Stepping into Amjenns is like entering a time machine to 70s America, before everything went wrong. The prices are beyond reasonable, the food is prepared with loving care, and they were even amenable to making a reuben Yankee style with pastrami instead of corned beef. Places like these are gems and are the heart and soul of what we all wish America could return to being.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids arcade which brought me back 50 years to my days of pinball and table tennis.

Owner, FABULOUS!Restaurant...MEMORIES!If you want simple but great tasting food at excellent prices, this is the place to go!Lots of food on the plate for the small price.The home made bisquets are to die for. If you haven't tasted them, you don't know what a bisquet is!Now, get the FUDGE! Bite size fudge for 50 cents. Where can you get that these days?So if you are ever in town, if miss this place you will miss the spirit of the city....

Amjenns is s great place to sit down and have breakfast. The pancakes are awesome. I had a cheeseburger and Cajun fries for lunch and they were so tasty. I can back and had an old fashioned banana split... The decor is retro and the people are very nice.

Prices are great!! The owner is soo sweet! When I was on maternity leave with my daughter my mother and I went every Saturday morning for breakfast. One morning in particular, my daughter was being super fussy while I was trying to finish my pancakes and the owner walked up and offered to rock her while I finished eating which of course I said yes to bc I hardly ever got to eat uninterrupted at the time. Now every time we go in the owner plays with y daughter :) She is so extremely kind and the food is always amazing! She also has a really cool partty room! We will definitely be having a few birthday partys here in the future!

Only one girl working, she was pleasant & trim her best bust overwhelmed, there were several people waiting. Got Bread pudding. Threw it away it was so bad.

I love this place and thank goodness today wasn't my first time or I'd never go back the lady was rude we ordered the ultimate grilled cheese and the bread was so hard I thought I was gonna crack my tooth and the cheese wasn't fully melted time to get a new worker before you lose your business
