Their grocery pickers are so incompetent I had to go get some things myself. Come to find out there's black mold on some piping above the food. How is this place still open? And they knowingly put a damaged case of water in my car. Several bottles fell to the ground.Update: The money center is supposed to be open at 10:00 a.m., here it is after 10:00 and the lights are still out. When the cashier finally got here, she gave me an attitude for standing at the counter. Her name is Karen.

I hate shopping so I sit in the car and wait on my wife while she does the important job of getting whatever we may need. She likes it better that way cuz she says I'm slow and like to talk to much. So I sit in the car and do one off my favorite things in the world,people watching. Its interestingly comical, and sometimes crazy the different types of people you come across in on place. It's truly spectacular to see so many different races cultures religions from different social classes all come together in on place.

This review is not for the store itself. The store is great. Rather a very rude employee named Judy!!Dear Mrs. Judy we are from out of town and stopped in today. I'm very sorry we required your terrible customer service skills to help cancel a transaction on a card only self serve register. And yes we CAN read!! (Honestly what if the customer couldn't read then what) But again we are very sorry we needed your help in the first place.

Three young women, who are Walmart Associates, noticed that I was in distress, and that I was experiencing difficulty while I was checking out my groceries in the self-checkout area. The three young women were highly professional, compassionate, and charismatic! They were also very patient, helpful, and exuberated kindness! They didn’t see culture nor skin tone, they saw an older woman who needed help. As I am writing this, I am crying, because they restored my faith back into humanity, and helped me to realize that there are still good people out there in this world. Their mothers should be very proud of them, because they were, truly, Heaven sent! I commend these extraordinary women for going above and beyond for their customers! The Ponchatoula Walmart should be grateful for having people like these women, and others employed there, because it is not just a job, it’s a calling! A simple thank you is not enough to express my gratitude, but thank you!

Once I scanned half of my groceries while 3 employees stood next to me observing. When I had to scale a produce item, the scale didn't work. My "Cashier" that was watching says the scale hasn't worked in a few days. I said, you'd think someone would put a sign in it. She said, I AINT GOT NO TAPE. Then I asked another employee that was standing there watching, what you doing? He said, IDK, I applied for a Cashier and they just make me stand here. All this while 3 employees stand there. I think I'll go to the local store from now on.

No cashier at any registers but 6 were standing at self checkout. 1 even helped me scan an item. It was right by the door. I sent the receipt to my phone cause I don't like having unnecessary receipts. I walk less than 5 feet away and this goofy man tried to take my cart since I didn't have a receipt. Ummm not today. I held my cart and told him to speak to the lady that assisted me or the other 5 people (1 of which is the store manager) but I don't have a physical receipt. He really tired it. It reminds me why it's been over a year since I shopped at a Walmart and to never go back.

Never answers phone calls. Have never been able to get the automotive department to answer the phone, or the main customer service line. Lazy staff when it comes to answering calls, better off going to a different Walmart.

I previously used Walmart grocery pickup and shipping all the time, I started running into a lot of problems with items missing and unavailable so I stopped using it for several months. A coworker told me that Walmart has changed and the process was easy so I signed up again. I ordered several hundred dollars between two orders of Christmas presents and a grocery pickup order for the dozens of people coming to town to visit for christmas tomorrow. I was told today that both orders have been canceled and none of the presents will come and none of the food that I had ordered was available because they flagged my profile as fraud. I called my credit card company to find out what was happening and they had no idea what was going on and said there's no reason my credit card should have been flagged for fraud. So here I am a few days before Christmas, missing Christmas presents and food, having to last minute shop in a big crowd which is what I was trying to avoid! So was this easier for me... no. It actually is stressing me out beyond belief that I tried using this again. This does not reflect poorly on the store this is more to do with a customer service issue.#left stranded for Christmas

I've been living in Ponchatoula all my life. And all the time I would stress that I had go all the way to Hammond to go to Walmart. Even though Hammond was only 10 minutes away whenever the Walmart was only in Hammond the traffic was horrible. But now there's finally one in Ponchatoula and I love it. Now there's less traffic in Hammond. But the traffic in Ponchatoula is getting a little hefty. But it was well worth it

don’t go if your a young lady. There is this worker ( might be a manager ) he looks at females all the time and was giving pervy vibes. He makes females feel very uncomfortable. His name is Larry. He has a beard. He is average height. DO NOT recommend this Walmart!!!! I never ever went back ever since this incident.

My go to place for rotten meat, empty shelves and slothful employees. I just really dislike buying a product (when you can actually find it on the shelves/cooler) and opening the pack to smell roadkill. It is clear no one manages the stock or the temperatures in the meat department. The dairy department never has staples like milk, butter, or other healthy products. When they innevetibly run out it can be weeks to restock.

Went to get tires for my car and several Walmart employees were hanging out in the tle waiting area and taking up the seating space and talking about things customers shouldn't hear, do they not have a break room?

I would not do walmart pickup here they are terrible I only ordered a few things and waited for 3 hours And they STILL did not come out! so I went home I was done I did not even care after that but it was such a waist of my time I was warned by a friend how terrible they are so I advice you to go to a different walmart and not make the same mistake I made

I have found that at least once a month I buy something and find that it’s completely molded. It’s even starting to be in the shelf stable items now. I’m not sure if it’s the walmart itself, perhaps an issue with the coolers and stock room, or if it’s bad luck but it’s really concerning and sad in this economy to drop $7 on a pack of whatever food, and find it’s ruined before you can eat it.

Super-Walmart! It's like a superhero but a retail store!This Wally World is clean and has a lot to choose from like always. They also have a Subway attached which is really convenient.All and all it's a good walmart nothing crazy.

Probably the very worst Walmart I have ever been in. Employees are all in slow motion, it’s like walking into the twilight zone. Seems like no one wants to work. I was totally appalled at how the skinny black girl near automotive was allowed to be walking around on her phone playing ghetto rap, then stopping to take a phone call , on speaker, then listening to the language used? Just wow. What happened to Walmart caring about customers? Clearly this isn’t the place for that. Target has everything I need. Will definitely be using them instead.

Today I did a spark shopping app I get to self checkout scan the QPC code it said good to go so I’m getting my exit pass ready when Trimika the self checkout associate screams oh I need to count all those items in your basket which I understand the bad makes the good suffer but for her to say to me that I probably didn’t pay for the stuff that was in the basket she just insinuated that I was stealing when this was indeed a paid for order I was shopping through spark. Trimika was so rude and loud she caused customers to begin to stare at me I have never been more embarrassed in my life.. I then asked her to call the manager over who then searched my cart and every that I had in my cart was on my order list to shop.. but let me add why we were verifying the items Trimkia still begin to talk loud to other customers saying I was probably stealing I asked the manager did she hear her the manager said she did and she will take care of her later.. if Trimika is not taken care of you will be hearing from my lawyer I will not accept public humiliation when I did nothing wrong.,

I’m going to try and explain what I seen in the ponchatoula la walmart… I had to go in this Walmart after my home burned down and we were staying in ponchatoula la with my husband’s brother.. so this was my first time in this store!! There was only a hand full of people who were able to look at me in my face and wasn’t so loaded that they was trying hard to stand up straight, some of the people were just leaned over and swaying from left to right, I can only imagine what they were on! when I got back and told our family they said that’s America’s young adults in today’s society … this is the war on drugs….😳 it’s only when you are face to face with the world around you ..RAW, that you realise how big that the problem is and how small your problems are!The store other than this was quiet , except the store had the same thing repeatedly saying something to the effect of, that you were being recorded constantly while you’re in the store! Over and over and over … like a broken record!! The store was very clean and the employees were very nice and friendly and very helpful! I swore I wouldn’t go back inside the store again…so I ordered on line and walmart didn’t have 17 products I needed out of 25 then I went through the groceries when I got them inside and 5 of those items I had been charged for wasn’t in my bags!! It was very easy when I called customer service I was immediately refunded every dime of the wrong order it was fast and easy!! Good luck if you can go in the Walmart store and not notice the wild and insane stuff happening…

Absolute garbage! Had grocery pick up for 5-6pm 12/19 wasn’t ready till after my kids were asleep (past 8pm). Went there to get it today 12/20. I arrived after work at 4pm and waited till 7:48pm in grocery pick up parking. STILL DONT HAVE MY GROCERIES! Gas tank is EMPTY because I had to keep the car running to keep me and the kids warm. NO ONE answers the phone there. I asked pickup associates MULTIPLE times what the issue was just for them to ask my name, look at their device and walk off and continue bringing OTHER PEOPLES ORDER THAT SHOWED UP AFTER ME.

Newly remodeled, but stock in lunch meat, hotdogs, fruits/veggies dept were extremely low or poor quality. You can dress up the store, but if the goods are in poor quality, the store will not reach their potential.

This place has the worse customer service hours of operation!!!! 7:45am Monday February 7th and customer service has not opened. This is a daily occurrence and they usually close by 5pm. The Hours listed are 7am to 11pm.

Never Ever use Pickup. There is no rhyme or reason to pickup sequencing. You will wait an hour, regardless of your order. Meanwhile others will come and go.
