Always shop there. Employee that was checking me out was a little rude. She was having trouble reading the numbers on one of the items I had. Told her that it came from a table not two feet away from her. She jumped back at me verbally and said she got it. After she checked me out she walked over to the item to see if she got it right. Hopefully she charged me right. Everyone has a bad day but isn't the customer always right. Not even a thank you or come again when I left.

Sad and disappointed. I really liked this store, but its 2 different sets of staff. We always did our shopping early in the morning, rarely after noon. I loved the day staff. Always friendly, professional and patient. Going out of their way to be helpful. That was not the case early one evening. Suffice it to say, I will never go in there again. I told my husband he could shop wherever he wants, but I was so mad and disappointed, I told him if he buys from Rouses HE can cook it, just not in my kitchen.

The deli cooked food was very very good.Some sale prices were good and regular store prices are high,but if there is one main grocery store in a small comunity where they know some people can go no where else or need groceries now these stores are usually higher.I lived in White Castle years ago and the prices at this grocery store were always higher.I say this to say the supply issues may have something to do with the higher prices but not much ,its more of it being the only grocery store for miles before you can get to one by car.

The store was remarkably clean, bright and inviting and everything was easy to find.🤩👍👍The employees and cashiers, however, were not on the same level. Kinda of higher on the prices than other super markets but they have a great selection of meats that go on sale a lot. The meat here is well priced and the meat that you get here seems to be of a higher grade than other places. I simply do my meat shopping here when I am in need of it and save my other shopping for the others local stores. Overall, good store. And their employees and very nice and helpful as well.

Great polite service at the checkout they even help me get groceries out of handicapped cart. The lady that helps with cleaning the shopping carts helped me put the groceries in my vehicle. She is very polite and she takes alot of pride in her job.

My favorite place to get groceries. You can always afford the prices and great selection of meat. However if you go on a Sunday you won’t really have much to choose from on meats that were on sale vegetables and fruit are always fresh. Cashiers are friendly

They can be a bit pricey and the deli's offerings today left something to be desired. The food looked old and dried out. The bakery offerings looked good, though. I love the immense wine selection, I've tried lots of great new reds from there. The cashiers werent very professional but they're kids. Whadya gonna expect?They DO however, need to learn not to talk about one customer in front of another. The store is always clean and they also offer sushi.

Great family owned supermarket with a laid back feel. Also has more variety and different brands. Sometimes they have sales that beat other competitors' prices. The shopping carts are super small though, I guess to help folks save money lol.

Friendly neighborhood grocery store, good service good people. But nothing out of the ordinary except for one month a year that I would look forward to every year until Rouses bought out Leblancs and spat in the face of the most wonderful part of that store. They were creators of some of the most delicious king cakes ever concocted in the greater Baton rouge area. The icing was like a lazy three day weekend, with a cinnamon dough that was like a blast of heaven in your mouth. It would stay fresh for weeks in your fridge and was honestly the best part about Mardi gras for me every year. I can't support a business that would ruin such a beautiful and pure thing. It's as shameful it's kicking a litter of puppies after a Sunday Home homily. I can only hope they find it in their hearts one day to spread the world full of joy again with the one chosen king cake.

As we say in plaquemines it takes three stores to get all your groceries rouses stocks things that you can't get at any other store little bit higher prices but a better selection on certain items this particular store very rarely has the specialty items that is in the sales brochure I guess because of its size I've been to the stores in baton rouge and otherwise and they all have the stuff so I don't understand

Not a real Rouses. So disappointing. Probably the worst store in their chain. I wish they would stop sending out the fliers; this store never has any of the items listed. Sad. Update! They just got a lobster tank! Now if the could just up their cheese selection...

Fair prices and the sushi here is the best I have had from a box store made fresh every morning if you like crawfish well there crawfish sushi is my favorite topped with a spicy mayo sauce.
