If you are looking to fill a prescription Do Not use this pharmacy in Opelousas. They have the rudest pharmacists and associates I’ve ever dealt with. My husband had surgery yesterday and we tried to fill the pain prescription the doctor gave us and they called to tell me that it wasn’t covered by our insurance. I looked it up and it WAS covered by them and the cost of 30 days worth was supposed to be $2.59 at this specified store. When I inquired as to why they couldn’t cover it at that price, the pharmacist was extremely rude and short with me and acted like she could have cared less about helping us. They are going to charge me $13 for only 7 days. I have also called the pharmacy and when no one picks up the phone (ringing off the wall) I go inside and watch them talking and cutting up with the phone constantly ringing like they just don’t want to answer it. Long story short, they are not worth your time. Check the other reviews…same issues for others. NEVER again!

This store is awful! Half the time the drive-thru is closed when you expect it to be open at 5pm during the week. And what national chain pharmacy closes for lunch?! I showed up to an RX at 1:25pm and they pulled the metal cages down in the pharmacy when they are not supposed to go to lunch until 1:30pm. Unacceptable. They deserve less than 1 star.

This place is a joke. Had to wait 30 minutes for the girl to tell me she lost my prescription paper. And when she found it she told me come inside and she might get it filled today cause they close at 8pm but she told me come back in a hour when I drop it off at 6pm and I came at 7:30pm to make sure I gave them enough time. ...I needed my medicine. This place is a joke, I called to see if they had a prescription that needed to be filled so, I asked the lady do you have this in stock she said yes. I said it contains this ingredient and she cuts me off by saying we have it. I asked her again she said yes we have it. I drove 35 minutes to get it filled, the pharmacist said we don't have it. I told him I called and the lady said you have this available. He said we don't have it in stock, you can go to Lafayette they may have it. It is just so very frustrating, a complete waste of my time and gas money!

I don’t even think they deserve a review. Had to bring my grandson to er in Opelousas for breathing problems. They prescribed meds for me to pick up at cvs in Opelousas . When I get there they said they were closing in a few minutes and I would have to wait till tomorrow all the while I’ll holding my sick grand baby .what a joke of a pharmacy and pharmacist . All it would have taken was a few minutes to fill . Never again will I go to a cvs anywhere. Walgreens in Lafayette filled it for me .

This CVS (I have no other experiences with CVS) is the WORST, I repeat the WORST pharmacy known to man kind. I highly suggest to use Walgreens or maybe just figure out how to make your own prescriptions at home... you would truly be better off. The people who work here literally do not care about themselves let alone customers. Their customer service is a joke. I would not suggest this pharmacy to my worst enemy. I cannot imagine a worse pharmacy to deal with regularly. If it were in my power I would have this location completely shut down. If you ever have the displeasure of entering this horrid establishment you will notice how unorganized it is, as well as how NASTY it is. The bathrooms are deplorable, the floors are always dirty beyond belief... and the employees are rude.

People Beware ‼️. When you can't trust a pharmacy when employees suppose to be able to handle customers concerns with out retaliation. She acted like a disgruntled, underpaid fast food cashier. The very reason I prefer to cook at home, now.What happen is.Because I disputed with this mid- age black cashier. Asking her why my copay was $44, questioning had she ran the order correctly; which is very high for 4 common meds. At Walgreens these same meds are O zero copay, but CVS was closer to my house. The very reason I drive 20 minutes to go to church, cause I refuse to go to just any church. She says maybe your Medicare is partner with Walgreens. Being in pain I paid it. This woman open my meds and took one bottle out so I would have to pick it up the next day. Because in her hand was 2 stapled bags but when she hand it to me one bag was open and one med was missing. She immediately closed her window for lunch. The next day the pharmacy text me to pick it up. With that kind of retaliation and Wickedness; no way will I trust that bottle of meds. I will cancel it immediately. And get my doctor to send it to another Rx company.People like her can sabotage a business...,.............

Worst pharmacy ever experienced. Couldn’t pick up the phone when my doctor was calling in my prescription after I was told they didn’t have anything under my name. However the nice and excellent customer service from the cashier in the grocery area.

I had to drop off a package for UPS to pick up instead of having to go to UPS store. So much more convenient!! The caveat is that you have to make sure the label is already on the package, they do not supply them. It basically has to be ready for pick up to use their service - but it's really convenient if that applies for your situation!

I had to transfer a prescription from out of state, they were quick to help me out and walk through it. When I got there, they were very helpful and accommodating. The cashier at the front was great. A good pharmacy and store to visit.
