This store is actually pretty good but I give it a one because the stores sign at the road and on the building have been out for months. There are two spot lites in the front of the store and as you can see by these photos one of them is also out. In my opinion this makes this an unsafe location, not just for the patrons but the staff working there also. This needs to be addressed immediately!!

This afternoon, my name has been added to the list of all those people, who have been reporting, that items don't always scan properly at Dollar General. People are complaining that many times, the items scan for more than they're marked! Have you seen these articles? At least a half dozen over a year! Today, I bought two dog toys. One for 3.00 that scanned for 3.50. When I pointed this out to the young man, it was my impression, that he seemed surprised! So, after a hesitation, he punched some buttons, the right price appeared on the screen but the incorrect price, did not show to minus out, as with every other retailer. The next toy was marked 3.85 but scanned as 5.85. I stopped him again and pointed out the error. Once again, he hesitated and then punched some more numbers. Right price appeared but wrong price did not show to minus out. I asked if he was sure it had been corrected. He said, "I fixed it." I said I wasn't sure because, it didn't appear on the screen the customer sees. He then said, "I fixed it!" AGAIN! I said that doesn't tell me anything. What do you mean you fixed it? Will it show on my receipt? He said again, " I fixed it!" It was like talking to a robot! You better believe, I added it all up before leaving the parking lot!Another thing, if you are a couponer such as myself, DON'T GO TO DOLLAR GENERAL!!! First off, they automatically assume that you're a crook, passing counterfeit coupons and yes, the crime does exist, I know. The checker stands there and reads the entire disclaimer paragraph, while a line builds up behind! Then and only then, if you're lucky, he scans it and hold your breath because if it doesn't automatically scan, you don't get to use it! I know there are crooks out there but the majority of people, aren't and it is an insult to the customer to assume he's one of them! Dollar General should not automatically assume that their patron is a crook! That's not good business! When he stands there and reads it and grabs the product to make sure it's the right one, I feel like an illegal alien, trying to get into a country illegally! They often reject the coupon and at that point, I usually say, " Well, you keep your detergent, give me back my coupon and I'll keep my money!" Then I go to Super One, where the checker greets me with a smile, asking how my day is and did I find everything! She scans the coupon and leaves it up to the computer to pick up any errors, if any, in the choice of product. Then when that happens, she looks at whatever the product is and compares it to the coupon and if everything matches and it's not expired, she keys it in automatically! They feel, they're making more money from a happy customer, than one who is disgruntled!

The staff was very nice and helpful store was clean still better than driving all the way to Walmart and then the traffic on 28 and there new employees seem to be doing well

This is probably the most organized Dollar general in this area and the fact that they have to work with no AC and they have to close down for a few hours every day because of the heat and no AC really sucks. I give the employees in the store five stars but the company I give zero because they don't seem to care about their employees or the work conditions that they have to work in or the fact that their hours get cut everyday because the store has to close down because the company will not fix the air conditioner shame on you Dollar general.

I love the staff here, they are all great! They always know where to direct you if you cant locate a specific item bc they really keep it organized and clean in here. They always have things stocked and in its designated area. They also have great sales alot, and the app has great coupons & savings!

Was a small grocery run. Plenty of milk two different fridges. Asked for help a couple times the woman very helpful while sticking shelves. Good trip and they had what zi needed

Cashier was more interested in sending a text message than he was checking me out. The only time kyle even talked to me was to tell me what my total bill was. This was the worst service i have ever received at this store.

Some employee dont speak when u walk in, every time i go only one cashier is checking people out. They have a hiring sign for the past months. I apply for a job over there many of time. I have a 3 years of experience. So tell me why they not hiring me?

It was night time and the signs and all the outdoor lighting were off. Drove right past it looking for it! Went in and the store looked like a tornado had passed through it, very trashy looking! The person working said they had reported the sign and lighting issue and no one from corporate has done anything. It's now been over a week and the place is still in the dark at night! Wake up Dollar General!!

They need to order more merchandise, hire more people to cashier and stock, and train them to be more friendly. Alot of the employees in 4 different stores, are very very rude with smart mouths.

It is a nicer dollar store that most. For the most part it is clean organized sand don't have to wait for someone to cover out of hiding to check you out. So it is usually a quick trip in and out.

If it would have been a thief instead of me they probably would have walked out of the store with the cash register because I had to wait for a person to come out of the room behind the counter I'll call the office for maybe ten minutes so I'd say go somewhere else.
