Wonderful Veterinary Clinic! Staff is very Professional and The Veterinarian is very knowledgeable! I feel I am NOT being overcharged for the necessary care of my pet. I would definitely refer this VET CLINIC to everyone I know!

If I could leave negative stars I would. I had previously have a good experience with this vet. But my most recent one has me feeling like they should not be handling animals at all. I went in with my small ragdoll kitten for her shots. I gave them the list of shots she needed and specifically said NO RABIES SHOT. They photocopied the paperwork and confirmed they understood. We wait for the Vet who comes in gives her shots and then says she have her the Rabies. And we had said not to. 2 days later my sweet girl could no longer move her legs or tail. She eventually couldn’t use the bathroom on her own. We had to put her down at Christmas. And you will never get me to believe it wasn’t that shot that caused it all. Rag dolls are not suppose to have regular shots and the rabies together. They can die. And yet this “vet” did it anyway. I lost my sweet little Luna. And it could have been prevented had they listened to me. Maybe her techs didn’t tell her but you’d think if she looked at the chart she would have known. There is no excuse for what happened. None at all. I will NEVER return to this vet.

Had to leave at least one star to leave a review. I will not trust this woman or her staff with my fur babies again.My experience was that the staff is undertrained to handle uncomplicated tasks. I chose to cancel all future appointments after leaving. When asked about my experience, I gave an honest answer. Evoica (the veterinarian) then sent me a personal unsolicited, demeaning and discourteous email in response. Will not return. You get what you pay for… if you’re looking for cheap service, that’s all you will find here.

I have a very skittish German Shepard lab rescue that hates the vet. When I came in for this visit, I had my baby with me and a dog that loses her mind at the vet. The employees managed to diagnose my fur baby, muzzle and restrain her for her shot and send her home with a sedative for the next visit. I'm a petite woman and was dreading having to drag my baby along but the staff was efficient and patient with my dog and I. I love this place and recommend it to anyone with a spicy animal.

Client for 17+years...Miss Dr Luikart sooo much. Dr. Collins is cool but Barb was like the House of vet med. Main reason I remain a client is it's the cheapest option around, other than Dr Breaux. Both Galvez and EA are fine for routine visits and medications, but Cypress Lake is the absolute best for anything serious. Dr. Kulinski and Dr. Mouton are life savers. Dr. Collins advertises breeding a lot which is not in alignment with my shelter and rescue life but it is what it is.

I've been with the Galvez clinic 10+ years and loved the care our pets received when Barbara Luikart ran the clinic. Barbara left in the summer of 2017 and Evoica Collins taking over. With in a year and a half we have decided to leave. I was not impressed with my first visit under the new Vet, we went with our dog Molly in February 2018 with scabs forming on the tips of her ears (Which Evoica said was Black Fly bites) and of her allergy shot for itching which Barbara was treating for allergies prior to her leaving. Then in May 2018 we ended up in the Emergency Vet on Sherwood because Molly was bleening from the mouth, which we found out that she had a "cyst" growing that had burst that Evoica completely missed in February. We continued to Evoica for allergy shots until this past October 18th, when i showed her where Molly made to raw spots on her side; which she proceeded to tell me "it's a hot spot" which i had never hear of before (Molly clearly had never had this before either) for Evoica to tell me with out examining Molly that is was a spot that was itching her really bad and to use Gentaspray which i purchased that day to the affected area. Needless to say Molly's spots did not get better they in fact got worse to the point she had several spots all over by the end of December 2019. We looked around and read reviews and word of mouth found Andermanns Animal Clinic where we took Molly to on January 2, 2020 to find out hat Molly has a severe case of a Yeast infection all over her body, where the doctor was pointing out areas showing us that these were signs that she had a Yeast infection including the tips of her ears (Which was NOT Black fly bites, it was the yeast infection) Molly was put on steroids and antibiotics. Had Evoica fully examined Molly back in October when the first "Hot Spot" showed up which Evoica showed no concerns about "maybe she would have found Molly had a yeast infeciton". Had she even done a complete check on Molly in February 2018 she would have noticed the cyst in her mouth!!! But from the time Evoica has taken over, I have never felt like Molly really mattered when we brought her in!!! it was give her, her allergy shot and be done with the visit!!! I am so thankful for Andermann Animal Clinic and we have a two week visit coming up for Molly to be rechecked and I am looking for to hearing her progress.Karen Andre'

Wow! Great job Dr.Collins and staff. Our family had used Dr. Luikart since moving here in 2002, and of course I was a bit concerned when she retired. She was leaving some big shoes to fill. Let me say Dr. Collins did not disappoint. She and her staff have always been kind, knowledge, compassionate, and professional. Lucy says-Thanks y'all !!

Not very friendly employees. I felt like a number . Not once did they ask how we was or good morning and directed us where to go and the doctor was like " what this is a flea " oh no just her skin ! Lol . Doctor did a fecal test and never came back ,just the non friendly receptionist came back to tell us " I can check you out " . 4 week old kitten . Just saying .I was trying to find a new vet being we are new to the area with a new pet .

My parents took their new adopted puppy in to get neutered and the front staff were not friendly or helpful AT ALL. They asked how he did waking up from surgery and she said “all dogs have issues waking up from anesthesia”. Fair point but he’s just a baby and they were just asking. When they asked about the follow up care and if he had dissolvable stitches she just flatly stated “they’re inside”She wasn’t asking anything crazy or unnecessary. They haven’t had a new puppy in 13 years and just trying to take care of him the best way possible. Very disappointed in his cars and will not be bringing any of our animals back.

Dr. Barbara Luikart cares about your pets/family members. We've been going to her since she opened up over 20 Years ago at her first location. Almost 5 years ago we moved 30 minutes away, and still travel to see her. She has taken great care of our buddies and has been sensitive when it's time for us to grieve for therm.

First time ever bringing my lil Dachshund weenie dog here and I was completely satisfied with everything I even noticed my dogs demeanor and how calm and relaxed not nervously like she is with the other veterinary so, that was a big eye opener to me. The staff were FANTASTIC!!! very friendly and extremely gentle & caring whenever they trimmed my dogs nails. There prices are reasonable and I didn’t have to wait long either. Great experience and a very happy customer & doggy when left. This is a wonderful place to bring your animals with amazing staff. I highly recommend Galvez Veterinary Clinic🐶 🐾

I loved the way they handled my fur baby who hates to have his nails trimmed, they got it done and made it as least stressful as possible. All the staff was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I also appreciated the different quotes to see what would work with my budget. Highly recommend!

The staff is super sweet and helpful. The docters are awesome. My two large dogs love them. They always stay on top of reminding me when shots are due. They even have an app!

I went to this clinic because it was listed on my adoption records for my pet. I wanted to establish care and my dog was not feeling well. I made the appointment but when I arrived I had to wait almost an hour to be seen. The clinic staff did not seem to know what they were doing and the vet had to do her evaluations and do the front staff work too because it appeared her staff didn't know how to do the work. I provided records for the vet to review. When we were finally seen my dog was subjected to unnecessary tests and vaccines that he received just 2 months prior. The records clearly indicated that he was HWN and had received his rabies shot previously but he received those tests/shots again. When I asked about his other symptoms of separation anxiety & possible dehydration the vet basically ignored them and didn't evaluate based off my concerns. I will be seeking care elsewhere. I also did not receive the rabies tag that I requested.

Doctor Collins is amazing, she does a thorough exam and is very timely. She gives your pet the attention deserved. They groom and also do dentals all in the same visit! If you can't stay for your pets exam at the allotted appointment time, you can drop them early and pick up later in the day. Other vets muzzle my shepherd (he doesn't need it), they didn't even try and he loved them. All around great vet, I highly recommend this amazing place!

Dr. Galvez is excellent and you can tell she really cares about our fur babies. I give her 5 stars. However, her staff really needs to be trained better. They are not very knowledgeable or professional. Because of that, I'm deducting 2 stars.

All the staff is very professional and polite. They put your animals health & safety first. The whole staff treats your babies with lots of TLC. Mrs. Collins, Dana and the groomer Shaun are very awesome people. I would recommend them to get the best care for your pet.

Called and got in quick even though she was not my regular vet. She examined my dog throughly and even brought out her medical book to show me what was going on with my Boxer’s eye and then printed out information so I could understand everything that was happening. I appreciate her taking the time to make sure I completely understood my dog’s issue.

I've been taking my cat here for the past eight or nine years. The staff is remarkable. The vet is knowledgeable and kind. The facilities are clean. They really love the animals they work with. Their prices aren't outrageous either, and they are always willing to help if you have a stray situation that you need help taking care of. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

This seems to be a very affordable, caring and capable vet clinic. I also love the fact that they work with rescue organizations, which is how I ended up there.

I was looking for a new vet closer to my house and I’m so happy I tried Galvez Vet. Dr. Collins was great and spent time with us. The clinic was clean with a friendly staff. I LOVE the pet app that shows appointments, medications, history, etc. Icing on the cake-the reward points that you earn to trade in for services!!!!

When I had to put down my almost 18 year old cat down everyone was compassionate. Gave me time to grieve and gave us tissues to dry our tears. A week later I received a sympathy card with hand written messages from the staff. Best experience in my difficult time.

Dr Collins and her staff are the best! Great service and compassion. I take my 2 doggie rescues and kitty kat rescue to Dr. Collins and if you want to treat your pet to a day at the spa, make sure to do so. They will certainly appreciate the TLC they will receive.

This is for the grooming only! Had my dog scheduled to get groomed for about a month. The groomer did not show up so they called me and canceled my appointment. I called back later because the person who called me (before opening hours) didn't know the schedule. They could not rebook me because they were booked up and thier groomer was leaving after those appointments. It seems like they don't know how to schedule or care about scheduling anybody to me!
