I searched all over Ruston today for some shaved Ice with the cream.. Always a Summer Time fav.. I took my 2 youngest kids and my lil boy got the opportunity to go inside the shoppe and make all 3 of our snow cones. He was over the moon. And so nice of the guy, (which I failed to get his name) to offer it to him.. he is still talking about it.. Great family place..⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you for making a lil boys day brighter!!!#BoyMom

I drive here everyday I live in Union parish and this is literally my go to place for shaved ice and ice cream. The employees are always very nice and kind. I always order a medium shaved ice wild cherry light on syrup and they always fix it exactly how I like. The prices are very reasonable so I always have my $2.01 ready unless I order a large then $2.97. It’s the best I have found. I get my shaved ice and park across the street at the park I consider that my “me time”. 🤣

Update: We have been back a few times now, and everything has been great!! So glad that we continued to go back.Original post: I'm wondering if they are under new management/ownership. This is our go-to place for snacks and treats, but our experience yesterday was horrible. I ordered a fountain drink (which is on the menu) and was told that the only drinks they have are in cans. The pretzel that I got was soggy and nothing like they have always been. My daughter's Moes Mocha, which is her regular order, tasted like spoiled milk. She had to toss it. Overall, we were very disappointed!

Good service and great ice cream!! Loved the scenery and atmosphere of this place! Cant wait to go back! Plenty of seating if you want to get a big group together and get ice cream or fritos pies!

Very disappointed in this small ice cream shop.Employees were extremely rude, milkshakes were as thin as milk! Ordered a medium hot fudge sundae, she asked if I wanted whipped cream and nuts in it, I said no…she gave me a single serving of ice cream with hot fudge on it and preceded to make a big deal out of with her co workers!Very rude and disrespectful employees.

If it’s possible, I will give you zero stars. We had ordered nachos with chili and jalapeño and didn’t get the jalapeños. The chips are stale. We also ordered a chili cheese dog, but got a regular hot dog was just mustard on it. The ice cream was great so you’ll just get one star.

This place is serving melted ice cream! My kids love Eskamoe’s and it has always been good…until today. There’s a sign in the window saying that they are having ac issues and the custard may be soft. There were five of us and when our order wasn’t being called, we went up to the window and saw three of our five items just sitting on the counter melting (ice cream and snow cones). Once the order was complete, they proceeded to hand us five melted items. If there are problems with the ac/freezer, please close until it can be repaired. The Mailman did not deliver today!

This was our first visit.. The employees were friendly.. I got the Ice Cream Cookie.. Let me tell you!! That cookie was so good that I wished I had a cooler to bring home 5 more.. The ice cream was so creamy.. My new favorite place to get ice cream in Ruston.. You gotta go try it!!

Great custard! I’ve been twice since moving to Ruston. Very cheap prices and polite staff. Everything is made to order so the wait is a little long but worth it! I recommend the seasonal s’mores sundae! Good seating options with a bonfire on colder nights.

Ordered a concrete with extra Heath and it definitely didn't have extra. Hardly even had any. And then my pulled pork sandwich was closer to a sloppy joe than pulled pork. Had ground beef and everything. Tested like canned manwich and not BBQ.

Great place to hang out with family for a little while after a ballgame or other school function. Has a few food items here like hot dogs... not just dessert. The dessert was alright.

Got the banana Spilt, it was ok. Hardly had any bananas in it. Was mostly ice cream and whipped cream. Priced a little high for what I was expecting.

Yum, I love frozen Custard and this place is awesome w/ a large variety of flavors. No drive thru just walk up service but there's a cute patio to sit and enjoy your delicious frozen treat!
