My husband and I were on a road trip when we pulled off the interstate looking for a pet store. We found the best place! The store was dog friendly, and the staff was knowledgeable, very helpful, and so cordial! Cooper loved the treats and the attention.

Sommer did a fantastic job on grooming my dog Mishka. The staff were extremely helpful in explaining the protocol of the grooming experience for my pet. This experience was awesome for both myself and my dog. He looked gorgeous! In addition, the entire staff that was working were absolutely the sweetest. And all of them made it clear how much they love animals and their jobs. I would 100% recommend Petsense for your grooming needs!

I really enjoyed this place until I asked why things were going up in price ever other week, and was told it's because each store has its own prices depending on location. So basically, if they think Ruston can afford to pay more, they charge more. That's horrible business practice. Thank goodness I can get it all online for a lot cheaper!

Great staff. Many are young but seem very responsible and knowledgeable, and especially concerned for pets. Dog loves going there in particular and I am not even sure why specifically. 😀

I'm so happy that I saw the Tractor Supply sign underneath the Petsense sign. I now can buy my dogfood there and not have to drive all the way to Tractor Supply and they're only a little bit more expensive but it's worth it not having to drive over there. I'd spend more on gas.

My husband and I are new to Ruston and needed to find a new pet groomer for our fur baby. After our experience with the pet grooming service (with groomer Kristen) we will not be a returning customer. We are very disappointed with the grooming service and would not recommend Petsense to anyone for their pet grooming needs. We dropped our Sophie off for her 10:30am appointment and then was told she would be ready in 2 hours. We returned to pick her up after 2 hours and then was told she wasn't ready that it would be another 35 minutes. We left and returned 45 minutes later to pick her up. After waiting patiently for the groomer my husband had to go up to the front and ask for the groomer and was told she was on lunch. My husband then asked if someone could get our Sophie for us. When she was returned to my husband the hair on her legs hadn't been shaved/cut and my husband then said something and had to wait while the groomer did her legs real quick. Finally after 3 hours we finally took our Sophie home. After getting her home we found that she still had little patches/areas that weren't shaved/cut. Definitely not happy with the end result.

I used to work for Petsense as a Groomer and I have been grooming for 9 years and the other employees treated me bad along with the manager there… I built the dog Grooming shop up when there was seriously no customers coming in… FYI I would of stayed there if the manager named Mae wouldn’t of ever treated me bad along with a few employees… I loved working for Petsense up until they would cut my hours try to get rid of me by me training someone else and than them cutting my hours down to nothing… One day corporate will deal with Petsense and the rude manager along with the rude employees…

Super cool staff! The store manager is so sweet and helpful! My only gripes are the lack of sales from the company and the quality of nail cutting for the groomers. Other than that, they are my go to! Who wants to go to expensive PetSmart when you have this gem!

Petsense stocks pellets and pads for the Breeze system for cats. I think they are the only one in town that does. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price low enough on these items to keep me coming back.

Came in to get dog food for my pet. The young woman stopped what she was doing to show me different varieties and offer helpful advice. I also like that they offer sales on items. Good service !

The staff is friendly. I come in multiple times a week to ask about super worms and horned worms and they never have them, claiming nobody buys them. (Even tho I will always buy them)

The groomer is very unprofessional. She attacks other grooming businesses on social media and attacked me when I stated that the grooming part of Petsense in Ruston has a nasty habit of knicking the dogs with clippers and not cleaning up the wounds or telling the owners about them. IF the new groomer is being sure to let owners know that the dogs are being harmed (if that happens) then by all means good for her, but it is my right as a consumer to state my personal experience without being attacked. How can I file a formal complaint against this rude and unprofessional employee? She posted on a public forum and attacked a former paying customer.

Was gonna spend around 30 dollars in the store on a saturday. Didnt have change for a 100 dollar bill. A beautiful saturday and open for business and no change. Not impressed for a first time shopper
