The employees were nice when I stopped by last time (it's been a while since my last visit). I found what I wanted and left. And yes, the doors on some stores start getting ready to lock for closing slightly early, as the employees normally have a lot of other work to do, and only 2 or so employees at night.

The lady's that works there are supper friendly and are all the time laughing and has a smile on there face. Even time I go in the store they are working and putting thing's on the shelves. Very good people and they have a good attitude.

I only give them 4stars because they are way understaffed and it's hard to move around due to all the unpacked freight stacked on the floor in walking space. The employees are awesome and kind. They are always willing to help.

The store was cluttered and shelves were disorderly, but that seems to be the general theme of Dollar General. The store staff was civil, though obviously understaffing has stretched them thin. Unfortunately, we could not shop properly due to stock carts blocking aisles and several shelves being bare due to improper stocking and incorrect counts.The shopping experience was okay, but the store would benefit from more staff.

Shelfs where mostly empty. There where isle no one could go down due to stock on stock buggies. Overall all extremely poorly maintained.

As a loyal customer to the Dollar General stores, I am very happy to see this particular store so very clean and well staffed. I frequently am in need of milk and diapers and this Dollar General never fails to deliver. I enjoy going through the one dollar DVDs, sometimes you can find a real hidden treasure!

The assistant manager doesn’t seem to care about her job she doesn’t help the new employees with what they need to learn she has vaped in the store more then once I’m really disgusted with her and her no good attitude she has with people and customers that shop there i have also noticed that no many people go there much anymore at 1106 main st in pineville la,71630 the mangement isn’t so well

The customer service is fair, but the store is hard to move around cause stuff is always blocking aisles. Shop here cause it os close to home and convenient but when it is congested like this, may as well have gone to. Walmart.

1106 Main Street, Pineville LA 71360..... A Manager at this location degraded & cuss at a senior citizen about 9am today. There was a problem with the electronic processing machine. The manager seemed flustered then stated, ''That's the problem with yall''; Next he said, ''Get out of My store'', threw her items on the counter & hit at this woman...Why is he at this store?? By the way ''Who is Yall''?? I am soo Very, Disappointed and appalled at this manager & his cashier's actions toward this lady. Don't Ever speak that way to me; you ARE a Sad excuse for a man!! Don't EVER disrespect or raise your hand at me either!!

I have no idea how this review that I am erasing and retyping could possibly have been mine. In fact, I realize it could not have been.The primary problem with Dollar General, particularly if this is the one on Main Street in Pineville, is that they continually run out of stock within 1-2 days of restocking. No adjustment is ever subsequently made.And, ordinarily, I would never assess an employee or employees in retail unless a large proportion of them all performed the same negative behavior toward customers (or virtually the same), but this one on Main Street has by far the worst attitude of anyone I've ever met in retail. That's not an exaggeration whatsoever. Once you interact with him, you will come to the same exact conclusion.

I would say its not bad I gets u whatever u need and it's candy is changed each month like Christmas or Halloween candy each year so yea u can make a really quick trip in and out it's not bad🙃

I went in to purchase an "AS SEEN ON TV" item. I searched the entire store, but couldn't find that section. When I was fixing to give up, I found them. They were behind a rolling rack of clothing that was on clearance. The store was messy, and so were the workers. While I was there, a call was received from a person who said she had not been given her mixer when she checked out. The two workers talked about this for the duration of my visit, and how they couldn't wait for her to show up so she could see the video footage and see she was wrong. Poor customer service.

The store is very disorganized. There are boxes all over the place, so much that it's hard to get to some of the stuff on the shelves. Also I don't know why it's called the dollar general because a lot of things are kind of expensive

Convenient place to shop right on main street, just don't try and go at the last minute because they lock the doors about 15 minutes before actual closing time I found that out from personal experience.

Be prepared to wait in line the store is also a mess. But with that being said, it's the corporations fault for underpaying the employees and limiting the amount of hours that managers have to divide among unmotivated workers

Had to get some meds for my son and i got there 6 mins before it was closed and doors were already locked! We saw one of the employees inside and he wouldn't let us in. We were so mad.

Dollar General is our go to place!! They are located in Colfax la.Exit99 off Hwy 49 here in central louisiana,and Dry Prong la.off Hwy 167 north.I love our "Dollar Store!!
