Prices are wayyyy to expensive, have heard stories from workers about how the management is not so good, and the “fresh” produce is not fresh I have found several moldy items in produce including the tomatoes and potatoes. Do not recommend this store to anyone. The owner seems to be greedy and not care about the well-being of customers.

Great people work there to make sure you find everything you need (being a first time shopper at the Springfield store). Wonderful deli people and deli selections. The young ladies at checkout were wonderful. Thanks to everyone there.

Carter’s is a great grocery store! They have lots of great options, but my favorite thing is that most of the time, they are playing Christian music!!! Food offerings, my favorite thing there is the FRESH SUSHI!!!I do wish they’d find a new location so the store could be bigger and nicer.

Place is clean and well arranged. Just so happens a sale was going on and a hurricane approaching so there were lots of people shopping. My only complaint is the 8 for $8 signs were not big and bold so I had trouble finding the sale items. Checkout was quick and friendly. Parking was adequate. Nice family grocery. Hours are convenient. Well stocked shelves and meat dept has a good selection of everything. They also have a good selection of hot food as well. Everyone is always friendly.

Of all of the Carters in the area this one is the least impressive. Bathrooms are dirty, produce is low quality with low selections.Like most Carters, the checkers aren't very polite.

The only grocery store in Springfield. Small produce section, standard shelf and freezer stock, decent butcher shop. Deli with unimaginative plate lunches sold by the pound (cook your own rice!). High prices for mediocrity.

I went to this Carters and found exactly what I needed after I left the larger Albany and they didnt have what I needed. I was so glad I didnt have to go to any other grocery store I wasn't in a mood for a large crowded store.
