shut down early to be out on time but last I checked it doesn't work that way nobody gets out at the time they are supposed to the pharmacy is a pharmacy till 6 and if in fact we can't get service after 545 then it should advertise till 545 not 600 if it says six you have to take customers till that time then shut down and spend additional time closing I just never seen this before and this was my first time doing business here what a first impression on a second trip and another crew I was greeted with rude behavior at the start again in the pharmacy rude stares when I asked questions were unhelpful and I don't plan to ever return to this place again and to think I applied to this place along time ago I'm ashamed for them what horrible things can one go through that they take it out on complete strangers
