Way too Expensive. A Dog I was Interested in at the SPCA WAS $25 ,But A Week Later was SENT TO Zeus,i inquired and they Tried to Charge Me $300. Redicilous...Are You Trying to find Homes for the dogs ? Or Profit off of Dogs That People Cannot Afford to Buy Once Sent to your Agency .I was Very Disappointed 😘

We live close and really tried to make ZP work for us. Staff was nice enough and our dog seemed to enjoy it. (We've used the daycare and boarding). Plus, we really admire their rescue program. But, they have very limited space so you never know if your dog will have a daycare spot. They also close frequently because they prioritize boarders over daycare. (This makes financial sense for them and makes them unreliable for us). Also, our dog plays a lot harder at other daycares because of space. (ZP has a very small play area, so it seems like dogs are kenneled a lot more than at other daycares.) With their recent price increases, they are only slightly cheaper than most others places. It no longer added up for us. (Though, we will keep using the grooming service!)

Our pup is older and likes to hang by herself, but Zeus’s was able to find her a friend (who was a cat) so she felt comfortable in a safe and controlled environment

I live very close to ZP and was really excited about having a place nearby for my pup's grooming/boarding needs. This place CONSISTENTLY has terrible customer service (like every single time). It takes several weeks to get an appointment simply for a bath. They almost never have space for boarding when you need it. They sometimes don't even answer the phone (or leave you on hold for 15 minutes +). I have tried several times to make this place work and I want to support them, but I've finally had enough. I wouldn't recommend. Not a fan. :(

Just want to start off by saying I’ve heard Zeus place and rescue does really great rescue work, but I would not board your dog there if you care about them. Just look at any of the dog cameras, esp the play pen(which is a small indoor concrete room), and you can see how depressed all the dogs are & half don’t have any blankets or beds, just a cold cement floor. I went to pick up my pup after boarding for 2 days and he was frantic, so scared and had bloody scabs over both the back of his legs obviously from being attacked several times… nothing was done and I was not even informed. My poor baby is scarred from being boarded there and I will not be bringing him back.

We love Zeus’ Place! They take such gray care of our pets when we are out of town. I truly believe it’s because Michelle (owner) creates a culture of care and compassion in her staff. They are fabulous and I highly recommend them for boarding and grooming.

I adopted my dog from Zeus' Rescues and they were fantastic through the whole process. Now, we use their Zeus' Place location for all of our boarding and grooming needs and the amazing customer service continues. It is my dogs favorite place to go.

They do a good job grooming our Saint Bernard. The last place we went before switching to Zeus'- they could not control our dog enough to get his nails done. No problem at Zeus'! One day I had to bring both my baby and toddler to drop him off, and an employee saw me and met me across the street and took him in for me! I was so thankful for that unexpected thoughtfulness! :)

I adopted a dog from Zeus and it was a wonderful experience. I actually visited the dog on several occasions and during one of my visits they we're taking in animals that we're hurricane evacuees. The staff are all very dedicated and caring individuals, and I'm very happy to say that my daughter and I are considering adoping a kitten from Zeus to complete our little family and provide a companion for my Yorkie Paris

I recently kenneled my 3 dogs at Zeus' Place. I'd kenneled them there several times but this time I especially needed someone experienced to care for my 10 yr old Pug who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I am so glad I left him in Michelle's care!!! He doesn't eat well when he's kenneled which is a problem for a dog with diabetes. Michelle tried various things to see what would work and managed to get him to eat. She even took him to the vet when she was concerned about him. And she kept me posted on everything. I was truly impressed and extremely grateful. However, I was not a bit surprised b/c I knew they would take excellent care of all 3. I highly recommend Zeus' Place! (Thank you so much!!!)

Zeus' place has super friendly staff and they took great care of my cat while I was away. She's pretty shy so they gave her plenty of space to hide and made sure to put her food right outside her kitty cave so she didn't have to leave it to eat.

Very unhappy applicant. I tried to adopt a puppy and they made it seem like it was 100% going to be mine, when in actuality you are just applying to be able to adopt any dog. They lost my application and the dog I thought was reserved was adopted. I've heard good things about boarding but I'll just go to the SPCA if I need a new furry friend. It's cheaper and they don't jerk you around.

This really is a fantastic establishment! I volunteer here whenever I have time! The staff is amazing and so helpful. You can really tell that the people who work here enjoy what they are doing. Not only the staff is great but the animals are too! Both cats and dogs are super adorable and are clearly in good hands. In my opinion this is the best shelter I've ever been to

We have been getting our dog groomed at Zeus for years now.Our dog had to get emergency surgery on a Thursday (we found out on a Tuesday) and I called Zeus thinking since it is a emergency they would be able to get him in for a haircut since he won't be able to get one for awhile because of the incision and healing process. Uptown and Downtown grooming basically both laughed in my face saying they have months long waiting list. I asked to be put on the cancellation list in case someone cancels and they told me that was 15 people long. When you have been going somewhere for years and have been a loyal customer you would think in emergency situations such as these the company would do better to be accommodating and at the very least put you on the cancellation list.We will not be going to Zeus anymore or recommending it for anything. We called another groomer and they immediately understood our situation and fit us in. So sad how Zeus handled that situation. It truly shows they are just about money and not actually caring for your animal.

Took my dog and cat in same day. They both came out not skittish. Great pricing! Cats are boarded in the front by a window, so was nice to be able to stop by and see my kitty. Would definitely suggest.

This is a wonderful shelter that helped place us with our newest family member, Mr. Fox. They gave us the chance to see if it would work out for one week, and supplied us with food, his medicine (he is special needs), and a kennel. We were happy with service and felt like the staff cared for the animals there.

I work with Humane Society of Louisiana. When a bad flood happened in Livingston Parish, Zeus's Place opened their hearts and made room for some of our most in need dogs that were injured, tired, and needed a lot of rehab. They took so many, worked diligently night and day to save these pups and kittens. Kudos to Zeus's and if I could give 100 stars I would in a heartbeat!

We found all, and our foster doggie, at this caring pet rescue space, which also boards and grooms what really should be man's best friend.

This is strictly a review on how we were treated by a man at the front desk when we came to inquire about a dog that was up for adoption. My adult daughter went by, filled out an application and said she would be in the next day to discuss a meet and greet with her other dog. The girl at the desk was quite nice. We both took off work to go by the next day. The man at the desk made us feel like it was our fault that the dog had already been adopted by another family and we must have come by to irate him. Ok, the other person didn't know and we can accept that. What was so bad as we were dismissed by this man like we had intruded and he went back to his computer signaling we needed to get out. I can only hope that the animals are treated with more dignity.

I pet sit and dropped my pit friend Linda off for boarding for her owner. Was able to easily drop off and communicate Linda's needs with the employee at the counter. Good customer service skills.

You don't need to worry about your pet being locked up in a tiny cage all day at Zeus' Place. They get plenty of time to socialize and the staff are really passionate animal lovers.

I'm assuming they are fine, my dog came out clean and clipped--but their shampoo smells absolutely vile--like a cross between a urinal mint and a taxi air freshener. Next time, I'll bring my own (natural) product, I guess...

My dog so loves Zues Place that he has actually escaped the house a couple of times and ran to the kennel. They found him barking at the front door to get in and called me. This is true!

Must not be in need of folks to adopt because I was cut off as soon as I said I was from out of town. Heaven forbid if someone wants to save a dog from an area where kill shelters and heartworms are so prevalent. A little bit of education and open mindedness will go a long way to help save animals -- please give it a try.
