Rude and unprofessional.This was my 1st time shopping there and its my last. Went in there to pay for my items and my card was declined. The cashier was ON THE PHONE and without even asking me if I had another way to pay (WHICH I DID), she yanks my stuff out of the bag and says next. I tried calling the store to speak with a manager but I guess they know their employees are trash because they not answering.

Store is pretty neat and well stocked. Customer service is like the luck of the draw. Some workers are polite and others....well let's just say service could be a little better. Lines are short most of the time so you are in and out quick.

Store has undergone a good transformation since my last review. It is under new management, and shelves are chock full and coordinated, good fronting practice is used. Associates are much nicer and more helpfas well. I include the managers in thar!!!

Always kept neat. Every time I go in I wined up buying things that I didn't even know that I needed. Fast and friendly services. Great prices and always stocked.

Messy, stuff everywhere. The two girls working never even said hello. They didn't have any baskets in sight outside or in the stores so I couldn't really grab what I wanted due to me carrying my son and holding my other sons hand.

Aside from them always restocking which I suppose is understandable.The almost always have my favorite stuff in stock.

Store wasn't clean and not to mention safe. Shelves were broken and pieces of them were on the floor in the aisles. Items were opened by customers, eaten and left on the shelf.

Worst customer service,disrespectful young lady I've ever encountered in a business setting! I literally took out my phone & started recording😡I witness her being nasty & rude to an elderly female the week before & I wish I would have spoken up then,now that she has deliberately overcharge me,yelled,lied ,called her manager to side with her......during this #LouisianaFlood folks shouldn't have to deal with this type of person!!! My entire rant is up on Twitter @DollarGeneral ,just awful! I'm telling clients to use their vouchers/gift cards @ other places being Dollar General is allowing this vile being to terrorize their store!

You can find most household supplies at DG. The help at this particular DG is fresh, helpful, and friendly. Despite high volume, this store is well maintained.

They never answer phones and always on cell phones when servicing customers never greets you be careful debris all over the floor hate this store prices on shelf is different when rang up !

That make cashier was very ugly and rude passed up my husband twice when he asked for help. I am calling the district manager on him and they have rap music playing really loud in this store.. I will not go to this dollar general again..

I visited 3 locations in Opelousas and all of the employees were very friendly and helpful while I was trying to locate the Black Friday specials.
