This Walmart is terrible, and needs new management. They have a slow service center, they don't keep their shelves stocked, and often don't have their merchandise with price tags on them. I've posted a picture of their empty shelves that are empty week after week.Update,Nothing has changed. I went to the store today to buy groceries. Their credit card machine wouldn't work so I went to customer service with my receipt. I politely sat the receipt on the counter and the two rude black girls behind the counter caught an attitude and demanded me to "hand the receipt to them." I refused. I left the an entire buggy of groceries behind so I could find a manager. Of course, there was no manager in sight supervising the employees. I left the store and groceries and tried to call the store and there was no answer.A few weeks prior, I had my car serviced at their car center. It was a two hour wait just to have the oil changed, and have the battery cable and terminals cleaned, and they didn't even hook the battery cables back up correctly. They left them loose, and I was unable to get my car started a few days later. Don't trust them with your car.Walmart is going downhill fast.

We did our grocery shopping there which is always so so. But the prices are good. We went for a specific item that was in stock according to the stores website. Also in stock according to the clerks computer. After about an hour of trying to get somebody to see if there was any in the back cuz there was none out on the floor... Well it was not in stock at all, was upset about that. Had to go all the way up to the manager to get an answer.

This used to be the best grocery store in the area. Lately however, there has been almost nothing on the shelves in various places. Okay, wait a week, stuff happens! Still empty, if not emptier and more unkempt. What’s worse is that the app says there’s items!I recommend the Gonzales Wal-Mart instead. Or the neighborhood Wal-Mart on Airline or Hwy 42. This one will no longer be getting my time and recommend others do as well, as to not waste their time.

Female Money center employee 30 minutes ago refused to help me. When I asked her for change, she said "I can't do that" "I don't have the code to get into my register." THIS IS INEXCUSABLE. SHE SHOULD HAVE GOT A MANAGER TO GIVE HER THE CODE TO GIVE ME MY CHANGE. I WANT HER FIRED. I WILL BE COMPLAINING TO YOUR CORPORATE OFFICE. I TRIED TO COMPLAIN TO HER MANAGER BUT THE PHONES ARE NOT WORKING.

This place has become an absolute disaster. Is it the cheapest local place to buy food? Unfortunately, yes.Will you find expired food on the shelves? YES. You must check all labels now!! Absolutely insane to find expired raw meat and BABY FOOD on the shelves. Will there constantly be workers in your way stocking the shelves? Yes. The shelves will also somehow always be under-stocked or empty. I feel like an absolute criminal as I’m herded to the new self-checkouts. I’ve even heard staff make fun of how confused customers are about the new store changes even though we’ve been given virtually NO explanation, direction, or help with anything these days.And don’t even try to do pickup orders. They claim food doesn’t exist in the store and I’ve been able to go inside, find the “missing food,” check out, and get back to my car before my pickup order ever comes out.

This is in my opinion the Worst Walmart in Prairieville! The Customer service is lacking to put it mildly.. The employees use faul language while interacting with and amongst customers. The lines are over crowded and employees are on wandering around on their cell phones aimlessly instead of helping customers in need. I cringe when my husband or I have to run into this establishment during the evening hours because it is an even more horrific event. Corporate please hire persons that desire to work.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but felt I needed to write one for some very good customer service, which you don’t find a lot these days. I took my daughter to the Walmart Supercenter to in Prairieville to look for some jeans. She picked out a few but she needed to try them on. I asked the associate working nearby if she could open the dressing room so the jeans could be tried on. She said the dressing rooms weren’t ready to be opened yet, and I didn’t know what she meant. But then remembered that this location was in the process of being renovated. She said I’m not supposed to do this, but she took me and my daughter to the back to where the family restroom was and let her try them on in there. I thought that was really nice because she could’ve easily said the dressing rooms aren’t open yet and left it at that. Thank you Kami for your help and saving me the hassle of going Home to find out the jeans didn’t fit and going through the process of returning them.

Walmart + member lanes never open. Now that they have gone to self checkout almost exclusively, they still only have half of the self checkout stations open. All of the cart racks in the parking lot were full. They can't even get people to bring the carts in now. I guess Walmart will always be Walmart even when they spend thousands of dollars to try to get us to think otherwise.

Greeter tried to be bossy and hollar at me. The store never has items stocked any more which was their excuse to close each night. They don't honor prices on their site if it's out of stock but yet it's in several of their stores for a higher price.

I called Walmart because I left a bag at the register I was on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever picked up. There is no excuse for this. They keep saying your call is very important to us like hell it is.

This Walmart, I just... man it's gone down hill. I need a product that online said it was in stock. I asked a worker, sweet girl saw where it should be, it was not her department so she went for help. The manager comes over and tells me rudely she has no idea what product it is, or where it would be, or why the website says it's in stock. Another workers tries to tell her it's in back, they can get it. She quickly shushes them and tells me "IF THEY HABE SAID PRODUCT I COUKD COME BACK TOMORROW." Now. It was still day light outside. Not sure what her deal was, she never even looked on the shelf for it. We went and got it a CVS.Last week on October 30, I was waiting to park. There were several cars in this isle infront of me. I finally park in a spot in the back of the parking lot, I got tired of waiting. I am curious as to what the hold up was. An elderly old man had been waiting/was waiting to park in the empty handicap spot. He had his handicap tag and all. Why could he not park there? You see the cart return machine thing was BLOCKING the hand capped spot. The employee was on his phone In the cart corral not actually moving the carts. Cars are honking at this poor elderly man. I.ask the worker how to move the machine. He looks up, looks around honestly I don't think he had ANY IDEA what was going on. At least why cars were honking. He knew he was blocking the handicapped stall. He told me how to unblock the handicap spot. He went back to his phone and started moving carts too. Situational Awareness people. I do not think he was intentionally being rude. The manager on the other hand definitely was. Maybe just having a bad day. Taking it out on customers. Not the way to go.

A staff at the cashier was lowkey unbothered and came of as rude. Didn't greet me and also demanded me to put in my debit card twice. I gave her a benefit of the doubt. Maybe she was being ignorant to people who look different. The tone is everything and she didn't do it right. However, one staff helped me getting the product on the shelf. So I gave you guys 3 stars.

Bathrooms are so gross and the staff is so offensive and rude acting. Very aggressive staff and non helpful even when asking about where the restrooms are. The bathroom was literally the worst public restroom I’ve ever seen and when I tried to bring it to the workers attention the response was “oh it’s been like that” I will not be returning to this Walmart ever again absolutely horrible .... literally every bathroom is horrible even the family one.... the pictures I posted are only the back bathroom and family room, I was soo grossed out by the one in the front of the store I had to cover my face and leave... water everywhere poop on the floor and toilet paper in the sinks ... the pictures are actually of the cleanest restrooms because the horrible stalls I thought would be to offensive to post

Don't go here. This place is a complete mismanaged train wreck. Walmart has apparently invested in the science of making shopping the most miserable experience you can have short of chemotherapy. There was one manned register for the entire store, and about 50 self check out kiosks. There was one poor lady to resolve the multiple issues of the shoppers. Yet there were about 15 other employees standing around having conversations amongst themselves, intentionally oblivious to the chaos and frustration of the patrons who Walmart believes have nothing better to do than marvel at the blinking red light above their heads. The coup de Gras was when I paid the kiosk in cash and received a little slip of paper with what my change SHOULD be, just no change. Then the light started blinking above my head, for the third time during me check out. The associate (the only one with an actual job description, apparently) hurried over and informed me A: the kiosks were for card customers only (even though they gladly accept your cash and no where is there signage to inform you of this) and B: Now o would have to stand in line at customer service to get my change like I was cashing in a winning at a casino. Great. I really want to stand in line to get my $15 after I just spent $200 at your store. After I received the gift of my change (thank you, Walmart, for your generosity) and was more than livid with the employees, the system and the entire brand, I was stopped at the door to have my receipt meticulously scoured to make sure I had not taken that extra can of greens I rang up twice but had to wait for the single associate to remove. Yep. All the things Walmart could do to make you hate this store, they have done to a degree that seems almost unachievable.
