In my opinion and based on my experience this morning at this store, if you are African American, don’t be surprised if you are racially profiled at this Kroger’s self checkout. This morning, I pulled out my wallet and pulled out $5 and laid it on the scanner. I then opened my change purse and hunted for the $.22 I needed to pay for the order (I purchased one multi pack of ramyun & the order total was $5.22). All of a sudden, a self-checkout code was called over the speaker system and the register locked. I could not proceed. I called the self checkout employee over and even she was confused as to what happened, as she saw I had the money out to pay. She unlocked the register and I paid. While I chalk it up to a barely-above-minimum-wage rent a cop in loss prevention, and not the store itself, I won’t be stepping foot in this location again. Kroger - train your people. I know I - and everyone who steps foot inside - regardless of race - deserve better!

Don't rely on this company to properly run a check. They blame your bank account in reality they don't have customer service representatives that know what a check is at 7AM. Kroger on mansfield road confirmed there was nothing wrong with my bank account because she had no problems running a check. Just be honest that you don't know what you are doing instead of lying so that you can show reasoning behind your stupidity.

I am giving this Kroger 5 stars because of their exceptional employee at the self check out named Ty. After helping me with my Kroger account, he noticed that my cart had Velveeta and rotels in it. He said "I think you're missing something in your cart". I was confused until he told me that I could get a free bag of chips, free rotels for buying Velveeta. I was amazed by how attentive he was and how genuine his customer service was. I wish we can have more Ty on this earth. It would have been a better place. I wish Kroger will commend him as this is not the first time I've experienced his amazing service. He saw us with our 2 year old one other time and gave him a sticker. On top of that, he is like the speedy Gonzales of Kroger. Fast, efficient, and helpful. God bless you Ty. I pray you stay healthy and that you have a beautiful life because you deserve it. I can tell how good of a person you are!

It’s very convenient and close for me however, I just spent a lot of money to bag my own groceries which I’m fine with but then the lady finishes scanning my stuff and tries to push me along while there is a handful employees to my right doing NOTHING but watching me my bag my own groceries. So if you just have to run in to grab something quickly it’s good but other than that, I’d rather not.

I gave it a 4 only because it is not as large as some Kroger's stores. However, they had a really good selection of food. I went to find different flavored candies for making fudge. I discovered this location has quite the selection in the baking supply is.

I stopped into Kroger to just pick up a few things, but that never happens because once there I see all kinds of things that I need. The store is always well stocked and I never have a problem finding just what I need. The checkout lines are never backed up, so I can usually get in and out quickly. I will continue to shop at Kroger, unless they give me a reason not to, and so far, that hasn't happened.

Kroger is super clean and the produce, meat and bakery goods are always fresh, employees helpful. You can't beat the weekly digital deals and store specials. The only downside, parking can be a bear and when it rains some of the lot floods

This is review is more about an employee than it is about the store. At 6:30 today I watched a cashier refuse to bag groceries for an elderly woman who obviously had health issues! After I and two other customers in line reprimanded him he began bagging her groceries. This is unacceptable and disgusting behavior. I did not get the man’s name but he was African American and had white polished finger nails.If management cares at all they can simply view the footage at the register at 6:30. There was only one make cashier.Really Kroger? Have you no standards? Clean up your act management!!!!

The store itself is pretty nice and usually decent service. However, I custom ordered a cake for my dad's 50th Birthday. The day I was supposed to pick it up, I never got notified it was ready. So, I called and asked, nobody in the bakery answered. So I called customer service, they transferred me to the bakery. No answer. So they picked up again and said "Nobody in the bakery is answering." And didn't offer any help. So, I was screwed out of a cake I had ordered a week ahead of time. Luckily, I hadn't paid, yet.

Why does every single square foot of floor space in this store have to be occupied with something? Every aisle has kiosks at the front, middle, and end, eliminating the possibility of two carts being able to pass thru either into the aisle or out. The aisles are already extremely narrow, why needlessly create additional traffic issues?Contrast this store with Albertson’s, which has a wide open produce/deli area free of carts or something else blocking up aisle pathways. De-clutter Kroger, please!

After the last storm there seemed to be gas shortage and some stations were. Raising gas price ! Not KROGER'S they had ran out of regular and mid grade ..only had premium gas and they were selling it for. The price of regular. $3.11Thank you krogers. :-)

Worst Kroger in the area by far. Almost always out of produce, sale items, and even simple things like parchment paper. Restrooms are absolutely filthy and dimly lit. Like another reviewer said, refrigerator areas near tofu are disgusting. I’ve also seen several expired items in that area. Always check the expiration dates - especially here!

Nice place w/a huge selection & fast check-out.*Edit* I will never come back here. #1 they charge a fee to pay a bill; #2 I feel like I need an advanced math degree to calculate my purchases and savings -- this is the most absurd scheme I have ever encountered. Read + comprehend the whole sign. Deceptive trade practices.Nice people. Great selection of items. But it's a headache. Not worth it.

Digital coupons are a bad idea. It's a pain but this time I forgot my phone. Casier said "I got it", and scanned a shoppers card. I asked if that was digital and she said "I'll over ride it." Did she? No. Lied. Youree dr in shreveport

I love this kroger! They have one of the best clearence sections out of all the local kroger stores & their selection is way more choices; I always find something new when I go there. Highly recommend PLUS since I always go when I get off at night, the PM employees are extremely nice and helpful

I’m sure a decade ago this place was amazing with the Starbucks and all but now it’s a smelly yucky mess. My visit was not the best and it was mainly cleanliness. Went to get tofu and the case looks like it has never ever ever ever been cleaned almost walked out. Target would never I’m just gonna start going across the street.

I would have to agree with others here, this place has no hours posted on the doors, on google it says they’re open until midnight; however, they close way before then. We arrived shortly after 11 and the lot was empty but there were workers inside.As a guest from out of town, this sucked tremendously as I am sick and needed meds and medicine and you’re the only store in town that’s “open.”

This used to be our go to for groceries, but thinking about going elsewhere. It has gone way downhill in the past year or so. The parking lot is terrible, shopping carts all over the lot, very few actually put up and ready for use in the store. Constantly out of items (I know that's a problem everywhere, but seems worse here). Some items they don't carry anymore, so options seem to be very limited compared to in the past.

I watched as the bakery waited on the lady in front of me, then went and hid and refused to wait on me. When they were called over intercom they didn’t wait on me, and when addressing them the sane woman who literally waited on the person before hid and sent someone else out to tell me they would not wait on me. Y’all I’ve been ordering my kids birthday cakes here for years…

Nice store. Employees are friendly and helpful. Never had a long wait to check out. Self checkout is amazing the registers are new and well maintained. Great place to pay your bills. If you use debit card it's no cost for it. My to bill payment center

Everytime i buy cuties or halos..they go bad in 2-3 days. Why?? I get them from walmart they last at least a week! Also..the premade salads are usually bad. They ALWAYS have bad tomatoes in them.. Why???

Convenient location within a shopping center. Has great selection of items. Stays quite busy at the corner of Youree and 70th Street. Has a gas station on site.
