I observed that the staff was very helpful and caring to their customers. The store was clean and had a lot more food options than expected. Only wish there was any fresh produce. This is very important in this food desert of a town. No grocery store!

This was my first time ever going into this particular store but since I live right by it and needed something I figured I could run in and find what I needed and all would be good. Unfortunately I as a store manager myself was in disgrace when I walked in then once I started walking around trying to find the one thing I needed it was pretty much impossible!!! Freight everywhere, huge carts blocking pretty much everything in the store on every aisle, RECOVERY definitely has not been maintained in that store, the employees were not inviting nor pleasant to me at all. Maybe it is because I had on a Family Dollar shirt but that should NOT matter!!! I invite everyone into my store I don’t care who they are or where they work!!! It’s called great customer service!!!! The cashier didn’t speak to me at all not hi, how are you, did you find everything you were looking for ok, thank you, have a nice day NOTHING!!!

This Dollar General has to be the saddest store I've ever been into. The cashier is rude. I went in on December 16,2018 around 5 and my digital coupons wouldn't work now as for myself that works customer service I would have voided out the ticket and gave her another chance to re-enter. But do you think she did... NO.. she was lazy. No help. Everyone in this store needs to be fired.

This place here... so the place is a mess literally stuff is all over. You never know if prices are right because they say marked down but when you get to the register you are told different. I have noticed lately they have been cleaning up but still they have a long way to go. I think maybe it is the location that makes this place so run down. I’m not sure. The employees definitely need to change their attitudes and work on keeping registers opened. This place is really a hit and miss.

They have some things for a dollar, never anything I want. Most of what I buy here is cheaper at Walmart, but I buy it out of convenience (along route home).Update: While shopping for a few items I had someone hit my car while inside. The person that hit my car. Was on camera (internal camera that happened to see it outside) doing so after paying with a credit card. I had a police officer come out and do a report at the time. Two month +- 7 days I received a dollar general dog food sample in the mail addressed to me by name. I have never given them any way for them to have sent this and upset me at the time as they went through the effort to do this but not give the name of the lady that hit my car to the police. To recap, They sent me dog food and through them not being sympathetic to my situation or negligence cost me the damage to my prius. They (corporate) don't care about their customers, I miss my neighborhood Rouses.

We bought some discounted curtains here and I couldn't be more impressed with them, especially for the price. 😊 I do love a bargain!!

Has what I need, but never enough cashiers, always have to stand in line and wait. I've walked out of there many of times, leaving a full basket. Not too happy about it either.
