The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. It is always like pulling teeth to get someone to answer the phone or just have my prescription readyI waited on hold for 45 minutes. My husband ended up driving there in the meantime and apparently the pharmacist decided to just not show up to work today so everything is locked down. They were supposed to open at 8, but the techs are hoping they will be able to open at 11. Whoever the pharmacist is should be fired. Clearly based on other reviews this isn’t the first time this has happened

I'm currently in the line for the pharmacy. I've been here for 30 minutes. I am 3rd in line and have been for the whole 30 minutes. The inside and the second line is closed. (No signs saying that) at least 2 employees inside the pharmacy jawing away about nonsense.

Walked up to couter to get prescription.I was left standing there at lease 3 to 6inutes. Three associates continued there conversations, work related, and just ignored me. One lady did acknowledge, finally, but continued conversation.

I went to drop off prescription at 8:10 the pharmacy said it opened at 8. They weren’t there. Finally opened up at 8:45. I told them I would like to wait for the prescription in the store I was told 4-5 hours. When i asked why the wait was so long I was told “because we just opened” I sat down waited for an hour they didn’t speak to update or anything. I asked on a status update and told another couple hours. I made them give back script. Took it 2 minutes down the road to Prairieville Pharmacy off 73 and they filled it in less than 2 minutes including the time it took to load my info into their system. Just rude people at CVS. Im done there for good!

Rude and insensitive to my swollen jaw. Even though I m in severe pain and in need of antibiotics they said it will take 5 hours to fill if they can get to it today. If not tomorrow. I'll never go back.

If I could rate them a “0” I would. Horrible service…every single time I’ve gone there which is why I have switched back to Walgreens going forward. I had my wisdom tooth pulled..went straight to cvs to fill my prescription at 12:30/1:00…she told me it would be ready at 4 or 5. I sent my husband back at 5:15 and they told him it wasn’t ready and would be another hour! He told them that he wasn’t waiting another hour and she came back and said another 15/20 minutes. Very illiterate employees working at this location for sure. If they are short handed they need to hire help bc this location sucks really bad.

Never answers the phone, the drive through line takes 30+ minutes. I’ve moved all of my family’s prescriptions to other pharmacies except one. That one is being moved tomorrow. Why would anyone use this pharmacy when there are excellent smaller pharmacies minutes away?

Pharmacy keeps telling me my meds are in when it's not. It's not even anything restrictive, just a face cream for acne. Pharmacy Technicians don't bother to check insurance and a guy in front of me almost paid double of what he did not have to pay if he did not say check his insurance again. Watch out! They might not be screening insurance through it. I'm about to transfer all my prescriptions away from this place.

Horrible customer service. I have called several times, and they either don't answer or take 15 minutes to pick up the phone. The one time I got them on the phone, they told me my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes. I showed up 2.5 hrs later, and they told me it would take 30 minutes to fill my prescription. Then the pharmacy tech acted so inconvenienced to have to type in my insurance information. I will never be going back.

Have used this Pharmacy for years but the last several months have been terrible. The staff is not pleasant or helpful and has been repeatedly late with prescriptions with no reason for tardiness. They recently told my wife they couldn’t fill her prescription because the insurance (CVS Caremark) wouldn’t cover it. When we called the insurance, it was because the pharmacy entered the information incorrectly. We are taking our business elsewhere.

Don’t bring your meds here unless you literally want to camp out all day just for them to acknowledge you. My meds have been ready but they never come to the counter to help you. They act like you aren’t even standing there. SMH drive thru is even worse.

Please, anyone reading this, try these amazing pharmacist at PRAIRIEVILLE PHARMACY or WINN DIXIE PHARMACY (they are so helpful, kind, and get your scripts filled efficiently and quickly). CVS is the worst pharmacy ever! I dealt with CVS employees for three days trying to get a script filled. The staff told me to call insurance, which I did. My insurance said we are active and good to go. Went back for a 3rd time to pickup on day 3 after calling CVS after being told it was ready. Again, I was told insurance had denied it. Funny how after getting it transferred to PRAIRIEVILLE PHARMACY at Hwy 73 and Airline Hwy, it WAS filled within an hour with absolutely NO PROBLEM. So thank you staff at CVS Pharmacy for nothing. Obviously, it is 'YOUR FAULT' that your staff doesn't care and are not able to do their job and refill a simple script.

After hurricane Ida, this store lost their refrigerators. Then only the drive thru was open. Today, (9-11), the pharmacy was completely closed before I was told the manager did not schedule a pharmacist to open. Sad...

Absolutely awful service with the Pharmacy staff. Would not listen to me try to explain that I had spoken to a pharmacy staff member on the phone and they told me to pick up my prescription at a certain time. The staff member than proceeded to talk loudly about how frustrating I was to the Pharmacist so that I could hear. In the end, I was told to "Speak less". I will not be using this pharmacy again and suggest everyone else take their business elsewhere.

I am an essential worker, I drive a semi and transport temperature controlled goods across the country such as food products. I scheduled a covid test at this facility to make sure I am not infecting people throughout the country while I do my job in providing food for this country. I arrived at the facility to find that procedure is to pull through the drivethru for testing which would be impossible for me to do due to the size of my vehicle, as I said I drive a semi. Upon contacting the pharmacy I was told that the only way I can get tested is to be in a car in the drivethru and they were not going to accommodate me for my testing. This is pretty unbelievable to me. I understand not doing this testing inside the store but why can’t I walk up to the window? What is the problem with that? How is it necessary for me to be in a car for a test? I am currently on hold with corporate to report this possible deadly oversight. For the moment I just wanna acknowledge CVS for their efforts in continuing the spread of covid 19. Great job 👍

went to get passport photos here, and they were later found not usable because of passport standards. when we went back to get our money, the store was completely empty and we had to actively search for an employee to help us, and they told we couldn't get our money back without a receipt. so, not only did THEY make a mistake, we did not get our $60 dollars back, and had to spend another $60 at the post office!

Before Covid came around the service was great. After Covid it is there worst I have seen in a business. There is never enough team members working ! 3 at most. That’s covering the drive Thur, front count, Covid testing, vaccines and the minute clinic. It now takes days to get perscriptions filled. The teams member are working there butts off while CVS is racking in 100’s of millions of dollars from guest and the government! My hat goes off the the team members at the CVS in Prairieville, louisiana. But not to CVS for being so money hungry that they are not taking care of the guest who chooses to do business with them!!

This is the closest CVS to my house, but it is the worst store in the area! I’d rather drive out of my way than to have to get anything from this store. I have all of my prescriptions here and it seems I always have a problem with that. And whatever you do, don’t dare try to print photos here. No one mans the photo department and the photos are NEVER ready on time. Terrible location!

It's usually pretty empty, so there's typically only one cashier working. That makes for a long wait when there are several shoppers in line at once. The pharmacy is always busy and there's usually a wait there as well.

Very slow drive throw and no prior warning given when a prescription is not in stock. Do not recommend and if you have to use do not use the outer most drive through lane.

The pharmacy staff is always extremely rude here and hardly ever has medicine ready when it's supposed to be. However the front of the house is always nice and helpful when finding things in the store.

Take 36+ hours for common ear infection medication and when it's ready they don't bother to make courtesy call. Now I can take all these if its for me... But when my 4yrs old is suffering, wish I can put 0 star!

Terrible pharmacy. The pharmacist are always rude and they never get the prescriptions right. Gave them many of chances and everytime I go, there is an issue. Started using a different pharmacy, never any issues.
