Thanks to Danny Barrett- employee of Rosepine Louisiana Dollar General. I nor my family will never return to this store as long as this guitar hero waste basket still works there. This swine took the privilege of insulting me and my 18 and 8 years old daughters in the presence of other customers.....??!? Verbalizing his hate and discrimination with no remorse! My girls were traumatized after our encounter with him! Good job big man Danny Barrett who enjoys endangering the lives of others while pouring out discrimination and poorly wrapping it in wicked humor. You scared my little girls you coward I hope you live 10000 years. Corporate was notified but they like hiring swine of his caliber so say hello to him the next time you visit the store. Followed me around the store... not a great shopping experience. Nancy Joe threatened to call the police because my sister and I took pictures of each other in the store. She stated that the rule on the door said don't take pictures. She couldn't seem to find that sign when we asked.

Woman named Nancy Joe followed us around the entire time and we stopped to take a picture of ourselves. She told us it wasn’t allowed and it says that it isn’t on the door. We went outside to look on the door and there was no sign. When we complained about being racially profiled, she had already called her boss and went on to say it’s not allowed because it’s private property. Don’t go to this dollar store if you are a person of color.

They were very busy there must gave been 8 of us in line. He never tried to get the other employee to her register. She wasn't very far away but she didn't come help. Nov 8 2020: lots of customers but not to crowded. Shelves are nicely stocked now. The register operator did not hesitate to call the other operator up to her register. All in all a very pleasant experance.

I love the dollar store. I can remember going there almost 40 years ago. My mom would take me and we would go and get everything that we needed in one stop. Walmart and all these other companies have moved into town and driven mom and pop stores out of business. Places that have been in business for over 50 years closed up in less than a year, but not Dollar General. They have proven themselves worthy of our business and are slowly taking back our economy from Chinese businesses.

As usual...2 or 3 aisles were blocked with product to be stocked. Floors were filthy...This dollar general is without a doubt the worst run store in Vernon and Beauregard Parishes.

Can barely get down the aisles and 10 people in line to check out with only 1 cashier. When you finally do get an extra cashier and check you don't have room to push the buggy out because of everything in the way 🤔

They need to put more people working at this store. It's one of the busiest Dollar Generals I know of. They don't have enough help at night to stock and keep the people waited on in a timely matter.
