Greatest experience of my life thus far. The food was excellent, the service was impeccable. I would recommend to anyone who enters the wonderful town of Simmesport. If you have passing though you have to stop. A MUST DO. Glad to mark this one off the bucket list, but I'm ready to return. Abby needs a raise.Dietary restrictions: great

Food was pretty good and prices were very affordable. I had the philly with waffle fries and fried okra and my wife had a baked potato with ham and chicken. Everything was good but could have used a little Toneys. Philly had very good flavor with good cheese but bun was a little disappointing. Closer to a hot dog bun than a classic hoagie bun

Just order from Rabalais. Saving you from being annoyed…Waist of money. The flavors of the fries where like they may have had freezer burn. The shrimp were gooey.I ordered the shrimp seafood platter. Which comes with a dozen fried or grilled shrimp, a side, salad and toast. They forgot my salad and gave me 11 shrimp

The food was great! I had the loaded tots..which was tater tots with melted cheese, sour cream, jalapeños (I took off) and best part of all BBQ pulled pork piles on top...VERY FILLING AND VERY YUMMY! My husband had yhe shrimp platter and the shrimp were HUGE! He couldn't eat it all had plenty to bring home. It also came either hush puppies, choice of potato and choice of salad or coslaw. And my 6 yr old daughter had the personal sized cheese pizza and she was super impressed and didn't leave a bite on her plate! 10 out of 10 experience and we will definitely be going back because there are plenty of other entrée that we wanna try...

Ordered food for the family and was all bad - hush puppies were hard and black, shrimp was not good - old grease and the fries were old and greasy as well. Ordered over $60 worth of food and had to throw 75% of it away. I wish I would have looked at the food before leaving. I’ve ordered from them before when visiting and the food was good. This time they gave me all bad food - the way it looked should not have served that to any customer.

The food was delicious!!!! BUT, the floors were not swept, food and debris under all the tables. Also had flies buzzing around us the whole time. Server brought out one drink and about 15 minutes later brought the appetizer, forgot the other drinks. And we ordered the shrimp baskets but we were given shrimp platters so that increased the bill considerably...

I went here with some friends, we were there for fifteen minutes and no one waited on us. Then a couple came in and was greeted at the door seated and served buy a young lady that deliberately ignored us. Then another woman came out to take our order. We were the first patrons to come in that day, but received our order after everyone else. The whole experience was bazaar.

This place doesn't even deserve one star!! This place is probably only open for business because there is nothing else that folks can choose from besides one or two other places to eat at in this town. They gave the absolute worst service I have ever had the displeasure of receiving and the food was not good especially for the price we paid for it. Not to mention the establishment was SO dirty. There was only one table of guests when we arrived but every table was dirty and no one made any effort to clean any of the tables and certainly didn't bother to clean ours when we decided to finally find a semi clean table to seat ourselves at. We were just hungry, tired of traveling and looking for a good meal and a clean spot to relax at for a short time. Believe me, it was the shortest rest stop we have ever taken!!!

The food is great I will say that . Their blt is delicious however it's like it is made with bacon bits. Never seem to have full thick slices of bacon on the sandwich . One particular waitress has an attitude problem. Getting refill is like asking for her first born child. And when she does refill it. It comes with an attitude

😢They we're rude and racists towards me. All I did was ask for Boudin and they all looked at me badly. This is the third time this has happened. If they are that rude to black people imagine what they might do to your food, your service or anything like that! Im upset and want to file a complaint! It's not fair and I did nothing! I was polite and everything. But they were extremely rude to me and I don't think they like black people. If anyone knows how to report things like this, please tell me.

The servers are teenagers with little to no training , I had the surf & turf ,they told me you it's ok substitute the choice of potato or fries for coleslaw then charge extra ,the bathroom could use a good cleaning , in general it very Podunk I'll not stop there again.

Spend 20$ for a rare steak... it shouldn't arrive medwell.. Waitress never checked back. Forgot salad. Bad training overall. Food is ok... service not so ok.
