Manager name of Evans in the pharmacy Refuse to sell me diabetic syringes and quoted right to refuse service policy ask who they were for and ask for there date of birth told him was told they don’t get there insulin from them I told him they get it thru Humana mail order ask him y he prints out The right to refuse service but befor he said it was Walmart policy then when I asked him to print that out he printed out The right to refuse service I ask what is the reason he would not give a answer I don’t understand it’s not a prescription item now I’m 51 have picked them up before no problem I talked to store manager she went talk to him she came back and said he got short with her and said that’s separate department they run it as it’s own store have contacted corporate but don’t expect and results from them

Adequate meeting place. We were there working the polls. We had two machines and enough room for a couple of round tables. That's about it. It does have a full kitchen if needed.

The most disappointing produce section I've ever seen in a grocery store. Whomever the buyer is for this location needs to take a hard look at better planning for the location.Someone on the team needs to look out for produce that can affect other produce before a customer gets sick if it isn't already happening.If you fix it, with photo proof, is be glad to edit the review.If you found this review helpful or had a similar experience leave a thumbs up so this stays at the top!

Relatively clean Walmart. Most of the employees I encountered were pleasant. Prices are better than the neighborhood grocery stores...but you have to put up with the obvious hassle of ringing up your own stuff if you want to get out of there in a reasonable amount of time. I only go here when I have a bunch of cleaning items or canned goods, otherwise it's not really worth the drive.

I LOVE this Walmart and their staff!! It is a blessing to have a friendly smile greet you walking in the door, an extended hand with a smile asks you if you need help locating an item, a warm welcome at the pharmacy by Diamond and Jacob inquiring about your family, and then you see that big smile from Tiffany, she makes you feel like family because she Loves all of us!! I grew up in NOLA, we've been out here for almost 20 years now, and I've never experienced warmth from any store like this. I work in Zachary and that's a Walmart no one wants to encounter, I tell everyone to take that drive from Zachary, because We Have The BEST WALMART EVER!! We need to be thankful for the people we are greeted by in our lives. We live in a crazy world and thankfully we can step into a grocery store and feel the love of really good people.

Front door associate checking receipts needs toLearn how to read the Walmart pay app. If you offer the ability to pay using the app then make sure your associates don’t argue with the customer when they don’t know how to use technology. Also the associates checking out customers are rude they don’t speaker won’t say anything back when you great them. This is not the Walmart culture that I expect as a customer. Manager needs to train their associates better.

It's clean and very neatly organized. The shelves are stocked full. The employees are sweet and polite.Changes are that very few times when we go here now are we able to get checked out by a human being. The checkout is 9 times out of 10 self checkout.The produce section has been neglected and the last time we bought fresh veggies the mushrooms were brown and slimy and the purple cabbage was rotten halfway through.Otherwise the store is still clean but the employees are more distanced from greeting customers. Feels detached and robotic.

Very good Walmart pickup shopping option. We don't go into the store much anymore. Beer selection is pretty basic compared to Super 1 in New Roads, which has a wide selection including IPAs and a variety of imports. Expiration gets tricky on some of their foods such as breads; expired dates are not rare.

Store was very nice and well laid out. I found what I was looking for, for the most part. However computers were down and no one could check out for an hour. So if you wanted your items you had to kind of linger til the system came up. Everything else was fine.

Tried to buy a bottle of tequila from the liquor sections checkout after friends wedding. Cashier sighs and makes it clear she doesn't feel like doing her job. Waits till the 4 other people I came in with have already left the building to tell me she needs not only my id, but all of there's too, and with one of our friends not having his wallet, I just put it back. We're in our mid twenties and I understand doing your job but she was actively being rude in exchanges while I was very polite and she made it very clear that I was inconveniencing her.

This is one of the nicer Walmarts. More choices to choose from. Their clothing section is huge. Their cat food section was well stocked. Some empty spaces where the sugar free pudding would have been. Very nice produce section & they had 3lbs bag of frozen pineapple! Alas, the elusive Milo's lemonade was not seen. Sister & I like this location better than the one in Zachary.

One person (jewel the lady cashier) can single handedly take down any pleasure in that store. I needed to have a ID override at the self checkout. She acted like it was too much for her to handle. Not a word from her but the body language was clear. She hates her job. Then she reprimanded her co worker right in front of me saying " its not job to have to do this".

Several customers and myself were at this location 15 minutes before the store was scheduled to close. I for one have previous retail experience and do know if a store is supposed to close at 8P that is the time the associates shouldn’t allow customers to enter not close early and turn tour backs on customers . We all need to get products and they denied our service over 10 people were turned around . I love Walmart , but this location isn’t doing things correct.

Both of my brothers went to get their Covid shots and had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. They both sat in chairs over an hour. Our time is very valuable too. Neither one got much of an apology for having to wait so long. Very bad experience.

The grocery pickup employees are sweet, but we travel full-time and use the grocery pickup all over the country. This was the first and only Walmart that didn't have the groceries ready 15 minutes in advance of the designated time slot. In fact, both times we ordered pickup from New Roads Walmart, the order was delayed. And we had problems with the quality of the groceries, as well as damaged goods.

I needed to do some last min shopping for my little ones birthday and I need to sign up with a new wireless provider. The party isle looked like it had a hangover. It was under stocked and there were decorations open and thrown everywhere. Could be days of neglect or 2 mins of an unsupervised kid. Then there was no one in electronics so I still dont have a working phone after 3 trips to Wal-Mart. I dont have access to transportation until after 7 pm. I have run into the issue of certain departments closing before I can get there a lot sense covid. When I was ready to check out there where no regular lanes open so everyone had to go to self check out. I usually use self check out so that wasn't a problem. The issue was only 2 of the registers where open for cash and most of the people that where checking out don't use self check out often enough to know how to navigate it. So there was a slight red light district vibe from the assistance needed lights. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the attendant in self check out had such a good attitude despite the aggravation of being bombarded by this particularly rude, impatient, and dense random selection of the population.
