Dear employees, (not all but most)Lets Normalize keeping a real clean, stock, and well organized store. Instead, some of them are having conversations about whats going on outside of Walmart and using Profanity around the customers. This store needs help looks like its going thru some Renovations but there is no reason for the store not to look Presentable.Oh yeah, not to mention a lot of food in the Produce department was not fresh.

Customer service is very rude and when you ask for the store manager they walk off as if you not still needing service. Called Walmart corporate and they told me to ask for the store manager but I wasn’t able to speak to them bc no one would call them to let them know it was a customer complaint. Very unprofessional

This Walmart is always lacking in products that other Walmart have. There customer service is mediocre at best and I find it insulting that your forced to check yourself out. Then you have 8 cameras all around you to make sure you are not stealing and that is insulting I've had it stop and show me an overhead view of myself scanning an item bc it thought I could be stealing. I would much rather a register with a person ringing me up. Instead of a computer that is recording your every move.

Zero cashiers working and the lazy girl over the Self checkouts shut all of them down while I was in line and other people were still checking out. There is no excuse for not having a single cashier working.

I see the Port Allen location gets a lot of negative reviews, but this store is leaps and bounds ahead of the Donaldsonville location.The Port Allen store's customer service desk stays open until 10 PM, but the Donaldsonville location closes whenever it pleases. Their policy is to be open until 8PM, but I can recall countless times they weren't. The Donaldsonville store has zero consistency, so the drive to the Port Allen store is worth the time and gas.

Tried delivery service today since I had surgery and can’t drive. It was an utter failure, the website for ordering says items are in stock and they are not. Out of 40 items I ordered I am not getting 13. Many of them are things I know they have, like onions and tomatoes and milk. I got an offer to ship a few of the items that would arrive next week. Nope. Almost all of my produce items appeared in a sub list that gave me the option to cancel them and no other option. Without my doing anything I got an email saying I had canceled them. Now I have an email saying the order is 2 hours late. I paid for the appointment and have to get my carer to receive the order later—when I do not know. If she can’t do this I guess the order will sit on the porch and rot until I can get someone to come fetch them inside. I cannot or I would have gone to the store myself. There are a few refrigerated items that will likely be spoiled if they sit unrefrigerated for hours. Phooey. Do not try this service!!! And certainly do not pay to join it. It’s just bad. I don’t know if it’s just this store, but the website is also bad.I tried calling the store directly to find out when the order was coming and to try to work this mess out. The automated message says to press 4 for delivery orders. When they finally answered they gave me another number to call. It does not accept messages because its mailbox is full. I tried calling the store back. After listening to it ring for 5 minutes I got that nobody is answering that either so I gave up.So when things go wrong, you have no way to contact them.Update: order is now 4 hours late and I have no idea if it’s coming at all.

THIS WALMARK IS IN A SMALL TOWN, BRULEY, LOUISIANA ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI BRIDGE FROM MY HOUSE. THE STORE HAS ALL OF THE SUPPLIES THAT THE SUPER WALMART HAS IN. BATON ROUGE, WAS EASY TO FIND WHAT I WAS SHOPPING FOR, AND TO SELF CHECK OUT.

1st off the low rating of 1 star has nothing to do with the store itself however, I wasn't having any luck with posting this open Letter without just sending it to Walmart, I invite and welcome additional comments about the subject of a military discount My feedback is quite simple it as nothing to do with the experience at the stores quite satisfied with that however as a retired US Naval veteran I'm appalled at the fact that Walmart does not offer a military discount not just on this Veterans Day November 11th 2023 but every day of the year like many other companies do Office Depot my local True Value Hardware Store, WhiteWater Car Wash, Airlines hotels just about every business other than the second largest business as I understand it in the World Behind the United States I am seriously appalled by the fact that you do not consider a military discount for all military active duty veterans and retirees. I've never been able to find out why you're not offering one. I know you offer it to your employees.  99% of the businesses that I deal with give a military discount, so what have you got to say about the subject of a military discount it Walmart? You want to let us know why you don't offer us a discount. Phones for deli/bakery not working and they are aware with no concerns. Getting someone to answer the phone is a miracle in itself. Is anyone working there?? Alot of workers just hanging out during self checkout. Store needs help

Convenient location, but even their self checkouts aren't always open. Yesterday was especially bad, only three kiosks were working.The workers aren't overly friendly, but they're not rude either and they seem to be in no hurry to do anything, really.Convenience is basically the only reason I go to this store.Update: today ,ONLY self checkouts are open, and the line is over 10 deep.This is wildly inefficient.

Terrible place i waited for 30min for someone to come open colonel case no one show up. I went to customer center to get some help and still waited 30 more min. No one showed up. Looks like they all on smoke break. Need to hire people that really wants to work and help people not just be on smoke break and get a check!!!! Never coming back to this horrible store!!! Just imagine if it was an emergency and needing help for medication you dyed on the spot!!!

They basically force you to use self check out, which isn't practical when you're bulk buying groceries. Saw 3 employees "watching" self check out, just horsing around and not helping. Poor customer service and ignoring customers that need help. I've stopped shopping here.

They didn't have any real winter types of coats. But I found a vest and a couple big hoodies for a decent price and it probably was better for what I needed just for the weekend and didn't have to spend more on a big fluffy coat. Found these cool dragonball Z hats. Which one would you pick?

We ordered online a grocery pickup. We received the notification of my men's cologne as being out of stock. I arrived at the store 30 min early to check and see if it was out of stock. It was not. I told an employee I wanted to purchase the Nautica that I wanted. I shortly heard an overhead call for "Someone to unlock the men's cologne."20 min later, after seeing no customer service, I went outside to pick up my grocery order. I could not purchase it online or even inthe store, in person.

This is my local Walmart store, I visit the store at least twice a week. Unless an item is out of stock [which is rare], I usually find what I need there. It is never too crowded or have long lines except during holiday shopping. It has a good deli and a good selection of fresh produce. It also has a pharmacy, vision center, hair salon, money transfer desk and a subway. I have never had an incident with any associate, they are usually polite and helpful.

If I could leave a negative 5 stars I would. Had an appt booked with jamica and drove across bridge a to port allen only to get there and be told she can’t do my hair. No reasoning given. She passed me off to somebody else-older lady with nasty attitude who huffed when she was given the task. Then gave me new price which wasn’t the problem but also update the website pricing. I didn’t mind spending extra but why would I when the stylists have very unwelcoming demeanors??? Very sad. I was soo looking forward to getting my hair done only to waste time and gas and be treated as if I was inconveniencing them!!! Yall need to do some customer service training. And honestly, just be nice. You dont know What people have going on in their life. I came in with good energy and left feeling defeated. I will never return. TO JAMICA AND THE OLD LADY WHO ROLLED HER EYES AT ME IM GOING TO PRAY FOR YALL- something is off in yalls spirit and I pray you can at least stop bringing that energy to work with you if not get rid of it all together. Its very ugly. Be blessed.

Not a single cashier open, had to use self checkout. Scan guns aren't working, so had to scan everything through by hand. If I wanted to work at Walmart I would. Absolutely ridiculous. I'll go across the river or just do without until this incredibly horrible customer experience is corrected.For the record I would have given 0 stars had that been an option, absolutely brutal experience.Edit: For the record and reference, not just complaining for the sake of complaining. My grocery shop was 62 items.

I have purchased three watermelons in the last month they were all rotten and tasted horrible. The produce leaves much to be desired at the Port Allen location. If you find something one week you just have soon stocked up because you will never see it there again.

I really enjoy the selection this Wal-Mart brings. I always find what I need here. Other Wal-Mart's don't have the space or the people, but this one is located perfectly. Only thing I can complain about is the money center closes at earlier times than plaquemine Wal-Mart. I need to cash my check after 6pm, so I have to go a greater distance because this location is closed. Otherwise, this is my preferred store.
