Great people. Great service. Dwayne made sure that he treated us more than fair while we stayed there. He's dedicated to doing business the honest way. We prepaid but had to leave sooner than expected due tounforeseen circumstances. He offered to give us a refund without us even asking. There's no fancy bells and whistles here but the owners are great and everything is kept clean and in working order. We felt safe enough to let our kids play outside by themselves.

We just left a stay at Bayou Boeuf. It is a simple campground operated by a very friendly husband and wife team. All sites are full hook up, mostly 50 amp, with one row of 30.There are several full timers there, but plenty of open spots for visitors. They have three or four "cabins" (really small trailers with wood siding) to rent that are very cute from the outside.There is a washer/dryer room onsite.It is right on the highway and near a train track so expect plenty of noise. But, for the price, the friendliness of the people there and the proximity to towns, you can put up it!

Wonderful experience staying at Bayou Boeuf. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. From the time we called to book to the time we pulled out- he was nothing but helpful and kind. They have conveniently located shower houses and laundry on site. They have quarters at the front office for the laundry. The campground is kept clean and free of trash. Overall, it was a perfect stay and I'd recommend.

Very friendly staff and nice, clean facilities. The owner even offered (since I’m not very mobile & tire easily)to help us give us a ride inn the golf cart from the laundry area to our trailer. 👍🏻

Campground is on US Hwy 165 so there is a great deal of road noise. Mostly season also here, but sites are ample with nothing extra. People are nice.

Spots are tight for anything over 30 feet. Place looks picked up but old, more of a working mans campground as opposed to a recreational destination.
