Great Grocery store, Family run small town business, where everyone knows your name. They have a variety of special items available, and a salad bar / unch buffet that's great and priced reasonably.

This store used to be friendly but now the young people that work there are short and dry. I have experienced and witnessed it on many occasions. It just doesn't have the friendly environment it used to. It does have pretty good selections and decent pricing. I do feel it is a great place to by fresh meat cuts...yep the meat section is always on point. I do like how they did the floors. It looks very nice, clean and organized. Just fix the people. 😉

My go to store!!! Tim, the manager and the employees are always polite and willing to help out!!! The food selection in the deli is top notch and the liquor selection is on point!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

For a country little groceries store is very good,they have just about every thing,including their own brands in meats and sausages. they may need some more larger variety of spaces and herbs, the last time I could not find Oregano in their spices and herbs isle. Other than that it is very convient

I called this morning to see if they had breakfast still available and if they could make a shrimp poboy this early, which was around 9am. I ended up not getting the breakfast but 2 shrimp poboys instead. friendly staff at the deli, Kayleigh my cashier was friendly.the poboys were amazing!

A little pricey which is usual for small town grocery stores. Has some local finds. Food is cooked daily and is definitely a charm to the Lutcher area.

Went there for some Perique cigars. Matherne's is one of the few places I have found them. Perique tobacco is cultivated and cured in Louisiana. It has a nice spicy, figgy flavor profile. Give it a shot if you are looking for something slightly different that helps not only local business, but also locally grown products.

Mostly go there to pay Entergy bill...made a Money order twice...the cashier at the service counter was very courteous...there wasn't a long waiting time in line either, she was also very efficient.I've also purchased lunch from the Deli...DELICIOUS__a DOLLAR WELL SPENT, YOU'LL DEFINITELY GET YOUR MONEY'S WORTH!#NOskimping...EVERY compartment (on your plate is filled)Matherne's Supermarket is also in order, clean...ALL PRODUCTS are IN PLACE & IN ORDER...My ONLY PROBLEM is....some of their prices of various small items that I buy frequently from other local stores are "TOO HIGH"!(ex. M&M's w/🥜 6 small pcks. $2.99)...Other stores: $1& change +taxMatherne's "Lifesaver's Gummi Collisions reg.sz. bag__CAN YOU SAY...OV'R $2!?Even Winn-Dixie's "LSGCs" are cheaper: $1.99+tax..Dollar General/Family Dollar: $1& change +tax..."GiMME A BREAK!"O'YEAH____the PARKING LOT... it's convenient too, wheelchair accessible...
