Great food. Have enjoyed everything I've had from there so far. Been driving across hwy 90 for years, and it's the only place I've found a blackened catfish po'boy. Most recently, I had the chicken and duck kabob, and it was quite good

This is a tourist dive. They have curated things you could bring home from South LA. Many road signs encouraged us to check it out. It was over-priced with things you can buy locally...for less. We walked through and walked out. Visit a local grocery store (support local businesses!) and buy many of the same foods and spices for less.

This place has so many goodies that I don't even know where to start! Cracklins, boudin, alligator sausage, fresh produce, honey, peanuts, shrimp and catfish, unique seasonings, cute crafts.. the list goes on. I had the smoked alligator sausage with I'm guessing was their pepper jelly and it was awesome. We went for cracklins but they were out and had a batch in the fryer so I'd suggest if your coming from a long distance call in advance.

Ordered burger, fries, water and chicken cracklings..Burger was NOT cooked all the way.. šŸ¤Ø bread was falling apart as I tried to eat my partially cooked burgerNo ketchup for the fries and my water was tap instead of bottled šŸ˜±As for the chicken cracklingsā€¦ HORRIBLE! They were WAY over cooked and fell apart like dry dust in your mouth ā€¦ all you tasted was dry salty seasoning šŸ¤¢ No meat just crumbled in your mouth and tasted like fried batter! First time ordering & my last ! Had a 6 hour drive ahead of me when I picked up my foodā€¦waste of $20! Had to stop down the road at a Taco Bell for something decent to eat ! Oh and they were passing out coupons for a free fountain drink with my next order ā€¦ yall need to find a new cook!

Stopped in after seeing all the signs along the highway. They have some interesting flavors as far as boudin goes, but the boudin is bland and runny. I may be biased because Iā€™m comparing them to the great boudin you get around the Scott, LA area, but I was curious about the gator boudin. Was not impressed. Will try again, maybe it was just an off day.

This place is a great stop on hwy 90, they have fresh cooked food, fresh produce, frozen meats, and lots of other things for you to buy, the staff is friendly, helpful and polite. The alligator bites are my favorite thing to get there, but you can't count out the cajun egg roll.

We stopped here while passing by and tried the shrimp boudin, hot cracklins, and boiled peanuts. The cracklins were pretty good, the peanuts were good too and had some spiciness to it. The shrimp boudin really stood out for us- smokey, delicious, with a nice snap when bitten into.

Friendly spot along Hwy 90, well promoted with signs as you approach. Excellent prices for fresh seafood. Interesting frozen items like Crawfish Tamales, Papa J's Boudin, Pork and Alligator sausage and smokehouse Pork Boudin. Fresh fruit. Inside, a wide selection of jars of local honey pure cane sugar syrup and jams, local spice packets. And don't miss the alligator heads.

Their meat pies and crawfish pies are tasty and not overly salty. Their pork rinds were good. We picked up a few groceries and other snacks too. We rolled up right as they were closing and they stayed open for us. My wife had been meaning to stop by forever. They actually gave us some free fried food as we were heading out. We'll definitely be coming back.

Had a smoked shrimp boudin... excellent flavor with a nice snap! Lots of interesting specialties in their market area too... muscadine cidar, pickled asparagus, lots of jams and more.

As a true Cajun from St Landry parish, this was the WORST ā€œboudinā€ Iā€™ve ever had. It wasnā€™t even boudin. Iā€™m not sure what that was. It wasnā€™t creole either. It was justā€¦ wrong. We also tried the ā€œboudin ballsā€ and ā€œboiled peanutsā€ - both of which were also strange. The fruit looked fresh and the people were friendly, but as far as this Cajun is concerned, their signs lining the highway were false advertising.

It was lovely. Fresh ripe fruits and vegetables. They also sell hot foods. I tried gator balls(not actual testicles lol), they look like hush puppies and taste good. They also have frog legs...Anyway it was a great place to stretch and have a snack.

Bought a bag of Cajun peanuts they was so bland and hard I had to bring them home and boil them for about 2 hours to make them soft and I added some crab boil to water for some spice

Great food but bring plenty of money because $100 goes very easily and fast lolDefinitely get the alligator sausage dog when you check out. I liked that Dat Ketchup. Would have been nice if they had chilli and cheese year round for the sausage dogs though.I will definitely be stopping here every time I pass from now on though to get that alligator sausage dog!

Everything here is legit and delicious. Plus the people that run this place are absolutely amazing! A must stop if youā€™re in the area. The Cajun meat pies, boudin balls, and strawberry lemonade are definitely highlights but honestly canā€™t go wrong with any order.

Good hearted people. Great food, skins, crackling, boiled peanuts, roasted peanuts and boudin. I stopped going to the airport to pickup my daughter and stopped again going back 2 days later. I'm a east coast woman born and rised. Retired Army living in St. Mary Parish for 22 years. Traveling the world experience all kinds of food I put this one as a star on the map.

This is a place you want to stop. Parking lot is big enough for 18-wheelers. They have some of the best cracklings. They were very friendly. More than one person works the counter at one time.
