My chickens, my dogs but what I noticed lately with the young people work in the counter they not as intensive as they should be stood at the counter for several minutes. With two young people standing there, I had to excuse myself to get help. Other than that I really like the face because it's local

I went there to pick up some rabbits. One ended up being sick so I returned her. The staff was so nice and understanding when I wanted to request getting her back the next day cause I wanted to bring her to the vet and I just fell in love with her and felt bad for what I did. We name our rabbits Peter and midnight. They are two mini Rex’s. Then we have cottontail who’s a holland loop. I wanna thank the staff for being so understanding about the situation. I let them explore the bed everyday and Peter gets the most cutest and funniest binkies I have ever seen. I wish I could show a video.

Was kind of taken aback by the employees. We were in the area, so we popped in to get some dog food and cat litter. We were asked if we needed any help deciding because they were about to close. It was 4:57 pm. I wasn't aware they closed at 5, but they basically rushed us out of the store and were impatiently waiting with the door ready to shut. I should have spent my $65 elsewhere. Not a good look. I used to go there often when I lived in Ponchatoula. Not like it used to be.

I am a very noticeable trans woman. I am staying in Ponchatoula for couple months . So far everyone here has been super sweet. Just like the guys at feed and seed . Really nice helpful humans that had what I needed to kill BUGS!!!!! : )

This place has so much to offer. The facility is clean and organized. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They carry what big box stores don't. I will definitely be back here for all my gardening needs.

I love this place! This is a much more pleasant experience than going to Lowe’s where the sales associates usually know nothing about the products & don’t go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. They’re the only place I’ve been able to find the potting soil Baccto, which is my favorite. A 50 LB bag was under $8. And when you order any large bags of feed, seed, dirt, etc, you place the order inside, then pull your vehicle up to the adjoining warehouse where very friendly guys load it into your vehicle. The store inside has food, toys & gear for all types of animals, as well as gardening items. And the sales woman was very attentive & VERY knowledgeable about the products as well as the needs of all types of critters & gardening. Hope this place stays in business for a long time!!

Wonderful hometown shopping. Easy 2 get to n convenient. Like having your own personal shopper. Store is clean n well stocked. Staff is eager 2 help n store is well organized. They also have chicks!!!

I have been shopping with this feed store for a while and love all their products! Decent prices and the animal feed is always good quality.However.. I have had a few bad experiences there as well.. Basically this has happened about 3 times:I ask for an item, the worker looks at me stupid and basically insults me with a "...what?" or "what are you talking about?" with an attitude like I'm an idiot. And this has been the older workers, not the teens that work there sometimes.So if you are going in to ask about an item or if it's a good season to plant something...expect to get an attitude and made to feel stupid. I think the owner needs to have a talk about customer service with their employees.I work in retail and this would never be allowed.You do not make you customer feel stupid for asking a question.

My review is mainly based on my experience buying livestock . I think it's a great place for everything else. About 2 months ago I purchased 2 chicks from them . Both were malnourished. They were so boney. Not even 24 hours after purchasing them one of them passed away. I'm not new to raising chickens. Today the other one passed away. I wouldn't even say I had her a hole 2 months. I kept her inside away from the cold and rain and would take her outside when it is nice and not too cold. None of the chickens I have raised have passed away this early on. I will never buy livestock from them again.

Hardware store/farmers store. You can find a little bit of everything here. Its like tractor supply only the vegitsboe plants you buy here are local Heirloom and the chickeb pullits are heritage/LSU recommended breeds. Great place to shop for stuff that LASTS.

Don't let the title of Seed and Feed fool you as they carry feed and seed and so much more! This place takes me back to a simpler time when you could go to one store and pick up everything you could possibly need for your farm or gentleman's ranch. I visit frequently as I have found their selection of pets foods to be extensive and the prices are reasonable.

Preferred over Tractor supply. I always get feed, hatchlings, medicine, plants, gardening supplies from Feed & Seed. My family has been shopping here for around 42 years. It's a great place. Very helpful staff. Martha is extremely helpful and can answer just about any animal question!

People were great! My little granddaughter was taking large nails from the bins, and instead of fussing her, they saw I was showing her where to put them back. Lots of smiles and genuinely friendly people.

Young people act like they are unhappy. It shows. But that I pretty much everywhere now. Not rude, just don't smile much. They don't know how worse it could be. But good people. Good variety of products. I like to go there.
