Favorite grocery store the staff make you feel like a part of the family. I love the older ladys that work there. The staff are very nice thanks for the spice chinken noodles thank you for picking up my daughters shoe when she kicked it off and everything else. And thank you for trying to keep fair prices in the mist of inflation.

Now this is my favorite meat store. You walk to rear of store. Every item you looking for today to make your dinner with is here. Period! This is one well run operation. They are a cost plus store. See their formula is simple. Cost of item plus % added to final cost and you get a great deal. See they do it differently than others they show you how much in % you will pay. Simple in the meat area that's a hell of a deal. Sign me up. I am a/loyal shopper of this store. Hey Mac pour on the good savings! Shop here no fear of high prices.

Great deals! I love grocery shopping here especially for meats when they are on sale. Bought several briskets on the last sale and was more than pleased with the quality and the price. I hope that the sale comes back soon(hint!)

Floors are clean, people were friendly. I found strawberries that Sam's club didn't have. A&W Rootbeer 24pk was really reasonable. I'm on a fixed budget. The Bathrooms need remodeled. 2 commodes wouldn't flush and the stalls are too small. Other than that I had a good visit.

Small town grocery store. Gives Winn Dixie vibes. Young friendly staff. Nice officer on duty. Self checkout is avaliable. Fresh produce, deli and bakery. A little dated with the products but still gets the job done. Had a nice special on meats!

Sometimes after hard day at work I gotta get a few groceries on the way home. This is one of my favorite places to shop. They still have cashier's to greet you and ask 'how was your day?' rather than a self checkout when I'm really too tired to bag my own items. You'll definitely find the polite, well mannered staff here. Thanks Mac's Grocery for making the end of my day a little easier...

Strange:All the pricetags say, "10% added at checkout."An unexplained 10% "surcharge" is apparently added to everything; essentially, the pricetag is NOT the price.WEIRD. What's going on here?Other than that it's an ok little country market.

This became my go-to for lunch plates. I overcame my OCD about employees coming from outside, etc. straight to serving food without washing their hands.Then about a month or two ago, an employee cleaning the rotisserie with a chemical "promptly" attempted to serve me but "unfortunately" did not have the training to know to wash his hands first!Once seeing him hold my styrofoam container with part of his hand touching the inside of it (with his dirty chemically covered gloves hand).I asked him to please remove the gloves and get me another container.He removed the gloves and with a secondary set of gloves he had on picked up my container and continued to want to serve me.I couldn't take it anymore and leftI called the office phone and explained what taken place.About a month after the incident I thought let me give them another chance.I go in, female employee comes from I don't know where to behind the counter, grabs a container, thumb inside it as usual, can I help you.Such ashame the Deli employees are apparently not Serve Safe trained.So, today I thought, let's go see. Drove there, pulled into parking space.Thought to myself, What are you going to do when they stick their hand in your container again?I've gambled on losing time convincing myself to drive there.Do I wanna waste all the time getting inside, waiting in line for the same results.So, I just left and went somewhere else.Just such a waste to have a place with Good food, Great portions and such uncleanliness!

There is a wide selection of food to pick from, it’s just the food wasn’t seasoned. I prefer a lil spice so my taste bud we’re not satisfied. Although if you prefer a cuisine that’s bland, go for it, otherwise bring you some tobasso.

When walking into the store their is an odor from the meat area. It smells similar to a butcher shop. Some customers may find this off putting.

Writing this review simply for the deli, I eat from their deli 2 or 3 times a week. Whether it be a plate lunch or fried chicken, you can’t go wrong. They are generous with their servings and usually have a wide array of options. The best fried chicken is in the area. And did I mention cheap? Can’t beat the price considering how good it is.

Being Racist must be on the Application because the whole deli department is Racist at Max's fresh market and it has been for a while I don't expect anything to be done about it but at least people will know what they have to deal with when they go there! Never going back! I wouldn't spend a wooden nickle at this Grand Wizards store!

Felt very uncomfortable in that store. Just left out of there 5/21/21@4:04 pm. The customers is mainly one ethnic group and the short time I was in there they was cutting in front of me. One lady was pushing her basket straight into me and my kids. I had to push them on the side along with myself. Made it to the bakery looking for a cake. Never was greeted. A man with his phone smack in his face. Never even said hi. The only friendly person was my cashier name Hunter. The environment is totally different here in Alexandria. The store is friendly so I'll continue doing business in Alexandria. Only reason I went to that one is because my boyfriend got my mother's day cake there. He said they have a fresh bakery in Tioga. And we enjoyed my mother's day cake. Today is my daughter birthday so we went there. Will not return.

Small, local grocery store, always clean and tidy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Limited selection of produce, but it is fresh. They offer a "pick 5 for $20" selection in meat department. Organized and easy to find items. They also have a small deli and bakery. Prices are a little higher than other chain grocery stores, but I enjoy going to a small, easy in, easy out grocery store. You DON'T stand in line half your life waiting to check out, after walking a country mile to pick up a few groceries, to then hike another day to get to your car. They have easy to find staff, that are friendly and actually know where items are located when you ask. They always have enough shopping carts and hand sanitizer available. When I bring my elderly mother, there is always an electric scooter/cart for her to ride, it's fully charged, so we don't have to worry about her not having enough time to complete her shopping. Mac's is a step back in time; they have a REAL person to check out your groceries, not asking you to do it yourself with those awful self-checkout things, a person to bag your groceries, and a person to assist you with your bags to the car if needed. Thank you for remembering what descent service is! I love that Mac's offers all customers a complimentary calendar at Christmas time with beautiful photos and bible verses on each page. Thank you for being such a wonderful example of what a business should be.

I love Mac’s. Great selections and the goto place for great mustard greens, collards and turnips. Great selection of fine spices in large containers at a fraction of the cost of name brands. Their prices (cost plus 10%) are competitive with Walmart without the hassle.....and they actually have registers open with people running them...imagine that!
