Completely different dog that we brought home from the immersion program. I can actually communicate with my dog now and it’s such a rewarding feeling knowing that we are on the same page. Knowing my dog can understand me and has a solid foundation of obedience training has taken a lot of stress off of my wife and I. If you stick with what you learn in the workshop the immersion program is absolutely worth every penny! Steve really cares and is passionate about his work and it shows. Can’t thank him enough for the work he has put into training our Wednesday!

Steve expertise and professionalism constantly demonstrated during our four-week training. I say, OUR, because Steve does wonders with the dogs, but he also is really effective in training the dog owners. Cypher was the second neighborhood dog to go to Steve's "reform school" and both had excellent results. We followed Steve's recommendations for follow-on training the behavioral transfer was nearly 100%. This outfit deserves more than five stars!

We took our golden doodle pup Breggs there for training. He did awesome and is doing so much better at home now. He is well behaved and Steve and his team are awesome. Highly recommend them if you are looking for dog training!

I put my G.S.P. in the Board and Train program at K9 Nation and the results have been truly remarkable! It is like Steve gave him a whole new gear ( a lower gear ) and a stop button! The results far exceeded my expectations. I had expected a new level of obedience but he is a different dog, calmer and pleasant to be around. It has been worth every penny!

Steve Hill and his crew/family are located on a nice tract of land with a large kennel area, plus canine agility and training areas. Steve was able to do great things with our Shepherd rescue, Zoey. She now actually turns away from other animals she is wanting to bark at on the "Leave It!" command! What a miracle. We liked them so much, we now drive a great deal farther in order to board our girl there when we travel!I was proud of Zoey when, on her graduation day, she passed her "Canine Good Citizen" test with flying colors!

K9 Nation is a elite dog training and boarding facility. I called multiple places in and out of state training programs and was recommended to Steve from several trainers. I got my XL bully back today after 4 weeks and man, what a difference! I am extremely happy with the results and have made a friend with Steve in the process. Steve and his entire staff have worked miracles with my Shye, and taught my Tilly girl so much! They are excellent trainers! Steve promptly answered all my questions and concerns, because I was a nervous wreck dropping them and knowing it would be 4 weeks until I saw them again. He eased all my worries. The updated video’s and pictures were a blessing. I highly recommend K9 nation to anyone looking for a trainer! They will be apart of my pups lives forever❤️

We couldn't have asked for a better trainer! Steve is very knowledgeable about the dogs and various training methods to fit each dog's personality. I could see that he and his staff are very loving and patient with the dogs while training with positive reinforcement. I never had to worry that my dog was being well cared for during the immersion program. Steve was readily available for communication and sent videos of the progress throughout the program. My dog came back a better-behaved dog!

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Steve Hill and K9 Nation La!! Not only is he an amazing trainer who worked countless hours with our 2 dogs, but he treated them as if they were his own. If you want someone who truly loves dogs then K9 Nation La is the place to be, Steve is an excellent trainer and he devotes a lot of time, energy and love into the animal he is training. He has helped me so much working with me and Dallas. They also do grooming and boarding. They groomed my Siberian husky and she was beautiful when they finished. So I highly recommend the facility to meet you and your dog's needs.

Steve has been wonderful in teaching us how to work with our eight-month-old lab mix! I had reached out to several dog training places in the area and he was one of the most responsive and cost-effective trainers in the around! He can’t directly to us and after just one session, we noticed an immediate change in our dog’s behavior. We’ve continued to have sessions with Steve to refine what we’re working on with our dog so that he can be the well-behaved pup we know he can be. Steve in particular is great because he spends as long with you as he needs to, explains the “dog psychology” in why they behave like they do, and uses firm but gentle commands and guidance with the dog. We would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a responsive, dog-loving and effective trainer!

Steve is an excellent trainer. Very professional and caring. We brought our 4 yr old beagle/dachshund mix for training & could not be happier with the whole experience. Our dog went from running the other way when called to running to us when called instead. We are now able to enjoy walking and spending time outside with him. Grooming is also a great service offered. Your dog can come home well trained & well groomed. Our family is so appreciative and highly recommend K9 nation!!

Steve Hill is an excellent dog trainer. We have a one-year old Goldendoodle. We would like to train her to eventually be a Children's Therapy Dog. But, she was not responding to training, so we did some research for a good trainer and found Steve. The facility was clean and well run. He immediately bonded with our dog and thoroughly explained his method of training. We felt very confident that he could help us. And he did! Our dog now does far more than sit and stay, the usual. She walks on leash beautifully, doesn't rush to the door when visitors come inside, responds to commands, and is a real joy. Steve also trained our dog to get in and out of our SUV with a ramp, so I no longer have to struggle getting her in and out. We highly recommend K9 Nation La. Steve and his family all genuinely care for dogs, are honest and very reliable.

K9 Nation is hands down the best! Steve is great and so knowledgeable. Our aussiedoodle was extremely fear aggressive with strangers, it started to become a problem especially with his young age. We noticed a change in his behavior after an incident on New Years Eve with fireworks. We knew we had to try to help him and when we found K9 Nation, we felt it was a great choice for us and our pup, Oliver. We had looked around and actually had an appointment booked at another facility, but our groomer suggested K9 Nation. I called Steve that night and he spent almost an hour on the phone discussing our pup, all of our concerns, and all of the possibilities. He recommended we come out and he would assess him and give us his honest opinion. Steve was completely honest and told us he may not be able to help him, if he continued to be as aggressive as he was leading on because he was only a year old and this behavior would continue to get worse. But Steve took a chance and told us “he was up for the challenge.” After we left that day, we knew we had to enroll him at K9 Nation. He completed the 30-day Immersion program and now is a different dog. He is super smart and picked up his training extremely fast. He’s now much calmer and more relaxed. We can take him on walks without him dragging us around and knows commands. He is better with strangers and we can have him lay down and ignore people walking or approaching. One thing we learned for our pup, was he needed ALOT of exercise. Steve kept us updated the entire time and told us we will have to continue all of his training after he leaves his facility. We have made it point to walk him, exercise him daily, practice his commands, and introducing him to new, high stimulation situations to continue to reinforce his good behaviors. Since Oliver left, we have boarded him several times and Oliver absolutely loves going over there. We never would have thought he would run up to someone (other than family) and jump/lick them but he is so excited every time we pull up to Steve’s. He loves playing with the other dogs. K9 Nation is wonderful!

I randomly found K-9 Nation after being gifted a puppy and then needing to go on a trip. I’m one that loves my dogs like family so I was very concerned about finding somewhere loving and good to leave her. THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Steve and his family are AMAZING, CARING PEOPLE!! I immediately could see that they have much knowledge on caring for my sweet Australian Shepard. He and his precious daughter met me when I dropped her off and I felt SO GOOD about leaving her knowing NOT JUST CARE BUT LOVE SHE WOULD RECEIVE!! They facility is immaculate and very well-kept up. When I returned I met his wife and she too is FANTASTIC!! My sweet girl was happy.clean and VERY WELL CARED FOR WHILE I WAS AWAY!! Since I have shared with others I have also heard NOTHING BUT GREAT THINGS ABOUT STEVE AND HIS TRAINING!! I would like to go and have my Aussie trained as well.
