This place has been with me throughout my whole journey with making a reef tank for my home. I have learned so many things from everyone here. Not only do they sell great products, and great live stock. They help you with your journey as well with their own personal experiences. If you want to have a successful reef tank, you need to listen to others opinions, their stories, and thoughts. You need to make it work with your lifestyle and incorporate everything you have learned. If you’re just starting out this is a great place for you! If you are experienced reefer, this was always my go to place for supplies, fish, and so forth. You won’t be disappointed.

The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable! Although they primarily deal with salt water tanks, the owner of the store didn't hesitate to give us advice on our fresh water tank. And my 5 year old loved having all his questions answered by an awesome member of the staff. Great establishment!

Love this place! The people are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me immensely getting set up and moving along since I am new to the hobby. It has been 8 months now, my 75 gallon is stocked and thriving, and their service and fish and product quality have definitely had a huge part in my success.

Very cool place very beautiful fish and very well kept up or anything I don't do salt water I do freshwater they have no fresh water but I love watching the fish they're gorgeous makes you want to get a salt water set up

First time customer just because I just happened to be passing through that area and thought I would grab more members for my clean up crew for my newly established waterbox aquarium. Very impressive selection of fish and corals. Looking super healthy. The salesperson from Oregon (don’t remember her name) was so friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions and went out of her way to assist me. I will definitely be back for more livestock once my aquarium matures more.

Awesome stock and staff. Every time I go there's something different. Always stocked full of beautiful fish and corals. Everything I've seen is not just an average shipment, it's all top shape and healthy stuff. Easily accessible with an easy to talk to staff. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. We go in all the time. It is very clean, well stocked. The owners are super nice and helpful. My toddler likes to come in after karate every Wednesday and they are always welcoming and informative. They even tested my water for me once despite it being for a freshwater tank

Words can't explain how satisfied we were with aqua hut. Every single employee is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell they are truly invested in helping you. I must of had 50 questions throughout my time there and they answered each and everyone in detail. I bought several fish, several coral and some dry goods. It's a 3 hour drive for us but to get that level of customer service it was well worth it and we will definitely be back sooner then later. I highly recommend Aqua Hut, hands down the best aquatic retailer I have ever experienced. FYI all livestock is eating and looking healthy. Didn't see any pest while dipping coral.

As others have said very good customer service. The store is always clean especially the tanks. Very helpful excellent advice. The prices for all products are more than fair. Most importantly the live stock is always healthy. I have always had excellent luck with corals I've purchased from John. Also, I would like to add that all of fish go thru a copper treatment while in his fish only system. I've never had an issue with any fish I've purchased from Aqua Hut.

Went to this store on the recommendation of a friend as I am not from the area.... As soon as I walked in I felt like a regular there. Greeted immediately, the staff was not pushy in trying to sell me things I didn't need. Very knowledgeable and Their selection was plentiful and tanks were immaculate.. My children and I went to Aqua Hut to buy supplies and fish for our first saltwater aquarium. We felt welcome there, and the associates were very helpful and knowledgeable. Their display tanks are amazing, and we love looking around at everything they have for sale.

Best saltwater aqaurium store in Louisiana, hands down! I judge a LFS by the cleanliness of their tanks and health and beauty of their corals and fish. You just can't fake that. John and CJ and their crew at Aquahut not only do an absolutely fantastic job of maintaing their equipment and livestock, but they also are the friendliest, most helpful, and most knowledgeable people I have ever met in this business. Best SW Fish/Coral shop in the NOLA/BR area for livestock. Even better since the renovations... Wide selection of healthy corals and fish. If you want to fill out your tank with some nice corals and great prices, come here. They also have a nice selection of fish from cheap fish to high end fish.The store is definitely more focused on Livestock and Dry Goods. They do not have many tanks or other equipment for sale. So if you want to buy a complete tank & setup, it might be a challenge. But once you get a tank and need to fill it out with livestock, this is the place.
