This company has awesome employees working for them. I had a rodent problem. One of the top administrators came out and investigated the problem. After his walk through he said he will do whatever it takes to fix the problem. One of the technicians showed up ask questions about the problem made his evaluation and said I have some things I'm going to put out to make sure this problem is taken care of. He said I will be back often to make sure its working. He kept his word. I haven't seen much activity since the top administrator and the technician came out. Thank you for caring!!

I work at the hospital, so shifts are all over the place. When I made an appointment the first time, I had to reschedule because I had to cover a shift that was given to me. This happened twice. Orkin rescheduled it for me like 6 times. To dates and times I did not even ask for. So when I finally could get an appointment, I was called by Orkin and told I needed to stop rescheduling and that they wouldn't be able to honor anymore rescheduling. I said okay, Dec 8 at 12pm for AN INSPECTION was doable and I MADE SURE someone would be there even if I had to work, which I did. I got a message from Orkin the night before that my appointment for Dec 8 at 8am (not what we agreed on) was verified. Come Dec 8, at 9am someone comes to the house and just starts spraying. When we asked about the inspection, they say the inspection should have happened before he got there and that the inspector should be here at 12pm. No one shows at 12pm or at all for the rest of the day.I want to make it very clear that I will not pay for orkin's services if they are not doing what I asked for. My parents use Orkin in the Houma/Thibodaux area and I understand these are different people. But I wish the standards were at least the same.

UPDATE: We still are seeing roaches, even during the day. Every company I have spoken to stated that it shouldnt take over 2 months to clear a roach problem. But yet here we are still seeing roaches with ORKIN. Very disappointed and if I wouldnt be charged to cancel early I would. But I will not be continuing service after the contract is up because I am extremely unhappy with the service they have provided and the lack of caring about this issue from the service tech. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE OR RECOMMEND ORKIN.I am extremely disappointed in the service we have received since june 2019. We had orkin back in 2016-2017 for an ant issue, the tech came out put baits out and cleared the problem up and service was good. But when we restarted service in june 2019 while my husband (at the time) was deployed for a roach issue the rep on the phone said that they could fix the problem and come put out baits, put stuff in the walls, cracks/crevices to get rid of them. When the tech came out (andrew) he said that the reps on the phone were misinformed and all he needed to do was the typical spray inside/out every 2 months. Well here we are in march of 2020 and the problem has only gotten worse. And andrew doesnt seem to care. It took a month of messaging him to get him back out for an in between treatment....which after begging for a month for him to come back it oddly fell on a regular scheduled spray time. I tried to get him out in between treatment because we are now finding roaches of varying sizes. The house is kept clean and it's only gotten worse. Andrew said it's because service inside was refused several times, but he knows my now exhusband works over nights and sleeps during the day (for obvious reason) and Andrew stays scheduling service between 10-12 when its convenient for him not the customer. So it's not that we have refused inside service it's because my exhusband who works over night is asleep when andrew comes.....that's on andrew for not checking with the customer to make sure the time that ANDREW schedules the appt for works for his customer. I feel like our money has been wasted and now if we cant get a different tech who will actually help us get rid of this issue we will end up paying even more to another company that will. Andrew was very rude in a text to me saying roaches cant be cleared up OVERNIGHT.......Its been almost A YEAR.....that's not over night. I'm extremely upset and disappointed in my service from orkin.

Technicians arrived on time and introduced themselves. (Taylor and Daniel). They explained the purpose of their visit and answered all my questions as we walked around the exterior of my house. They explained the difference in some of the types of ants (red, odorous, and Argentine) and flying insects while treating a couple ant beds.

Encourages old people to spend tens of thousands on insulation that is not needed. All they did was drop off rat traps and not check the attic, very lazy. I did more to reduce the rat issue. I will be checking into another termination pest control company when needed.Service: Rodent extermination
