Great people, very helpful and friendly staff. Surprisingly great prices and selection. Was looking for something for a plumbing problem, and not only did they have it (Home Depot, Lowe's and several other local "Hardware" stores didn't), but they had what I needed for 1/2 the price of the one other place that did have it. Not a bit of difference in quality/other considerations, just plain great pricing.

I rarely go in this store , usually go to Lowe's or Home Depot. Quess it really depends on what you are looking for .I'm actually surprised they are still open for business. Back in the day before stores like Lowe's & Home Depot this was the place to go for lumber and building supplies at their original location.

Always a good place to shop. They carry a wide variety of things. I found out today that they sell mattresses. I was pleasantly suprised. I even saw some cowboy hats. The workers are friendly and helpful. Its my go to place for household needs.

I was going there to buy very specific screws that I couldn't find at a better known box store. Not only did the have the screws I needed, the sold them individually so I didn't have to buy entire box or bag of screws. You never know what you will find there that is new, like the mattresses they had for sale the last time I went there.

You can browse around the store & just look. I found a nice kitchen faucet. Hoping it will fit my needs as well as look good. I thought price was good. Checked furniture..lots of nice recliners, couches, bedding-mattress', really good prices. I saw Ashley brand. Less $ here. Bought a couple sets of memory gel pillows. Gifts for kids, hunting gear, dog beds & so much more. Check them out.

Don’t open at 7am as stated online and on their door. Needed materials for a job first thing in the morning showed up at 7 o’clock waited until 710 and they never opened the doors. Also tried calling and got no answer. Started to leave and a lady pulled up and went and unlocked the door and went in so I went and tried to go on in but she locked the door behind her and would not answer the door.

It was horrible. The 2 employees I dealt with were rude and very slow. I waited for assistance for almost 30 minutes and 3 pages later a lady finally appeared. Come to find out she was only 2 isles over sitting down sleep.The item I was there to get stated online that the store had several in stock as of opening this morning but I get to the store they don't have any at all. Wouldn't even give me a smaller item for the advertised price or a rain check, nothing at all. I will not be doing business there at all in the future.

Always a good experience at this store. I was going to pick up some taping and mud material. First I was at lowes then I thought abt this store to compare prices and I saved so much money. There were two employees that suggested certain material I wasn't awherre of. I really enjoyed my experience as I always do. Friendly helpful workers and always clean.

The older white guy in customer service was so rude i spent nearly $500 dollar on material and lost my receipt i tried ti return two small bottles oftexture for a store credit so i could buy more material he told me no and just walked off while i was still talking i wouldnt spend another nickel in that Store and now on ill try my best to keep anybody i know from shopping there

On Tue, Aug 23, 2016 at approximately 3:30pm...The female cashier with the deep black hair, dark black heavy gothic-like eyeliner (no offense, just describing), and fake eyelashes was very rude. Her customer service was awful! She did not say hello, stated the total with an attitude, & handed off the receipt all the while looking angry. If you do not like your job, then go someplace else to work, but scaring off customers with your nasty attitude & lack of common curtesy will get you NOWHERE & you will continue to bare that unhappy face you so greatly display! On a positive note...there are other employees whom I've encountered to be nice and helpful such as the older short white male. They need to get rid of that thing at register!

Southerlands has a great selection at an affordable price. The bonus is the home furnishing area. The only downside is that I hoped their lumber price would be lower. Other than that I'd rather come here than the big box stores.

Great prices but every appliance I have bought only lasted around a year, this include a washer, dryer and hot water heater all lasted less than 2 years.

Like any D.I.Y.er the more you know about the problem the accuracy of the solution is better. They will "point" you in the right direction but ultimately you have to take on the task. Great Store.

I love southerlands,but I wish they werent in such a high crime area. The day after we went there , there was a shooting just down the street, and thats not unusual at all. My wife and I both carry concealed (legally) whenever we go there.

Finished getting items needed and went to check out. Staff behind counter act as though I was disturbing them. Did not acknowledge me or when finished thanked me for shopping. Have revolving credit but is seriously thinking about destroying card.

The store seems big Dusty and unorganized at first glance, but after coming here a few times I come to appreciate the lay of things as well as how fast you can get in and out of there.
