At 8:00am my husband and i went to brookshire’s north market to shop and once we made it to the front checkout at about 8:30 we only seen one self checkout cashier and no cashier on the register. Once we looked over at Customer service their were 3 employees hanging out behind the counter on their phones. My husband had to ask if they were going to open a register just for one cashier to say 12 is open but no light was on and she was hanging out behind the counter once when we came to the front. Opening a store at 7 and not having a cashier on the register until 830 is ridiculous.

Meat department was pitiful looking today, meat didn't look good at all from hamburger to steaks to chicken it was all bad yellow green color, took a chance on pork chops and worse mistakes ever. Will never shop here again for meat. The pork chops looked great in the packaging but when we flipping them over to season they had a awful and foul smell and the color was pitiful. Don't shop here for meat.

Great store. But the Pharmacy is under Walgreens now and is very slow and seems unorganized. Am changing to a different Pharmacy as much as I hate to. Have been many times since it changed to Walgreens and it only gets worse each trip.

It's convenient and has polite baggers.The experience that I & others are used too has changed since my initial postWorking help is very short at the store. Very few people are getting help carrying their groceries to the car.Brookshires friendly service is not what it once was!!!It's always the same on North Market!! If anything, it is getting worse with service & helpful employees!

I shopped at Store #140 in Shreveport, LA (5-22-23). My cashier name was Rayshon. He was not pleasant. He didn't greet me. He acted like he didn't want to ring by groceries by the way he was handling them. He gave me my receipt, I said thank you. He said nothing and walked away. I don't appreciate the lack of when I'm spend my money. He told customer that was in front of me to have a good day. That person was non black. Not sure I will shop at this location again.

If you are going to have a gas station then there should be a gas attendant from open to close. The sign said We are Closed, this was on 5/19/2023 4pm. How are people suppose to pay cash for their gas? Or how are people suppose to get receipts for gas purchase? When the pumps don't have paper in them to print receipts. Very huge disappointment.

There always helpful from the pharmacy to the market. The checkers are always friendly. Update as of April 2022 the store has been painted and looks really good. However, now the Rx is closed on Sunday. Still my favorite & only place I go as well as my family for prescriptions... They are like familyThey even know my voice when I call in. Now when I walk up the the pharmacy or my husband they know to look for the whole family.11/11/2023Now there is self.checkout .as well as the Pharmacy mostly thr same ppl. However is "while greens " in is of Brookshires.

Prices could be better. Shopping center is not very appealing. The whole strip has deteriorated. 8/31/22-update Good sales going on. Store well kept and fully stocked. Bakery had fresh breads and pastries. Produce fresh and plentiful. Parking lot has had some repairs made.

I wanted to take time out of my schedule to leave a review for the manager Mr.Anderson at north market,Shreveport brookshires’ and Mrs. April . Their bakery location was closed when I made it , I asked for help and they took time to grab the cake, dig for a cake box and help make my sons day special . thanks for your great customer service 🤩 we need more people like you all !

I have been trying to get my son's prescriptions filled for about a month and a half he needs his meds but I get told every time they don't have anything for him and the people that I talk to are so very rude I think they new people that are a lot friendly I called one day and ask to speak with the manager of the pharmacy and got told they was not available and I got hung up on I will be changing to a new pharmacy soon

Not enough cashiers on duty. Pricing is slightly expensive and selection is somewhat limited. Cashiers are slow. Candy is priced high. I may visit another location as I was not impressed with this location.
