This place is a joke. I was trying to buy a specific Superman Comic that I had as a child, that had been marked up to $100. Then she acted like I'd spit on a flag when I asked for her to set it aside for me, and intentionally put it in a more showcased spot.Then the kicker,she stopped me at the door and accused me of stealing the shirt I'd literally wore in.This isn't Goodwill, it's Retail, with bad customer service.Incident 3/26/24 around 1ish.

When you go to checkout your items anything that is wrapped with tape on the glass items specially the ones that have tops or lids just make sure that you get an employee to unwrap it before you purchase because under the tape the glass is broken and cracked and you can't see it good cause of the tape..they should mark it as the peice is broke or don't t put it on the shelf for someone to buy!

For such a modern and impressive facade on this building I was surprised to find that the store has limited stock to offer prospective bargain hunters. Compared to the Goodwill stores in the New Orleans area this store is paltry. I’m used to being annoyed at the abundance of the clothes on the rack being so tight it’s hard to flip through them. Over here they don’t have that problem. For an example there may may have been 50 button short sleeve shirts on the rack of which only about ten fit me (XL). New Orleans Goodwill ought to take their excess and ship up here to fill the space on the racks.Anyway...I enjoyed it. It’s a clean store and I didn’t see any evidence of the employees being rude. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll gladly stop by again.

It’s a nice, clean Goodwill location but the organization is terrible. The kids clothes for example are organized by color, not by size. When I’m looking for 3T, I have to sift through ALLLLL of the kids clothes to find the size I’m looking for. The men’s and women's clothing is the same way. Want to find a children’s book? Good luck you have to look through hundreds of books to find any. We found a few items but didn’t have time to look through so many things to find what we were looking for. Consider organizing your items differently.

Currently the best goodwill location in town mainly due to staying open until 6pm when the other location closes very inconveniently at 4pm. Dressing rooms are available and employees are usually helpful and show good customer service skills. The manager could be a bit more friendly and approachable though. Everything is usually in good order and easy to find with no clothing items damaged in a way that would make them unwearable. Prices could be better but that is an issue with Goodwill itself and not this location specifically. I do still appreciate that this location honors the punch card (10 punches awards 25% off entire purchase) and utilizes the color of the week discount system. (Items marked with the color of the week are 50% off) I visit Goodwill locations in every town i visit and so far only Cenla locations have these two discounts/savings, however, the locations that do not, seem to have lower prices overall in some departments.A review of Goodwill in general:The pricing of items leaves much to be desired when it is not at all what I imagine and would rather see when donating MY used items. I choose to donate at times, instead of reselling them myself, with the hopes of helping out someone in need. I don't donate to Goodwill any longer because it seems more like I am just giving away money to a corporation and helping them to profit off of people in need. Many times when shopping there due to having a financial hardship, I find I am being charged same-as-new prices or higher than new prices believe it or not.Goodwill does, however, offer the option to exchange within 10 days which seems fair for the most part. 99% of the time I don't ever have to utilize this option, as I can try on before purchase, but it definitely gives me comfort knowing its an option. Instead of this lowering my purchasing amount, it increases it, as I feel confident in buying, bc I know it won't go to waste compared to purchasing at other second hand stores that don't allow try ons, returns, or exchanges.

Went in to browse around, but got a great deal on a Mini fridge. They actually dropped price 10 dollars off of ticket price. Young man at register very polite. Good buy.

The place has definitely gotten better with the organization of the variety of clothes. But I felt like I was over charged for the 3 items I bought. My mom bought 3 items and paid $7. I bought 3 items and paid $11. What was the difference here? The manager and employee were talking about their personal lives and i know the entire store heard them.

I have been here twice, and both times, I found it to be an absolute pleasure. I found really nice items here for a very reasonable price. They also offer senior citizens discounts on Tuesdays and Veteran/military discounts on Wednesdays. A great place to find great deals.

The prices are too high for the quality of the product. The products are donated to them and then they hike up the prices. Some of the goods are in bad shape.

Three adult customers were not wearing masks today inside this Goodwill. I avoided them and informed the manager. She instantly exploded and yelled at me to mind my own business! She said she ran the store and to just stay away from them! I asked her why she was being so unprofessional, and she turned her back on me. I recommend avoiding this unsafe environment.

They have some occasional good deals. I have seen items in there with "Goodwill" prices higher than the original retail price. Come on Goodwill, it's DONATED to you. Your CEO can pack a brown bag lunch once in a while. I often look for yarn at Goodwill and when I do find it, it's usually priced just as high or higher then the stores that sell the yarn.

I have been to Goodwill stores across the country, if you need a coffee pot, blender, bread machine or an iron this is your best place to always find them.I go consistently and see the items dropped off and in the back that NEVER MADE IT TO THE SALES FLOOR.I think they sell all the higher end items to local flea markets or have some type of backdoor policy in place. Alexandria is ran the same way. Even Natchitoches consistently have better items always on the sales floor..

There was a staff member that was totally awesome. She helped me searched for what I needed the only thing is the items in the store looked liked they should have thrown away and not given to them. Some pieces were ok but people come on if you wouldn't wear it ever..... Don't hand it off to someone else.

I rarely go in these stores anymore cause the very fact that they are jacking up the prices so high even low income cannot afford it makes my blood boil. This stuff is DONATED..every cent is profit and if you dont believe it, look st who owns it, where they live and HOW they live. Its disgusting.

I was looking for a bed frame and a cold weather jacket. I found both. And the price was incredibly low. The jacket is from old Navy and in almost new condition. I'm not saying you'll find everything you're looking for but it will be cheaper than anything you can find online.

Store clean. Service stupendous. Even the customers were friendly. Prices were surprisingly lower than they were when I last visited. Even informed of a better sale that was going to happen the next day. Doesn't get any better.

Clothes not organized by size. I do not recommend going to this store because it definitely doesn't consider the consumer. No one has all day to look at each individual piece of clothing on all of those racks to find something in their size. A time waster! Horrible set up!

Staff is always so friendly and helpful. Clothes are at better prices than the one in Natchitoches, LA. ( Same with shoes and some other items.) Always able to find something at a great price for the house.

Never shop here any more clothes donated and they charge more than buying it new. Used to be about a helping people now about how much they can make. Saw people truly in need there have to put back because of prices. Used to donate my things here now take to missions or someone in need

You ever pay 3 dollars for a 25 dollar pair pants? If not you've never been to Goodwill. The used-clothing aspect might throw some people off but everything in the showroom is washed and examined. Its always worth visiting

Nothing like they used to be. But they've rearranged the store. Looks a bit more organized but nothing that I want. Used to be I never left Goodwill with less than three bags. I used to spend about $150.00 between the one in Pineville and Alexandria. Now I rarely spend more than$5.00. Most times I'm donating when I visit the Pineville Goodwill.

Last time I visited a few months ago I was shocked at the prices on their clothes and most other things. They charge more than Walmart for very noticeably used clothes (which is saying a lot). I got a couple deals on kids pants but that's it. I will not be shopping at Goodwill anymore. (I bought a big lamp I thought I got a deal on that was a little cracked and scuffed, turns out it was the same price as a new one at Walmart!! Same exact lamp!! Ridiculous!!)

Goodwills are Goodwills. I think they are too high on their prices. However I did pick up two or three small items. I see these Goodwill's that are huge and I would love to go to one.I saw one advertising in Ohio or somewhere it was humongous and I would love to find something like that.

Had high hopes that because this Goodwill was located in Pineville it would have a better selection than Jackson St in Alexandria but I am sorry for doubting my fellow citizens. The Jackson St location has a way better selection of treasures.
