For almost 4 years now I visit this store 5 days a week. I must say Sunday's are my favorite. The staff really treats me wonderful. And, I have to give a special shout out to employee Matthew. He not only will bag my 2 carts of groceries, but also escort me to my car and load my trunk for me. He is truly the sweetest gentleman on the planet!! Love this store and staff!!!

A great grocery store and very organized and have just about every food you can imagine. My favorite thing of all was the huge beautiful Louisiana mural on the walls. I was shocked 😲 at how beautiful and heart warming the mural was. The art mural gives the store a comforting, familiarity that makes grocery shopping a great exsperance and I highly recommend this store. 👍🏼👏🏼🌟🌟🌟🌟🤗

My husband's all-time go-to grocer for fried chicken for his hunting camp as well as a reliever for me. The only caveat is who the cook is that day. He prefers the one (1) staff member who NEVER cooks the chicken until it's dry. I don't have her name at this time, but I will update this post when I get it.

Update;Just bought groceries and other items from them. People nowadays don't know how to bag items in a safe manner.We have chemicals placed into bags with edible items. I guess nowadays you have to be a rocket scientist to know how to bag items. When I worked in a store, we were trained how to bag items. It appears these people don't care. Management has been told several times and yet hot goes with cold, hard with soft, and chemicals with food.I guess I should just keep my mouth shut and shop elsewhere.Groceries at a higher price. A mom and pop local chain that tries to get as much as they can like alot of other establishments.

I can whole heartedly say "I LOVE OUR LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD GROCERY STORE"....Better known as "ROUSES"... The workers I've come in contact with are ALWAYS NICE & FRIENDLY. The facility is kept up, outside and in. Makes my visit enjoyable and pleasant. 👍💯

So apparently I randomly was cruel to rouses and gave it a one star two years ago. I guess I just wasn't in the mood for rouses lol I am now changing my review cause I have nothing to complain about I have never had a bad experience at a rouses

I am highly upset that when you're trying to buy healthy snacks for your child, the store, including the employees, doesn't take proper action to properly care for these items! The grapes appeared to have a dusty feel to them plus they were going bad! Very soft to the touch and partially rotten! When I decided to wash the few good ones that were left, a lot of dirt rinsed off! Pathetic! The apples, my God. I did not look before I bought, but once I opened the net, you can clearly see rotten holes on all of them! Because I assumed it was just on outer peeling, I tried slicing the peeling off; Highly upset to find my daughter could NOT eat the apples either bc it was rotten and stiff to the touch. Rotten parts everywhere, almost resembling a globe! Highly highly frustrated and disappointed!

Last week bought 4 family packs of ground meat 81% ground chuck from your Plattenville store. Was packed with fresh ground meat outside and old brown ground meat inside. When I called was told by manager groundmeat was packaged fresh daily. If this would be true why would ground meat look like that. Traveled too far to drive back and return. Was not offered to return meat to one of the Rouses near me. Went to another store (not Rouse) in my area bought a pack of ground chuck and meat was red all the way through. That was fresh(red all the way through.)

They .owners does not enforce the use of face mask and there is no social distancing at this place. Many times I have witnessed a customers arguing with an employees because she was doing her job and enforcing the mask.

Fruits vegetables and meats are horrible rotten or mildew most often & cheese look like it has green mildew sometimes but they're canned goods are pretty good
