I love this clinic. I've had nothing but good experiences everytime I visit. The staff is amazing and they really care about my animals. I always bring in my cat Mustard and recently 2 dogs that are my moms. They are very thorough and go above my expectations. I always listen to them because obviously they know best and if anything is pricey they always let me know in advance before they perform anything (ultrasound, x rays, etc.) I don't understand some of the older negative reviews. I usually have Dr. Smith, and she is amazing. I love all the details and suggestions she leaves in my cats discharge papers. It really helps.

As soon as I walked in with my cat you could see how excited the vet techs were to see him. Their love for animals shows through their sincerity when they answer your questions and perfect bedside manner with my kitty. Overall five gold stars and thank y’all for taking care of my son!!

Ruston Animal Clinic feels like home! We recently moved our furry feline to live with our son at La Tech in Ruston, La. We had to find a new Vet, & we are thrilled we chose this one! Thorough & kind care, in a beautiful clean setting. The art is magnificent!

I HIGLY RECOMMEND the Ruston Animal Clinic. The Ruston Animal Clinic is absolutely amazing. Dr. Sewell and the entire RAC team have been nothing short of empathetic, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable! They have been so supportive and informative along the journey with our kitten. We truly feel like the entire team has been rooting for our kitten while on her long journey with major health issues, just as much as my roommate and I. Never doubt about your pets safety or well-being while they are in the hands of Ruston Animal Clinic. Dr. Sewell’s expertise has led our kitten to see a healthy life now. We are so grateful for this clinic.

They got my dog right in and surgery done the next day. It was wroth the two and drive there. They are supper friendly and walk me though everything very professional. I pray my dogs never need help like that again but if they do I know where I will go. Thank you all so much. She doing great!!!.

Dr.Marion Sewell and her staff have been our pug, Teddy, veterinarians since he became part of our family six years ago! A few months ago Teddy became partially lame in one of his rear legs due to one of his kneecaps becoming dislocated. After an examination, it was discovered he was born with this and that surgery was the only way he could regain mobility. Dr. Sewell performed the surgery, provided extraordinary follow-up care and definitely went the extra mile ensuring that Teddy not only recovered, but thrived and he has done just that! We now have our Teddy back and will forever extend gratitude to Dr. Sewell and her fine staff! If you're in search of a caring, passionate, considerate and worthy health care provider for your pets, you can't go wrong making Ruston Animal Clinic your choice!

They had excellent service and a clean facility. Thats all I could ask for. But in top of that, everyone there was nice. They watched over my dog, and even swung by after hours to check on her. They sent me videos and pictures to assure me that she was doing well in my uncertain times. I'd like to say that my dog, Harley is doing so well BECAUSE of this clinic.And the cherry on top is that the prices were reasonable. I'd give more stars if I could.

We love Ruston Animal Clinic! The staff is very customer-oriented and organized. Dr. Baker is our favorite. She is very professional and personable. She works great with animals. My first appointment at RAC was very expensive for the services and prescriptions I received, but there are limited options in Ruston so I scheduled my dog’s follow up appointment out of convenience. When I showed up for the appointment, there was a “Cash Only” sign on the door due to the internet being out. I find it incredibly frustrating that I’m expected to have $300 cash in order for my dog to be seen without any prior notice. Even if the phones are down, it’s 2023. Every single person in the building has a smartphone, most of which likely have a hotspot. There’s no excuse that I wasn’t notified prior to my appointment that I needed to have cash or a check.

Dr Smith is amazing, she literally saved my dogs life. He was very very ill and I called and they got him in right away, Dr Smith was there that morning, rushed in to see him and gave him the meds that healed him. I am so glad I took my little Bentley to Ruston Animal Clinic! If I could give more stars I would. Thank You Dr. Smith!! You saved my dogs life!!!

The team at RAC was wonderful from the point we stepped in to when we left. We were seen by the amazing Dr. Smith and her team regarding our calico mutt cat with some severe skin allergies that suddenly appeared.Dr. Smith was clear about the symptoms and treatment plan, and I felt she managed our expectations well.We showed up nervous about the outcome, but once your critter is in this team’s care you can breathe a little.*Extra points for the parrot up front that mocks your cat. They said when it sees a cat carrier it starts meowing. This made our day!*

Nice building, very clean (especially for an animal clinic), and the Dr was SO nice and knowledgeable! The techs and staff were very nice and sweet to our Lillie and her babies. They are very accommodating for urgent work-ins and genuinely care for our fur babies as their own. I think we have found our new veterinary home.

We just recently adopted a new fur baby into our home, and were anxious about finding a friendly, honest, and compassionate vet to help us take care of our four legged friend. If you are in the search as well, search no further. Dr. Marion was so friendly and explained everything we had questions about, she gave us her honest recommendations on how to best care for our pup, and gave us tips and tricks to help successfully train! The staff were all so friendly and I could tell they all really care for each animal that walks in their office.

They explained everything so well. I brought my puppy Dudley in for a check up and to just meet the vet because I'm new to Ruston. They were so kind and welcoming. The vet loved on Dudley so much. Also while examining him, she made sure to tell me everything looked good.

Very caring and informative! The vet who saw my hamster was very kind and clearly knew what she was talking about. She even called back TWICE to check on my baby! That means a lot to me and I'll definitely be using them for my hamsters again should the need arise.

Unfortunately had to wait over an hour for dog to see vet. Apparently 2 dog emergencies pushed back the appointment. However, I was notified about the situation several times. Once vet finally was able to see my dog, he received excellent care.

My family has been trusting Dr. Sewell with our animals for 10+ years. She is always caring and willing to answer questions. The staff are also wonderfully patient with my very anxious dog, who absolutely hates going to the vet. If I could rate 6 stars, I would.

My dog, Baby, experienced eye trauma & Dr. Baker saw her as a walk-in appointment. Dr. Baker did a great job of explaining what was going on with her eye, my options, & called the specialist to schedule her surgery. Dr. Baker checked in with me the day of the surgery & the following weeks. You can tell that she has a true passion for helping animals!
