We love dr. Fontenot! If something is wrong, they will see my cats the same day. One of my cats has issues with more anxiety than normal cats and they do what they need to to make him more comfortable for exams. Even gave us medicine for grooming and vet visits to sedate him so it's a better experience for everyone involved (for sure at least the humans involved and he doesn't care about anything). They call when the cats are sick to check up on them and sent a sympathy card when one of them passed away. We will never leave dr. Fontenot for another vet.

Dr Fontenot is really a very good veterinarian...he's through and very caring! He is also very good about keeping you informed of prices and alternatives if you can't afford something but he always puts the welfare of your pet first and foremost!!! His staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! All in all its a comforting place to bring your" fur"baby! They also have a good supply of special foods for your pet. But the bottom line is that they care for your pet and you leave feeling as if you have been cared for also!!

Dr. Fontenot is such a caring Veterinarian. I brought my German Shepherd puppy in when she was 6 weeks old. She had eaten something poisonous. She was so sick clenching her tongue with her teeth I was a mess but the staff kept me posted & thankful my baby girl was okay. Dr. Fontenot was so caring & handled Luna with care. I’ve had other pets in the past & he’s always been amazing with them & his staff is so nice. Definitely recommend.

My fur baby loves her vet. This place is an older Facility with old fashion down home love for you pets. He is kind gentle and explains everything during your visit. He is located directly off the interstate 49 and he never over books his clients. Weve never stated at an appointment that last more than 30mins. He is quick and extremely efficient.

We love Dr. Fontenot and his staff! Dr. Fontenot saved my cat’s life (I mean, she had 8 more lives but still) after she ate some valentine candy that my kiddos brought home from school a couple of years ago. My kitty is a stray that I rescued after she was abandoned near my workplace. But at Fontenot Vet Clinic they don’t treat her like she’s “just a stray”. They treat my sweet girl with so much care and compassion! We are always pleased with our visits!

Brought our puppy in to get examined, not only did they rush him out, his issue was never fixed and they want more money for a reexamination after misdiagnosising him the first time. I think it should be on them and not rush because more clients more money. Sad business here.

Love the staff office and exam rooms are clean and disinfected between each animal. Dr Fontenot gives excellent care. My boxer had been going to another local vet for four years before we switched to Dr Fontenot. Previous vet kept insisting she had cancer turned out to be allergies also previous vet failed to catch that she is nearly blind in one eye since birth. So happy we switched to Dr Fontenot he is awesome.
