This place is pretty great. The people are so nice, we had two golden doodles in for a trim and bath. The good were awesome, great communication, super easy and smooth way of doing business. Both in and out went really really smoothly. Will be returning each time for it did need s! Thank you All.

I have taken my toy Pomeranian to the grooming salon 4 times since moving here & every time there has been some kind of issue with his bath and haircut. The staff is not friendly , they act like they’re scared to touch a little dog under 5 lbs . Horrible experience every time and will not be going back . I have used petsmart for years but this one is horrible

I honestly would rate this grooming department a Z E R O! They don't deserve anything higher. Horrible customer service! There's one girl in particular who is unnecessarily rude and nasty AF! We've had a few interactions with her, and every single one of them has been horrible.

Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed in the grooming dept of this PS. I’ve never been really impressed but this visit was by far the worse. I didn’t find the staff to be friendly. I paid $100 for a bath/nail trim and furminator for a 4 mo old Golden Retriever. Everywhere he goes, people flock to him and are happy when they see him. I didn’t feel the staff had any interest in having him there. When I picked him up, there was no communication on his visit, recommendations or request to book another visit. Also, after doing some research, I saw that Goldens should go to a professional if using a furminator... His fur was frizzy in places. And shedding just as bad as when I brought him in. I absolutely didn’t see the value nor any reason to return. Too much competition in the area to go back.Google won’t let me write two separate reviews on the different experiences I had so I need to say the my training experience was much better. Jessica was patient, friendly and I felt she really knew what she was doing. I may go back for advanced when he’s ready.

Everytime I go to PetSmart they are out of food for my cat!! EVERY TIME!! If you have a cat that likes/eats Fancy Feast(paté),9 out of 10 you WON'T get it here!! They have a whole LONG BIG ISLE of them, and they are empty only a few grilled cans, which my cat hates!! They are good with having treats for cats..but try to catch them when they are running their sales, b/c PetSmart is the highest in price out of all pet stores..So, I hope I helped even though I don't know about the dog foods, I am sure they are pricey though! Have a Great Day!😇😊😻P.S.) I am NOT a cat woman with cats EVERYWHERE..🤣..I have 1 inside Calico cat( The one below in the photo that's in a box), The others are stray cats.. I feed them, well, because they have to eat also!!🤷🏼‍♀️😁🌻

Very disappointed, is actually very sad to even go in there every time I go in there they always got A LOT of dead fish and they always got more and more every time we go there and not just that their fish never look in good conditions always got broken fins kinda looks they don’t even feeding them. they have to eat the dead fish we saw a lot of fish bones in there too it’s just very sad too see this in a place like this. PetSmart= funeral Home. Sorry to say it like that but it’s true.

My golden had an ear that had some gunk in it. I asked for ear wash and treats. The kind lady found both for me and rang me out. This team knows their store and provides amazing customer service. I will be coming back for all my puppy supplies.

There is a female employee who looks to be around 30-40 years old who is actively on meth or some drug that is ringing customers up wrong. Extremely unprofessional to have some high and in charge of money. Feels uncomfortable to be around it.

Love getting my dogs nails done here every dog groomed here looks fantastic and they leave happy but afraid only place my dog not scared to go since puppy formula shots flea pills any toys snacks everything dog strollers everything your one stop shop

Great store, friendly staff. If you need it, they've got it!! We're currently attending the 6 week dog training course (Thursdays @ 7p.m.) and it's an amazing class with a very loving and knowledgeable instructor. Our Dog , Stella, loves the store. Here's a photo of happy Stella and Mia.

I found the Slidell,LA store was nicer than the Gulfport, MS location, as far as the live fish stock they had on hand was concerned. I just wanted to stop in and see what their live fishstock looked like. To my surprise, the tanks were clean, the fish looked happy, healthy, lively, and ready to go to their new homes. I also didn't see any fish infected with ich or other sicknesses. I was impressed and will be back to stock up another aquarium at home with some of those beautiful angelfish varieties I saw last night in their store. Really happy about this because everytime I've tried to go buy fish at the Gulfport, MS store, all the fish I liked were either in quarantine tanks or if they weren't, they looked half dead or in tanks with dead fish just floating around and I just couldn't buy from them. But, great job to your staff caring for the fish at your Slidell, LA store. They looked great! I'll be back soon for some water babies!!

This was the most pitiful petsmart I have ever been in... No pets! They had a few fish.. A overpriced bird.. And they was adopting out cats for $200 a piece!! I will go to the humane society and adopt before. I will pay that much money....

The groomers here did a wonderful job with our pup! He was very calm and relaxed when we picked him up, and he has been so much more comfortable with noticeably less shedding and scratching. The trim they gave him also makes him look much less shaggy then he normally looks. Great results for a good price!

We love PetSmart! Our furbabies always find a mew toy to bring home. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love that they have adoption days. It's always heart warming to see a fur baby find its forever home. 💗

We got the top dog plus. His nails were still long and only appeared to have been grinded a little and he didn't smell very fresh. Not to mention no discount on Veteran's Day because it doesn't fall on a Tuesday, so I payed fill price and didn't get full service.

Great place to shop. Staff were very helpful and most pleasant as they gave wonderful service. The only negative was that the store didn't have one item for which we were looking. This was minor, because we were passing another pet store on the way home.

PetSmart is on point! I buy my dog's daily Joint Health Meal Toppers here and it is always a pleasant experience. When I am unable to go to the store physically they provide FREE SAME DAY DELIVERY which makes things a no brainer. The workers are always so nice to my dog when we are there in person and I never has any issues with getting assistance while there. I've been to other PetSmarts and have not received the same kind of service as this location.

The store is clean and you can tell the employees really care about animals. I ended up having to go back and exchange some clothes and they were so sweet and helpful . I can't remember the ladies name that waited on me . I wish I could cause she was just so amazing. They were so busy and had a line and I felt so horrible for holding them up, but she was just so patient and assured me it was okay and got me taken care of . I love this place so much !!

I'm new to New Orleans and made an appointment and dropped my 3 year old mini dachshund off for a bath and nail trim and they called me and said she was "too stressed to do any services" This is a tiny puppy....who's never had an issue with grooming, EVER. I literally cannot understand what they did to cause that. I wonder what their kennel looks like and what they did behind that swinging door. She was shaking and whining when I picked her up and she just doesn't act like that. I'm crushed that my pup went through this.

A bit pricey,... The same dog food they carry can be found either with the tractor supply or Walmart for more reasonable prices. But if you like to shop at a designer named store for your dog this would be the place to go.
