First and foremost, I can’t really judge the food because I didn’t receive it until everyone at my table was done eating. So I didn’t get “the pleasure” of maybe enjoying the food. I will say I left angry and seconds away from spewing out curse words because of dishonesty and terrible customer service. It was obvious that the waitress forgot my food on the order but took no ownership of her mistake. She never came back to the table and it seemed as if she was avoiding my table. I will never eat there again. I came hungry and left Hungry. I will go to Charlie’s next time. They didn’t even attempt to make the issue right.

We ate the Thursday special. Best steak I've had in a long time! Baked potatoe was great too. Margarita wasn't great. The staff was so welcoming and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Would definitely recommend

I love this restaurant. My family and I had the best server. She worked the bar, made drinks and also took care of multiple tables. I had the pork ribeye. Absolutely the best I had ever tasted in any country. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Casual dress, but it looks like it should be semi-formal. The prices are a little higher than normal but worth the dining experience.

Lagniappe Restaurant has seafood, steak, and Mexican food. Good menu selections from appetizers to daily specials. Everything we tried was so yummy, freshly cooked, and great sized portions. I loved the catfish...Not bad for Springfield as the choices are slim.

We went today for lunch and the first thing served was salad. They had a dead fly in the salad. Manager came out and pretty much accused us of putting in it there. And there was flies on the table next to us flying around. The manger never offered anything to accommodate us for the dead fly except another salad no thanks. Won’t be returning here.

Amazing experience and absolutely LOVE coming here every single time my husband and I are in town. Also, our daughter loved the fish and fries! If you haven't been, definitely give them a try! Make sure to tell them that the Orlick's sent you!

The food was pretty good... I didn't like how they added gratuity and the kids meals had barely anything, but besides that the steak, seafood platter, Angel hair with crab cake was all very good. The server was a great guy. All the employees were so nice. They loved my kids and was crazy over my daughter's hair.

It was Great! We had been there a few times before but this was really a great experience. Our waitress was lovely, if a bit nervous. We has their Thurs night special, which was Steak with salad and side. My son had a kids chicken strip meal. Our steaks were wonderful, cooked perfectly, and incredibly tasty. Our baked potatoes were also perfect. We both commented that PERFECT was the word to describe our meal.Even our son's kid's meal was great. The chicken strips were obviously not freezer food!I was very impressed with Lagniappe and have already made plans for us to go back with some friends!

My family and I were seated about 30 minutes before our drink order was even taken. Server literally told us that she forgot about us. Wait time for our food was very long and the dining room was almost empty. We were there for about an hour and a half...we left not even 10 minutes after we received our food. On a good note though the entrees we ordered were really good.

TOOK FOREVER TO GET FOOD. We stopped to eat after graduation 5/21/22. We sat and waited for food for 2 hours ( got there at 6:50 and got food at 8:52 ) with a 2 year old and hungry teens. We didn’t leave bc it was raining and our elderly parents were in seperate cars following The building is falling apart. Mildew was on the ceiling tiles . Dust on everything else. The bathroom doors don’t lock. The bill was OUTRAGEOUS ($240) but the food was decent. Waitress was nice but inattentive and still received a HUGE tip. We won’t be back. 1 stars bc they had decent food, other than that this back wood place wouldn’t have any stars.

Food was served cold or room temperature or burnt, water was on the floor where the foundation leaks and we had to request more than once it be cleaned up so the kids did not walk in it, adult and childs drinks are same price only difference is kids drinks have lids, we we're with a small group and waited over 20 minutes to have our drink order taken then drinks were missing when we did get them, there were only 3 other tables occupied on this evening, we waited over 30 minutes for our food, hamburger was over cooked, nacho burned, hot dip cool enough that chips broke trying to dip it, picked dip up with fingers. Not a good first visit.

We ate here tonight for the first time. Lisa was our server. She was excellent. The food was amazing, from the gumbo to the grilled red snapper and cheesecake given to Larry for his birthday. I highly recommend Lagniappe Restaurant to anyone visiting this area.

The fried mushrooms are great! The ranch that comes with them is better than most. I've enjoyed everything I've ever ordered there except the salads. This restaurant is definetly NOT a salad place. The grilled chicken salad was very dissapointing; wilted lettuce, chopped mushy tomatoes, no extras to make it pop. Side salads were just as disappointing.Like the food, but almost never my first choice because i dont LOVE the food. But it's never been empty when I've been there, they seem to have a good, steady clientele so maybe it's me...

CHRISTINA took my to go phone order last night (8·21·21) and she was by far the nicest, most respectful, and THOROUGH woman that I believe Lagniappe has ever seen walk through those doors. Sometimes all you need is a peaceful experience in the midst of the most stressful of days, and she gave me that just by the kind tone and caring attitude. My order was to the T perfect! Thank you!!!

The service was pathetic! Set down at the table took 20 minutes to take the drink order. Waited 45 minutes for an appetizer And an hour for the meals. Owner / manager was Behind the bar socializing oblivious To the total dysfunction going on all around her!! I call her to my table and told in a polite way to do her dame JOB !! Only then did stop acting like she was there partying at the bar did she attempt to do damage control to little to late. Bathroom faucets hanging off the sink broken.This is what horrible management looks like..

The whole experience was horrible. Took an hour and 30 mins to receive food. The staff was drama all drama with nothing but dumb excuses for why the food ticket gets lost in the kitchen? Food was not even worth the money or the experience there

Food is so sub-par. Evidently, they don't have enough business to make fresh salsa, or burgers, and some other items. Suggestion: if you can't afford the overhead to make it fresh, and at the very least freeze it fresh, then don't offer it. I am always dying for a BURGER (a real burger). I would easily pay your light bill! If your menu was narrowed to things you can prepare fresh or freeze fresh, you would get way more repeat customers! WAY MORE. Bless the wait staff's hearts. They are all darlin's, knowing they don't make half the money they could at say, Buddy's or Charlie's. Step up! You are one of two restaurants in a town the size of a peephole. There should be a wait here! Summer's coming, Sam. Get it together. If a $0.99 margarita on Wednesdays cant get people through the door, then you need to change something!

This is for the new one on the Diversion Canal, TERRIBLE just left there 30 minutes ago. I ordered a hamburger steak it looked like it came out of a TV Dinner, I called for the manager he looked like the cook tried telling me it was fresh ground meat until I said it was perfectly cut by a machine. He then agreed it was a frozen patty of something I don't know I left it on the plate. My wife ordered grilled fish and a sweet potato it came fried fish regular potato. Never received the water we asked for when we sat down, will never go back won't last long like this.
