I would not have any star highlighted if I could have said this without it. We are an elderly couple who both have physical problems. We have been shopping here for several years since our local Walmart got so bad. We had 2 baskets to check out but not even one checkout line to use. One for 20 items or less and self checkout available. So my husband just parked his basket full with about $300 offl groceries I had to check mine at the self check because I needed the health care items and my favorite ice cream bars that I couldn’t find anywhere since Covid. So I had to spend my $141 dollars because I counld not have physically handled that much shopping again. Since this was as far as we want to travel for lower prices we just have to pay more for what can afford at smaller stores but better service.

They were out of several items I was looking for. The celery had not been replenished or they were out. Prices were good compared to the two other stores in my area. The other stores were selling like name brand items 3/$4.00 or 4/$5.00 but using the Great West brand( which I always use and love) I actually saved money. Wal-Mart is my first choice of shopping before I go the the other two stores for my area.

This store location is usually great, but lately it has been terrible. Workers do not care and are getting them lazier. See picture of the expensive $4 milk I buy. Okay Friday at work and you'll earn more pay. No wonder no one wants to pay anybody, people are lazy and don't know good work ethic. Also today on June 4th 2022, the store smells like somebody peed in it....gross

ZERO PRIDE IN THEIR WORK. Poor curbside service. There was empty cars parked in the spots. Found one available at last. Waited for 20 minutes until someone brought me my stuff. All comes down to poor management.

Its a Walmart, in a less populated area so it has less righty then the counterpart in Port Allen but the cashiers and other employees are way way way more personable and I've never had a problem paying with a check here unlike Port Allen.

Operationally lacking mostly. When you arrive at this Walmart, the first thing you notice is the holes in the parking lot area. Small to car tire swallowing big holes. Online Grocery pick up lanes are always filled with regular shopper's vehicles. Inside the building, it is rare to find Customer First employees. You will pass 3 employees standing inside the front walk way. Not one of these employees will talk to you at all or even move out of the way if blocking the walk way. I know they have to have good employees. It seems it is just hard to find them.

This is one of the best Wal-Mart stores. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you find anything and they always have registers open and will check you out with a smile 😃 and a thank you 😊. Great job management 👍!

My kids love Pokémon, and they like to collect the cards. But this Walmart NEVER has them. I have to drive into Baton Rouge if they want some new cards, it takes a massive chunk out of my day to drive all the way out there to get them some new cards. This Walmart used to have them all the time but we haven’t seen them here since February!

It's not my usual Wal-Mort, but I was killing time waiting on traffic to die down. I needed somethings, I had to stop before I got home anyway. The Staff are very nice, and friendly. The store was clean, it was easy to find an employee willing to help me find whatever I was looking for. I will be stopping again.

this Walmart in Plaquemine is absolutely garbage the employees are very disrespectful they don't know how to do anything they arent trained well and some of the employees are very problematic. they do not know how to talk to customers and they always have something to complain about. Every time I come here it's always someone with a horrible attitude but they expect tips.One of the managers are very very unprofessional they don't treat their employees had it should be treated.I think one of the managers name is Jason he does not need his position at all. We need this walmart in Plaquemine Louisiana to be better because its disgusting

I have family coming over tonight. I got off of work. I don't go to Walmart for groceries often but seeing as how Walmart has appliances one specifically that I need. I would just do most of the shopping here. As usual there's a fifteen to twenty minute wait to just get your groceries, and of course the fifteen twenty to be allowed to leave the store with your purchases as they validate if you've committed a crime with receipts after having a thousand cameras and who knows what other tech on you. In addition today actually this wasn't the first time. This has been an issue in the past once before. You get to the register after waiting that 15-20 minutes and come to find out the item you're trying to purchase and the sole reason you're at this store is to buy this item but and even though it's on the shelf they can't sell it. The manager even came up and wasn't able to sell it and the worst part is it's clearly a problem that they're aware of because the cashier specified that. I mean if you going to put product on the shelf you need to make sure that the product you put on the shelf is sellable especially when you're making us go through all the effort of waiting and then accusing everyone of crimes when they're spending hundreds of dollars in your store.

One thing is for sure shelves empty,middle aisle so stuffed you can not move as for checking out it was so bad people were shouting for a manager,one person was in line a half hour ice cream melted,the only bright person was a older lady that was smiling this store is always busy as it takes care of a large community sadly it has become a sad time,when you see a friend the complaints are always the same if we didn't really have to we wouldn't shop at this store,and now with customer pickup spots handicapped, you must park almost to the sonic next door also on more than one occasion at least 4 to 5 employees are sitting at the door having no regard for what they say,or moving so we can ent enter also employees smoking in front of store sitting on carts meant for childrenRealize the world is crazy it would be really nice to enter and shop and NOT HAVE TO CHECK YOURSELF OUT with a no care employee watching you struggle to bag items sad sad sad wish for the whole community to have a WALMART that cared for our business

Not really low prices and their staff are unfriendly and rude. The pick up is slow and they do not answer when ucall the pick up dept to let them know you've arrived.

I tried to get someone in the electronics department it took me an hour to get help and when I got to the check out it took me 20 minutes to check out only one self check out was working and two register open I will never shop at this Walmart again I tell everyone not to shop here

Slow checking out due to the lack of actual cashiers on registers open...self checkout is cool and all but there aren't enough of them and they're setup as more of an express lane instead of actual checkouts like the ones at Port Allen Walmart...if I have to check myself out, I should get paid cashier pay jus saying lol...

One of the worst wal marts you can ever go to. A lot of times they do not have what you need and most of the employees are very rude. Update. Don't try pick up here. They have spaces reserved but are always filled with non pick up customers. Makes it hard to get your pickup. (Upda t ed) reserved parking spot still taken by non pickup people. Also almost impossible to get a handicap space due to the high number of non handicap people parking in them. Let's not go into the sheer amount of people parking in fire lanes and in the middle of the driving lanes.

Location has went severely downhill, over the past couple of months the workers have gotten more lazy. Recently i purchased a pair of headphones (suppose to be brand new) i opened the box & to my surprise. THEY WAS BROKE, the box had been ripped on the back and they just taped it up and resold it.

Never have much of anything and the workers will not help you locate anything tell you about anything or know anything rude attitude everytime and only self checkout you try to buy 300 $ worth of groceries in self checkout and have to get attitude everytime something don't scan right they have to put a code in it's not my fault and I don't work there so why should I have to bag and check out I could see if it was a few items yeah that's great in and out but large purchases should be handled by employees that's alot they get paid for that but just get to stand there and watch you and get mad if you need assistance and God forbid you be elderly and don't understand horrible and they never have a electric buggy for my grandma

Very few people were wearing mask today. It was crowded, lots of people buying beer, what is the occasion. They had the 50 lb bag of deer corn for 10.40 got that for the squirrels ,keeps them out of my garden. Great shopping day.It hasent changed, just the prices.

Well I had a customer that wanted a Boost flip phone and I can't get them anymore through our distributor so I called over there to check to see if they had any for her. It took me 30mins to finally talk to someone in electronics after 3 or 4 transfers. I wish I had something good to say but sorry not this time.
