This place being open is what I plan my south LA trips around. The quality and flavor are always exactly as it was when I was a kid. No bone chips and grisly bits. I have tried other places that are good but for me. I know if I go to Ray's I'll get the same amazing product every time.

My dad brought me her as a kid for my first taste of boudin. I've been using them as the standard for boudin ever since. We still make trips back just to get boudin and cracklin. I love this place and will make sure my kids get a chance to experience and enjoy this place.

Great old school boudin, they have my favorite cracklings around and by favorite I will drive 35 minutes to get them. But in full disclosure the last two times I went they were way over done, I hope they get back on track soon because they were the best.

The best boudin you could ask for...the regular boudin ball was just spicy enough and the pepper jack ones were excellent.... service was great even though there was a crowd the staff still greeted you with cheerful smiles and the prices were perfectT

Best boudin near Lafayette, hands down. The locals know it, too, because it's usually got people coming in and out constantly. Worth the drive from Lafayette. They also have cracklins and a ton of other store-made Cajun meats and ingredients.

We bought 3lbs total of boudin (1 lb for the road & 2 lbs for home. We made a special trip from Baton Rouge for this and not only were we deeply disappointed by the raw tasting boudin but my wife threw up. We went back and returned both bags and was reimbursed for the 2lb bag only and she apologized for our bad experience. I appreciate the attempt at customer service but we won't be returning.
