The inside of the store is always under construction.The lights in front of the store are dim and there's no lightening in the back so you can't see to find anything.. The refrigerators are empty except for one. It's running off an extension cord that's tape to the floor. The produce is expensive and should be throne out. That same for the meat and dairy. The ⭐ is for the bounding and sausage so that's all the should be allowed to sell.Thank you for asking. O,r maybe you shouldn't have.

Great local meat market. I have to eat a lot of protein, so I stop at Meche's every couple days. I usually get the ribeye, bottom round, and gravy steaks to have in the fridge for the week's breakfast or dinners. I love their smoked sausage and hog head cheese. I really like the nice people there.

When my aunts and uncles got too old to have a boucherie, they told us to pass at Meche's and get the pure pork sausage ("not the mix, no!") because the recipe is very similar to the old family recipe. ("You can hardly tell the difference.") That was back in the early 1950s. This is the sausage I grew up with. Many other good sausages are available within a short drive, some of them great, almost at every little country store, but I go back to Meche's every chance I get. I have not found a sausage I like better. The boudin is good here but mushy; nowadays I like T-Boy's boudin best of all. Meche's butcher department is full service, and they have a lot of local specialty meats.

I love this place and the employees they are very friendly, I shop and stock up on every visit from California, I love the mix-mild sausage and the stage blanks cookies.. glad it back open on Sunday..

The workers need to pay more attention to product rotations!! Alot of things on the shelves and coolers are expired!!!! Be careful when u shop here and always check the packaging dates!

Besides one of they girls at the register put something back on the shelf after I paid for it when I got home is when I found so I had to go back up and they watch the video so watch out with the white girl skinny and wears classes
