Update:I wrote my review to warn people what they can get into. I got a call a week later from the supposed “owner” yelling and confronting me about the review I left. She is very confrontational and bossy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. GO TO ANOTHER GROOMER. We’ve been going here four years and she got an attitude because I left one review on her employees service. Maybe if she put that energy into her employees, she’d stop getting bad reviews. I’m glad she’s shown her true colors though, so we can spend money with the competition.We’ve been going here for quite a while. We’ve had issues before. Some of those issues is 1) They will spray your dog with perfume and pretend to have washed it. 2) Sometimes the haircut is uneven, honestly I don’t know if they are training new people to cut the dogs, but it’s not a good cut at all. Either that or they don’t care. 3) Before you see the dog, they ask for a tip. This time I said yes, but I wish I didn’t. This is what my dog looks like:Yes it took 7 hours for this. I’ve tried to be understanding but this is unacceptable. I know they can do better bc I have seen them do better, but honestly it’s a hit or miss.

Being a previous customer a few years back I was delighted to take my pup to get groomed. My boyfriend and I came to get him and they had him in the back cause he was barking and whining… so were the other seven plus dogs there. While on the way home I noticed that his face was super choppy. I was thinking maybe it was cause his wave was out the window. I was wrong. I asked for him to be cut short all over and he had this big head little body thing going. If you’re going to tell me he did well then why the choppy face cut? I also asked when cutting the nails to make sure they were not so sharp. They still were super long and bad. So think sadly I’m going to have to find him another place. They have my baby a Mohawk and it was the cutest thing ever.. Chester has been going since birth and he’s always excited to jump out of the car.. I think that shows they are great with dogs..

This was my first visit with my Standard Poodle. She was groomed in three hours and looks fantastic! She is a laid back dog and seemed perfectly happy and content when I picked her up. They did an exceptional job on her. We'll be back! Both my brothers use Luxury Grooming regularly. They have 9 dogs between the two of them. All get groomed there.

The staff was quite friendly and attentive. My dog had mats and PETSMART refused to groom him and recommended Luxury Grooming, thankfully. Luxury agreed to work my boy in the very next morning. Roman's cut was cute, given what the groomer had to do to clean him up. I watched the staff greet their regular customers, who came in behind me, by name. There's nothing like personalized service. I would recommend their service for the professionalism , care, and attentiveness that they showed.

Since I can’t reply to the owner, I’ll make another review. Like I stated prior, we’ve been coming here for a while (that alone should show the validity of our review). 1) The owner said we have never complained THAT IS A LIE. We have complained many times prior about Sox not being bathed (look at the other bad reviews). 2) I had an appointment that was set and I understand emergencies happen, but don’t wait 7 hours to give me a choppy dog (see the pictures) and then blame it on HIS COLOR. 🤣 We would've understood if you called and explained, not rushed to cut our dog and then pay the full price. 3) You didn’t offer to make it better in fact you called me yelling and rude about the review! I would’ve taken it down if not for your attitude. I have had Sox since I was 9 years old and this is the place that he has been groomed for most of his life. It’s sad that it has come to this point, but I’m glad to see true colors.

We took our dogs here for boarding because our usual place we use was booked up. So glad we did! The lady taking our dogs in was great, you could tell she loves dogs. We have 3 who are a HANDFUL!! The facility was clean when we entered, staff was great and when we picked up our babies the staff (I believe they were the owners, not sure) were also great and again, you could tell they love dogs. Glad we chose this place! It will be our new go to place!

I have taken my dog here several times. Zero issues. Good communication on what your dog needs. Price seems on par with other places.

Will not use this place again 1 and done!! When my husband went to pick her up and paid they lady asked aren’t you gonna leave a tip, his response I haven’t even see my dog yet, then said next time we bring her to take her to the vet first to get someone to calm her down, paid 150$ she doesn’t feel like she was even bathed and toe nails where not cut!!

I have four dogs, 2 large and 2 small, and they were able to accommodate all, easily. I have a schnauzer mix and I trusted their professional opinion on how to cut him. Hair grows back, right? Well, it’s been a few weeks and every time I see the little guy (and his three siblings), I am so happy with the cut. They took the time to consult with me, which I appreciated. They also groom in an open space, which allowed me to see them in action.

I wish there was an option for no stars. I would not take a stuffed animal to this place for grooming. I had the misfortune of allowing them to groom my beautiful Persian cat. When doing a sanitary trim, my cat was cut too close to the skin...not only does she have razor burn but also cuts to her privates. She recieved 2 injections from her vet, an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory. Thankfully she is feeling much better.I contacted the owner. She offered a half price coupon for future visits. That will NEVER happen. These injuries should have never happened.This company comes highly recommended and won 2019's best in Shreveport. Very few groomers will groom a Persian or any cat for that matter...even though I was told the groomer was very good with cats. She butchered mine...don't let her touch yours.

The women who work here are so friendly and you can tell they love dogs! I was very thankful they were able to board my dogs on such short notice (the day of). I felt comfortable with my dogs staying there in their care. The only downfall I found to this place was the urine smell. My dogs also smelled strongly of urine when I picked them up (including their toys). However, we made the best of it by going to the dog park so that they could have some fun before a bath!

I loved the caring staff. You can tell that these people love animals and aim to please. Whoever bathed and groomed my dog did an amazing job! It is not cheap though so bring your credit card 🐕. I do feel that their service is worth it.

This is the only groomer in town that listened to my concerns about my dog's sensitive skin and has consistently been careful to not irritate her skin. I usually contact them via Facebook because it's easier for me and they are very responsive. They do a great job.

The service here is excellent!! They love on my Mikey and make him feel like he is at home. He loves the staff so much it is always hard for him to leave. Their service is fantastic, the pricing is great, I know you and your baby will love them just as much as we do. 😁❤❤❤❤

Lets say that it has nothing related to "luxury." While on the phone seemed to be a great place, in reality is not even close to expected. Inside is very dark, dogs are in closed, dark rooms. They are just standing or seating at the gate barking and some just whining waiting for some attention.I visit it for my dog, and I was extremely disappointed and sad to see those doggies there. They told me they have a "large park area" where they can play. Reality, it was a large room with a glass window, empty with no incentives or staff members playing with them. Doggies don't good/enough toys or comfy mats to lay down. I saw some kind of drapes that was working as a mat on a concrete floor. :(Under-staff, lonely place, not enough lighting just entering the place doesn't feel right.Don't take your doggie there....they deserved better than that. Very sad...my heart just shrinks thinking about it. :(For the same price take them to Three Happy Tails. That is my expectation of luxury or better.

Luxury Grooming is a wonderful place. My standard poodle is always perfectly groomed - ears plucked, tangle and mat free, happy. Their daycare is lovely too! Walter loves his friends at Luxury - 2 and 4 legged. Sweet and caring staff that is always professional and communicates well.

Free coffee waiting at the front door. Separate holding cages (my dog not friendly towards other dogs). Excellent prices. Quick, really quick and definitely know how to groom. My dog had the works EXCEPT nails a little longer than I preferred. Would have liked a tad more furminating. Can be easily rectified on my next visit as staff are experienced and professional.

I worked with these amazing people for a period and it was amazing. Years! Of knowing the customer and their pets has led this place through any business obstical. I look forward to watching it grow and I love you remi you beautiful angel of an animal. There are some very smart dogs that often visit day care and boarding and then there are some that would drive your senses to the point of deafness. But when you learn the dog you gain a friend, and let me tell you I had a lot of friends. Thank you for the business to keep these knowledgable and skilled people at their best.!

I am so thrilled with Luxury Grooming and Boarding. I have an eighteen month old Charpit, PJ. He is so very hyper and excitable. He has never been boarded over a night or two at most. Luxury kept him a week and i knew he would be okay with Elinor and Cassandra taking care of him. He was and I will never go anywhere else, even if I do drive from Calhoun to get there. Lol

Staff is well-trained in both grooming and daycare. Unlike most kennels, there is someone there around the clock. The play time my pup gets while there has socialized her and made her friendly to any person or animal. We both love this place!!

Took my dog in a bath and nail clip @ 8:30am. Lady said she was the first to be done and it would only take an hour or so. Went back at 10am and they haven't been her spa day at all. Then twenty minutes later I received a call stating that they were done. I could tell her nails were half a$$ clipped but couldn't tell that they bathed her at all.. So $46.00 dollars late I gave my dog a bath myself.. i wouldn't recommend them to anyone..

Update: January 12, 2019Its just not going to work out wit Lixury Grooming for my Gizzy. Gizzy had another appt yesterday January 11th when asked how "how much do you want taking off?" I showed the associate a picture and explained I wanted him to have a trim;, what the picture i showed the associate is nothing like the cut I asked for. Now picking Gizzy up from the groomers he looked amazing and no hair was out of place but today his hair is everywhere. My granddaughter came to visit today and said "Gizzy doesn't look like he was groomed he looks the same". Hair was only taking off his face and back side. He also has two large spots where the groomer started to shave him and stopped I have added e photos to your website. I thank you for your kindness and for to the owner and your concerns but this will not work out for Gizzy and I.Took my Gizzy to Luxury Grooming, everyone was nice and friendly but I wasn't satisfied with Gizzy's cut. On his face the right side of his hair was longer than the left side (very noticeable) until I had to even the cut...yes I was told his hair was uneven but I had no idea it was that uneven and that noticeable until we made it home. His chin wasn't even nor his front legs. This was a $45.00 hair cut however the end results didnt look like it.Our first and last time going to Luxury Grooming..."Wow, I just received a call from the owner of Luxury Grooming apologizing for the experience my Gizzy had on Saturday. I think it's so amazing that she would take time out of her busy schedule to call me also making me feel better about what happened to myPrecious Gizzy."I really do like the environment and how everyone made me feel comfortable there. After reading all the great reviews on line the day before that helped me make my mind up to visit this site.Thank you for your call you are amazing! Your voice are very pleasant...Gizzy will see you in another month ☺️

Nobody told me the prices went up. I've been a customer for over 8 years. We are affected highly from the pandemic. You want to go up on service for no extra service done differently
