This place is definitely a hidden gem!! We weren’t expecting a lot out of this shop at first but let me tell ya this shop is one of the best gift/souvenir places to go to. My husband and I have been looking for the last couple of days at different places to get some souvenirs for our kiddos and my mother in law but haven’t found any luck until we found this shop! We were so impressed and I highly recommend to anyone please stop by you will not regret it I promise. The owner and staff were the nicest people and they were very welcoming ❤️ .. Diamond in a Rough for sure.. so glad we stopped by

Definitely a little hidden gem! We would pass by every time on our way to Baton Rouge and finally decided to stop. Great little outing!

10/9/21Came here for the first time (been wanting to go for at least a year since I found out about it), and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!The cafe on site has THE REAL DEAL BEIGNETS that I remember from a child. Beignets at Cafe Du Monde are NOT the same recipe beignets from the 80-early 90s.You will enjoy this place, too. A lot of great products from LA.

We passed this place on our way to our campground and decided it looked worth checking out. We stopped by the next day and are glad we did. One of the shops there sells olives, olive oil, and vinegars, among other things. I like to cook, so of course, we had to go peruse. The store owner was very friendly and informative and even allowed us to taste test some of the products. We ended up purchasing two bottles of olive oil (garlic parmesan and zesty onion) as well as a jar of savory Italian garlic. Believe it or not, the garlic was so good they could be eaten all by themselves, like pickles! The owner says they do ship, though she doesn't have her online store set up yet, so you need to call and order from her directly. We also bought a t-shirt and stickers from one of the stores and, on the advice of the olive oil store owner, some teriyaki jerky from the Black Market Provisions store (which smelled heavenly!). We also got to see one of the alligators out back. If you like stopping at off-the-beaten path eclectic places, this is a place that is well worth the stop.

A great find not too far from Baton Rouge. I started with Shrimp Bouree, Beignets and Cafe Au Lait at the quaint little cafe. Delicious! Next, I hit the shops, so much to see. The shops were filled with Louisiana everything and the people were so nice, Louisiana nice! I will definitely make this place a go to for when company comes from out of town and also when I'm craving a good beignet.

Cajun Village was my personal favorite souvenir shop in Southern Louisiana. The shop has anything you could think of- food items, LSU apparel, Louisiana t-shirts, toys for kids, magnets, candy, you name it. Nice and cool on the inside and a rustique vibe. Enjoyed this little pitstop when traveling from Baton Rouge to New Orleans.

If you need a souvenir for someone, this is the place to go. T-shirts, keychains, gator heads, and a whole bunch more. Sweet treats and other savory gifts too. There's also a coffee house here. I didn't visit, but it looked nice. There are other shops here as well. Also, be sure to visit the resident gators in the back. Just follow the signs.

My favorite place to take people when they come visit us from other states. Coffee and breakfast is the best around and the little gift and souvenir shops are adorable. And you get to see their live alligator (huge fenced in area).

Adorable little spot with two very unique gift shops and a small cafe. Definitely worth a side stop and less than 5 miles from the interstate.

Fun place! Never have seen more Louisiana products than this place! Love the antique store. The line was too long at the bakery to wait but I’m sure it’s great!

Nice place to visit - several shops with Cajun souvenirs. There's a place to eat, an alligator out back and bathrooms, but it's VERY small! You have to leave the door open unless you want to kiss the door, if you know what I mean.

The Cajun Village, with all of it's unique shops, boutiques and restaurant is a favorite stop in Sorrento, not far off the I-10. There is an antique store, a gift shop with the largest variety of everything Cajun, a wonderful restaurant, a meat store, and other shops, each in historic Cajun buildings. The sound of some true Cajun music is playing as you meander through the village, stepping into each establishment. You are sure to find something there that makes you smile!

Lots of LSU and Saints attire, flags, etc, pepper jelly, plenty of hot sauces, cajun decor, bowls, coffee cups, cd's, postcards, everything cajun you could want! Love this store!

A must stop for locals and visitors. Grab a bite to eat. They have really good authentic Cajun food. The shops have every kind of Louisiana treasure and gift you could possibly imagine. Get you some crawfish jelly, some original Louisiana artwork, some Cajun seasonings and they have the largest selection of LSU gear I've ever seen!

My husband and I enjoyed our Sunday outing in Ascension Parish. We stopped at Cajun Village Antiques and it is so much more than antiques. You will find array of LSU and Saints clothes and memorabilia, a beautiful assortment of Louisiana themed jewelry, an ice cream shop, and let's not forget the lil' cook store. It has every Louisiana spice and recipe you can think of...canned jellies, mayhaw, pepper, etc.A pottery shop that showcases only Louisiana artists, which offers pottery classes as well. A must stop when traveling through Ascension Parish.

This super cute place has so much stuff! I'm sure I missed something. I have driven by so very many times on my drives between New Orleans and Baton Rouge and always said that I should stop in for a look around. On my way to another place I wanted to check out, I decided to stop in and I am so very glad I did. Amazing place. So many knick knacks and things I want for myself or for gifts. I look forward to stopping in again in the future for stuff. Or bring visitors. I highly recommend this to anyone.

We very much enjoyed our breakfast/lunch here. Very friendly people and the food was a pleasant surprise. We walked around the various buildings with antiques and different novelties. Purchased a few items from their store also.

Loved this place-so much to choose from-food, souvenirs, cookbooks, kid's stuff, shirts, etc.-packed into this little village on the side of the road. The owner was very nice & the prices were reasonable.....will definitely come back on future visits to the area......

The coffee shop is cute and the french toast wasn’t bad. Beignets were very good. The girl who took our order at the counter this morning had no personality and didn’t acknowledge or greet us. When we asked her questions about menu items she seemed annoyed. The guy who brought our food to our table was nice and personable. Shops nearby were cute and had friendly salespeople.

Omg! The coffee house was the bomb!! The food was delicious! The shops were so cool and the gentleman taking care of us at the store was amazing! Loved his southern accent!! Definitely going back next time I'm in the New Orleans area!💜💜💜
